Allgemeine Hinweise
Bevor Sie das Coach WirelessMicrophone
System in Betrieb nehmen, lesen Sie diese
Anleitung sorgfältig und machen Sie sich mit
den Geräten vertraut. Bewahren Sie diese
Anleitung für spätere Fragen im Fahrzeug auf.
Verkehrssicherheit
Die Verkehrssicherheit ist oberstes
Gebot. Bedienen Sie die Geräte nur,
wenn es die Verkehrslage zulässt.
Machen Sie sich vor Fahrtantritt mit
den Geräten vertraut.
Akustische Warnsignale von Polizei,
Feuerwehr und Rettungsdiensten
müssen Sie im Fahrzeug rechtzeitig
wahrnehmen können.
Sicherheitshinweise
Sicherheit
Lagern Sie das unbenutzte Handmi-
krofon während der Fahrt stets so,
dass von ihm keine Gefahren für
Fahrer, andere Besatzungsmitglieder
und Passagiere ausgehen.
fSchütten Sie keine Flüssigkeiten wie z. B.
Wasser auf das Gerät.
fStellen Sie keine Behältnisse mit Flüssig-
keiten auf das Gerät.
fFalls Flüssigkeiten oder feste Gegen-
stände in das Gerät eindringen, trennen
Sie es unverzüglich von der Stromversor-
gung und lassen Sie es von Fachpersonal
überprüfen.

Reinigungshinweise
fReinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem mit
lauwarmem Wasser befeuchteten,
weichen Tuch.
fAchten Sie darauf, dass keine Feuchtigkeit
oder Nässe in das Display oder das
Geräteinnere gelangen.
fSprühen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten auf das
Gerät.
fVerwenden Sie keine aggressiven
Reinigungsmittel wie Verdünner, Benzin,
Scheuermittel oder säure- oder alkalihal-
tigen Lösungen.
fVerwenden Sie keine harten, rauen oder
scharfkantigen Gegenstände, die das
Gehäuse oder Display beschädigen
könnten.
Einbauhinweise
fDer Montageort muss eine starre,
möglichst vibrationsfreie Fläche mit
ausreichender Stabilität sein. Für die
Einhaltung der gesetzlichen Bestim-
mungen ist der Fahrzeughersteller
verantwortlich.
fMontieren Sie die Empfängerstation und
ihre Verkabelung so, dass der Fahrer nicht
in der Sicht und dem Erreichen von
Bedienelementen des Fahrzeugs
behindert wird oder dass andere
Besatzungsmitglieder oder Passagiere
behindert oder gefährdet werden.
fMontieren Sie die Empfängerstation so,
dass genug Raum für eine senkrechte
Ausrichtung der Antennen vorhanden ist.
fVerlegen Sie die Verkabelung zur
Übertragung von Audiosignalen getrennt
von der Verkabelung der Netzversorgung
des Gerätes, um Störungen bzw.
Einstreuungen auf der Übertragungslei-
tung zu vermeiden.
fDie Anschlusskabel sind nach der
Montage so zu fixieren, dass keine Kräfte
auf die Stecker einwirken.
fMontieren Sie die Empfängerstation nicht
in der Nähe von Wärmequellen.
fDie Lüftungslöcher der Empfängerstation
dürfen nicht abgedeckt werden. Konvek-
tion/Lüftung muss sichergestellt sein.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Coach WirelessMicrophone System ist ein
kabelloses FM-Funkmikrofonsystem zur
Montage in Reisebussen mit 12 V- bzw.
24 V-Bordnetz für Durchsagen durch den
Reisebegleiter.

Die 4-Kanal-Variante des Coach WirelessMicro-

16-Kanal-Variante muss immer mit der
entsprechenden Empfängerstation betrieben
werden.

Inbetriebnahme
Hinweise:
fFür den Einbau der Empfänger-

Kapitel "Installation Notes" am
Ende dieser Anleitung.
fFür den Einbau der optionalen
Ladestation lesen Sie bitte die
Einbauanleitung der Ladesta-
tion.
Batterien/Akkus einlegen
Hinweis:
Bei Betrieb einer optionalen
Ladestation verwenden Sie die mit
der Ladestation gelieferten Akkus.
fEntfernen Sie am Handmikrofon die
Abdeckung des Batterie-/Akkufachs,
indem Sie sie im Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
fLegen Sie die Batterien/Akkus entspre-
chend der Batterie-/Akkupole ein.
fSchließen Sie das Batterie-/Akkufach,
indem Sie die Abdeckung gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn auf das Mikrofongehäuse
schrauben.
Kanal einstellen
Für die Audiosignalübertragung zwischen
Handmikrofon und Empfängerstation stehen
Ihnen 4 Kanäle (0-3) zur Verfügung.
Werksseitig ist der Kanal "0" voreingestellt.
Wenn Sie einen anderen Kanal verwenden

