1 Safety
Observe the following safety instructions.
1.1 General information
¡Read this instruction manual carefully.
¡Keep the instruction manual and the product information safe
for future reference or for the next owner.
¡Do not connect the appliance if it has been damaged in transit.
1.2 Intended use
Only use this appliance:
¡With genuine parts.
¡For cutting up, chopping, blending and puréeing liquid or semi-
solid food.
¡for warming and heating up food.
¡for crushing ice cubes and frozen food.
¡Under supervision.
¡In private households and in enclosed spaces in a domestic en-
vironment at room temperature.
¡for normal processing quantities and for normal processing
times for domestic use.
¡Up to an altitude of max. 2000m above sea level.
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when:
¡are not using the appliance.
¡the appliance is unattended.
¡assembling the appliance.
¡taking the appliance apart.
¡cleaning the appliance.
¡approaching rotating parts.
¡confronted with a fault.

1.3 Restriction on user group
This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and/or
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction con-
cerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand
the hazards involved.
Do not let children play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by chil-
dren.
The appliance must not be used by children. Keep children away
from the appliance and power cable.
1.4 Safety instructions
Take note of the safety instructions.
WARNING‒Risk of electric shock!
If the appliance or the power cord is damaged, this is dangerous.
▶Never operate a damaged appliance.
▶Never operate an appliance with a cracked or fractured surface.
▶Never pull on the power cord to unplug the appliance. Always
unplug the appliance at the mains.
▶If the appliance or the power cord is damaged, immediately un-
plug the power cord or switch off the fuse in the fuse box.

Incorrect installation is dangerous.
▶Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the
specifications on the rating plate.
▶Connect the appliance to a power supply with alternating cur-
rent only via a properly installed socket with earthing.
▶The protective conductor system of the domestic electrical in-
stallation must be properly installed.
▶Never equip the appliance with an external switching device,
e.g. a timer or remote control.
Incorrect repairs are dangerous.
▶Repairs to the appliance should only be carried out by trained
specialist staff.

▶Only use genuine spare parts when repairing the appliance.
▶If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's Customer Ser-
vice or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent any risk.
An ingress of moisture can cause an electric shock.
▶Never immerse the appliance or the power cord in water or
clean in the dishwasher.
▶Liquids must not be spilled on the appliance plug connection.
▶Only use the appliance in enclosed spaces.
▶Never expose the appliance to intense heat or humidity.

If the insulation of the power cord is damaged, this is dangerous.

Intense heat may cause the appliance and other parts to catch

▶Open the lid carefully.
▶Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning or transport-

After use, the surface of the heating element may still be hot for a
certain period.

Hot food may splash out during processing and steam can es-
cape from the lid.
▶Never exceed the maximum quantities specified.
▶Be careful when processing hot food.

▶When processing food, always fit the lid and seal it with the
locking cap.
WARNING‒Risk of injury!
Operating the appliance with damaged parts may result in injury.
▶Parts which show cracks or other damage or do not fit correctly
must be replaced with genuine spare parts.
Improper use may cause injuries.
▶Only use the appliance once it is fully assembled.
Rotating drives, tools or accessory parts do not stop straightaway
after switching off the appliance and may cause injury.
▶After switching off, wait until the drive has come to a complete
standstill.

The blender knife has sharp blades.
▶When cleaning and emptying the blender jug, watch out for the
sharp blades.

Soiling on surfaces may be harmful to health.
▶Follow the cleaning instructions.
▶Clean surfaces which come in contact with food before each
use.
When hard food is processed, abrasion of the plastic may occur
on some components and then get into the food.
▶Never process hard or solid food in the To-Go blender jug or
baby food jug. Blend dry food with sufficient liquid.

▶Before use, check the blender jug
for foreign objects.
▶Do not process food that is hotter
than40°C in the To-Go blender

jug, the lid of the To-Go blender
jug or the lid of the baby food jug
to temperatures above 75°C.
▶Do not expose the baby food jug
to temperature differences
between hot and cold of more than
90K.

