1 General information
1.1 Important safeguards
• Always make all connections before plugging the
unit into an AC power outlet.
• Do not leave the devices in a place with high
temperature and high humidity.
• Never handle the power cord with wet hands.
• Keep the devices away from fire and heat sources.
1.2 Recommendations
• In order to achieve the optimum reception condition
and also extend the operating distance, leave an
"open air" range between the receiver and the
transmitter ("open air" means no obstacles between
the receiver and the transmitter).
• Keep the devices at least 50 cm away from metal
objects or any other possible interference sources.
• When using multiple wireless microphone systems
close to each other, use a frequency interval of
250 kHz or more to avoid interference.
• To avoid acoustical feed-back, do not hold the
microphone close to the loudspeakers.
• For the best sound pick-up pattern do not hold your
hand against the microphone head.
• Remove the batteries from the battery compartment
when the device is not used for a long time.
1.3 Feature overview
• Operates in UHF band for interference reduction;
• Works with PLL technology;
• Offers 193 selectable frequencies;
• True diversity reception ensures stable reception;
• Pilot tone squelch for noise reduction;
• Tuned antennas for stable RF reception;
• S.A.W. filter for interference resistance;
• Built-in noise squelch to avoid interference and noise;
• 19" half rack mounting to save space;
• Rugged metal housing and robust design;
• Balanced XLR and unbalanced output for more
convenience.