möchten, müssen Sie diesen sowohl an der
Empfängerstation als auch am Handmikrofon
einstellen.
fSchalten Sie die Empfängerstation bzw.
das Handmikrofon ein (siehe Kapitel
"Ein- und Ausschalten").
Hinweis:
Um den aktuell eingestellten Kanal
anzuzeigen, drücken Sie kurz die
Kanalwahltaste 5bzw. 7.
Um in den Kanalwahlmodus zu wechseln,
fdrücken Sie die Kanalwahltaste 5bzw.
7für etwa 2 Sekunden.
Im Display 1bzw. 6blinkt der Punkt neben
dem angezeigten aktuellen Kanal.
fDrücken Sie die Kanalwahltaste 5bzw.
7so oft, bis der gewünschte Kanal
angezeigt wird.
Hinweis:
Sie können die Kanalwahltaste 5
bzw. 7auch gedrückt halten, um
kontinuierlich zum jeweils nächsten
Kanal zu wechseln. Lassen Sie die
Kanalwahltaste 5bzw. 7los,
sobald der gewünschte Kanal
angezeigt wird.
Der jeweils angezeigte Kanal wird automatisch
nach 4 Sekunden ohne weiteren Tastendruck
eingestellt. Der Kanalwahlmodus wird
verlassen.
Lautstärke einstellen
Sie können die Lautstärke, mit der Mikrofon-
durchsagen wiedergegeben werden, an der
Empfängerstation einstellen:
fDrehen Sie den Lautstärkeregler 4im
Uhrzeigersinn (lauter) bzw. gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn (leiser).
Ein- und Ausschalten
Empfängerstation
Die Empfängerstation schaltet sich automa-
tisch zusammen mit der Fahrzeugzündung ein
und aus.
Nach dem Einschalten wird der aktuell
eingestellte Kanal kurz im Display 1ange-
zeigt.
Nach dem Einschalten versucht die Empfänger-
station automatisch, sich mit dem Handmikro-
fon zu verbinden. Sobald die Verbindung
hergestellt ist, leuchtet die rote LED 2
dauerhaft.
Hinweis:
Das Handmikrofon kann nur verbun-
den werden,
fwenn es eingeschaltet ist (siehe
nächsten Abschnitt).
fwenn Empfängerstation und
Handmikrofon auf den gleichen
Kanal eingestellt sind (siehe
Kapitel "Kanal einstellen").
Hinweis:
Während die Empfängerstation
Audiosignale vom Handmikrofon
empfängt, blinkt die grüne LED 3.

Handmikrofon
Zum Ein- bzw. Ausschalten,
fdrücken Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste :für
etwa 2 Sekunden.
Der aktuell eingestellte Kanal wird kurz im
Display 6angezeigt. Ist das Handmikrofon
eingeschaltet, zeigt die LED 8den aktuellen
Batterie-/Akku-Status an.
Hinweise:
fSie können das ausgeschaltete
Handmikrofon auch einschalten,
indem Sie den Stummschalter
9nach unten in die Laut-
Position schieben.
fWenn Sie das Handmikrofon aus
der optionalen Ladestation
nehmen, wird es automatisch
eingeschaltet.
fIst das Handmikrofon stummge-
schaltet, schaltet es sich nach
etwa 30 Minuten automatisch
aus.
fIst die Batterie-/Akku-Kapazität
kleiner als 10 % bzw. 1,8 V, wird
das Handmikrofon automatisch
ausgeschaltet.

Blinkt / leuchtet grün ≥ 20%
Blinkt schnell rot < 20%
Handmikrofon stumm-/
lautschalten
Um das Handmikrofon stumm- bzw. lautzu-
schalten,
fschieben Sie den Stummschalter 9nach
oben (stumm) bzw. unten (laut).
Nach dem Laut- bzw. Stummschalten wird der
aktuell eingestellte Kanal kurz im Dispay 6
angezeigt.
Bei stumm geschaltetem Mikrofon blinkt die
LED 8.
Hinweis:
Wenn Sie bei ausgeschaltetem
Handmikrofon den Stummschalter in
die Laut-Position schieben, wird das
Handmikrofon automatisch ein- und
lautgeschaltet.