5.5 Safety systems

pliance's safety systems here.
Start lock-out
The safety lock ensures that the ap-
pliance will only start processing un-
der certain conditions.
The appliance can only be switched
on and operated if one of the
following conditions is satisfied.
¡The heated blender jug has been
properly closed with the lid and
placed on the main unit correctly.
¡The adapter with blender blade is
screwed to the To-Go blender jug
or the baby food jug and correctly
attached to the main unit.
¡The nutritional jug is placed on the
main unit correctly.
Note:If the jug becomes detached or
the lid is opened, the appliance auto-
matically switches off the heating ele-
ment and the drive.
Overload protection
The overload protection system pre-
vents the motor and other compon-
ents from being damaged through
being overloaded.
If the motor becomes too hot, it will
switch off automatically.
Overflow protection1
The overflow protection system pre-
vents liquids boiling too hard and
overflowing.
A sensor in the lid of the blender jug
detects excessive boiling and
switches the heating element off.
Dry-run protection
If no or too few ingredients have
been added, the dry-run protection
system switches the heating element
off.

1. Place the appliance on a stable,
level, clean and flat work surface.
2. Clean all parts that come into con-
tact with food before using for the
first time.

Note:There may be a slight odour
when using the new appliance for the
first or second time. This odour is
due to the appliance being new and

7.1 Using the jug
You can find out everything you need
to know about the different jugs here.
Heated blender jug
Blending, chopping and puréeing
food. You can additionally warm and
heat up food.
Fitting the heated blender jug
1. Add the prepared food.
2. Place the lid on the blender jug
and rotate clockwise until the
handle is completely covered by
the lid.

3. Place the locking cap on the lid
and secure by turning clockwise.

unit as shown and press down.

To-Go blender jug and baby food
jug
Blend small quantities of moist food
directly in the To-Go blender jug and
the baby food jug. After blending you
can close the containers with the lids
and transport, store or warm them
up.
Fitting the To-Go blender jug
1. Add the prepared food.
2. Place the adapter with the mixing
blade on the To-Go blender jug
and secure by turning clockwise.

Warming and heating food very
gently. You can also insert the stew
container or the baby food jug in the
lid and warm them.
Fitting the nutritional jug

2. Place the lid on the nutritional jug
and press down until it audibly
clicks into place.

3. Place the locking cap on the lid

and remove.

1. Select the required programme.

repeatedly until the required pro-
gramme symbol lights up.

7.6 Using the delay timer
1. Select a preparation programme
with a heating function.
2. Press "Preset".
3. Select the required delay time with
the and buttons.
4. Press "Start/Pause".
aThe selected time now counts
down.
aWhen this time ends, the prepara-
tion programme has finished and
the food can be served.
7.7 Saving and retrieving in-
dividual settings1
1. Press ⁠.
2. Individually adjust the required
parameters.

3. To start processing with the indi-
vidual parameters, press "Start/
Pause".
The changed parameters will not
be saved.
4. To save individual parameters,
press and hold for 2seconds.
5. To retrieve individual parameters
again, press and start pro-
cessing with "Start/Pause".
Tip:You can adjust parameters for
your individual programme at any
time and save them again.
8 Cleaning and servicing
8.1 Cleaning products
Find out here which cleaning
products are suitable for your appli-
ance.
ATTENTION!
Using unsuitable cleaning agents or
incorrect cleaning may damage the
appliance.
▶Do not use cleaning agents con-
taining alcohol or spirits.
▶Do not use sharp, pointed or metal
objects.
▶Do not use abrasive cloths or
cleaning agents.
▶Only clean the control panel and
the display using a damp mi-
crofibre cloth.
8.2 Cleaning the appliance
and parts
Tip:Clean all parts immediately after
use so that residues do not dry on.