Handmikrofon aufladen
Bei Betrieb einer optionalen Ladestation
können Sie das Handmikrofon in der Ladesta-
tion aufladen.
Die Ladestation verfügt über einen Spannungs-
schutz, der Kurzschlüsse, Überhitzung und
eine Ladung herkömmlicher Batterien
verhindert.
Hinweise:
Achten Sie darauf, dass im Handmi-
krofon die mit der Ladestation
gelieferten Akkus eingelegt sind.
Herkömmliche Batterien werden
nicht aufgeladen.
fFühren Sie das Handmikrofon mit dem
Griff nach unten in die Ladestation ein.
Hinweise:
fAchten Sie beim Einführen bitte
darauf, dass die Aussparung am
unteren Ende des Handmikro-
fons so ausgerichtet ist, dass die
Ladekontakte in die richtige
Position gelangen.
fDisplay 6und LED 8des
Handmikrofons sind deaktiviert,
solange es sich in der Ladesta-
tion befindet.
Die grüne LED an der Ladestation zeigt den
Ladestatus an:

General information
Before using the Coach WirelessMicrophone
System, please read these instructions
carefully and familiarize yourself with the
devices. Keep these instructions in your
vehicle for later reference.
Road safety
Road safety has absolute priority.
Only operate the devices if the
driving and traffic situation allow you
to do so. Familiarize yourself with the
devices before setting off on your
journey.
You must always be able to hear
police, fire service and ambulance
sirens in good time from inside your
vehicle.
Safety notices
Safety
When traveling, always store the
unused hand microphone in such a
way that it does not present a risk to
the driver, other members of the crew
or passengers.
fDo not spill any liquids such as water onto
the device.
fDo not put any containers with liquid in
them on the device.
fIf any liquids or solid objects get into the
device, disconnect it immediately from
the power supply, and have it checked by
qualified personnel.

General information
Cleaning information
fClean the device with a soft cloth
moistened with lukewarm water.
fMake sure that neither the display nor the
inside of the device gets damp or wet.
fDo not spray any liquids onto the device.
fDo not use any aggressive cleaning agents
such as paint thinner, gasoline, abrasive
cleaner, or solutions containing acid or
alkali.
fDo not use any hard, rough or sharp-
edged objects that could damage the
housing or display.
Installation notes
fThe installation location must be a rigid
surface of sufficient stability and with as
little vibration as possible. The vehicle
manufacturer is responsible for compli-
ance with the legal requirements.
fInstall the receiver station and its cabling
in such a way that the driver's ability to
see or to reach the vehicle's operating
elements is not impaired, and so that no
obstacle or danger is presented to other
members of the crew or passengers.
fInstall the receiver station in such a way
that there is enough room for the
antennas to be vertical.
fLay the cables that carry audio signals
separately from the cables that bring
power to the device, in order to avoid
malfunctions or interference on the
transmission lines.
fAfter installation, the connecting cables
must be fixed in such a way that no forces
can act on the connectors.
fDo not install the receiver station close to
sources of heat.
fThe ventilation holes of the receiver
station must not be covered. Convection/
ventilation must be assured.

The Coach WirelessMicrophone System is a
cordless FM radio microphone system for
installation in coaches with 12 V or 24 V
on-board power supplies for announcements
by the tour guide.

The 4-channel variant of the Coach Wireless-
Microphone System is not compatible with the
16-channel variant. The microphone of the

Getting ready for use

Insert batteries
Note:
If using an optional charging station,
use the batteries that were supplied
with the charging station.
fTake the cover off the battery compart-
ment of the hand microphone by turning it
clockwise.
fInsert the batteries, making sure they are
the right way round.
fClose the battery compartment by
screwing the cover anticlockwise onto the
microphone housing.
Setting the channel
4 channels (0-3) are available for the transmis-
sion of audio signals between the hand
microphone and the receiver station.
Channel "0" is set at the factory. If you want to
use a different channel, you must set this both

at the receiver station and at the hand
microphone.
fSwitch the receiver station and the hand
microphone on (see the "Switching on and
off" section).
Note:
Briefly press the channel selection
button 5or 7to get a display of
the channel that is currently set.
To switch into the channel selection mode,
fPress the channel selection button 5or
7for about 2 seconds.
The dot next to the currently selected channel
displayed flashes on the display 1or 6.
fPress the channel selection button 5or
7as many times as necessary until the
desired channel is displayed.
Note:
You can also hold the channel
selection button 5or 7down in
order to change continuously to the
next channel. Release the channel
selection button 5or 7as soon as
the desired channel is displayed.
Whatever channel is displayed will automati-
cally be set after 4 seconds without pressing
any more buttons. Channel selection mode is
closed.
Adjusting the volume
You can adjust the volume with which micro-
phone announcements are played at the
receiver station:
fTurn the volume control 4clockwise
(louder) or anticlockwise (quieter).
Switching on/off
Receiver station
The receiver station automatically switches
itself on and off with the vehicle ignition.
After being switched on, the currently selected
channel is shown briefly on the display 1.
After being switched on, the receiver station
automatically attempts to connect to the hand
microphone. As soon as the connection has
been established, the red LED 2is lit
continuously.
Note:
The hand microphone can only be
connected
fIf it is switched on (see next
section).
fIf the receiver station and the
hand microphone are set to the
same channel (see the "Setting
the channel" section).
Note:
The green LED 3flashes while the
receiver station is receiving audio
signals from the hand microphone.

To switch on or off,
fPress the on/off button :button for
approx. 2 seconds.

Charging hand microphone
Charging the hand
microphone
If you use the optional charging station you can
charge the hand microphone in it.
The charging station includes a voltage
protection system that prevents short-circuits,
overheating and the charging of conventional
batteries.
Notes:
Make sure that the batteries supplied
with the charging station are inserted
into the hand microphone. Conven-
tional batteries will not be charged.
fInsert the hand microphone into the
charging station, with the handle
downwards.
Notes:
fWhen inserting, please make
sure that the recess at the
bottom end of the hand
microphone is aligned in such a
way that the charging contacts
reach the correct position.
fThe display 6and LED 8of
the hand microphone are
deactivated for as long as it is in
the charging station.
The green LED on the charging station
indicates the charge status:

capacity is less than 80% when

Indications générales
Avant de vous servir du Coach WirelessMicro-
phone System, lisez attentivement le présent
mode d'emploi et familiarisez-vous avec les
appareils. Conservez le mode d'emploi dans le
véhicule en cas de questions ultérieures
pouvant se poser.
Sécurité au volant
La sécurité au volant est absolument
prioritaire. Utilisez uniquement les
appareils si la circulation le permet.
Avant de prendre le volant, familiari-
sez-vous avec les appareils.
Les sirènes de la police, des pom-
piers et des services de secours
doivent pouvoir être entendues à
temps à l'intérieur du véhicule.

conducteur, les membres de

fNe déversez pas de liquides, tels que de

fSi du liquide ou des solides pénètrent à
l'intérieur de l'appareil, débranchez-le

Consignes de nettoyage
fNettoyez l'appareil avec un chiffon doux et
humidifié à l'eau tiède.
fVeillez à ce que l'humidité ne pénètre pas
dans l'affichage ou à l'intérieur de
l'appareil.
fNe pulvérisez pas de liquide sur l'appareil.
fN'utilisez pas de détergents agressifs tels
que les diluants, l'essence, les nettoyants
abrasifs ou les solutions à base d'acide ou
d'alcali.
fN'utilisez pas d'objets durs, rugueux ou à
arêtes vives qui risqueraient d'endomma-
ger le boîtier ou l'affichage.
Consignes de montage
fL’emplacement de montage doit être une
surface rigide, si possible exempte de
vibrations, offrant suffisamment de
stabilité. Le fabricant du véhicule est tenu
de respecter les dispositions légales.
fMontez la station de réception et ses
câbles de façon à ne pas gêner la visibilité
et l'accès du conducteur aux éléments de
commande du véhicule, et à ne pas gêner
ou mettre en danger les membres de
l'équipage ou les passagers.
fMontez la station de réception de façon à
disposer de suffisamment de place pour
positionner les antennes à la verticale.
fPosez le câble de transmission du signal
audio séparément du câble d'alimentation
de l'appareil, afin d'éviter les parasites et
interférences sur la ligne de transmission.
fAprès le montage, les câbles de branche-
ment doivent être fixés de façon à ne pas
exercer de traction sur les prises.
fNe montez pas la station de réception à
proximité de sources de chaleur.
fLes prises d'air de la station de réception
ne doivent pas être couvertes. La
convection/l'aération doit être assurée.

Le Coach WirelessMicrophone System est un
système de microphone FM sans fil à monter
dans les autobus équipés d'un réseau de bord
de 12 V ou 24 V, permettant à l'accompagna-
teur de faire des annonces dans le bus.
