Safety Notes
Read all safety warnings and all in-
structions. Failure to follow the warn-
ings and instructions may result in elec-
tric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
fDo not allow children to use the hot air gun
without supervision. Children can injur
themselves.
fChildren or persons with mental or physical
limitations may only use the hot air gun un-
der supervision or after having been in-
structed. A thorough introduction reduces
operating errors and injuries.
fBe careful when working with the power
tool. The power tool produces intense heat
which can lead to increased danger of fire
and explosion.
fExercise special care when working close to
inflammable materials. The hot air jet or the
hot nozzle can ignite dust or gases.
fDo not operate or work with the power tool
in areas where there is danger of explosion.
fNever direct the hot air jet at the same po-
sition for longer periods. Easily inflammable
gases can develop e.g., when working plas-
tic, paint, varnish or similar materials.
fBe aware that heat can be conducted to hid-
den covered materials and can ignite them.
fAfter using, place the power tool down in a
secure manner and allow it to cool down
completely before packing it away. The hot
nozzle can cause damage.
fDo not leave the switched-on power tool un-
attended.
fStore idle power tools out of the reach of
children. Do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
fDo not expose the power tool to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
fDo not abuse the cord. Never use the cord
for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power
tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or entan-
gled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
fAlways wear safety goggles. Safety goggles
will reduce the risk of injuries.
fDisconnect the plug from the socket outlet
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or placing the power tool
aside. This safety measure prevents uninten-
tional starting of the power tool.
fCheck the power tool, cord and plug each
time before use. Do not use the power tool if
damage is determined. Do not open the pow-
er tool yourself and have it serviced only by
a qualified repair person using only original
spare parts. Damaged power tools, cords and
plugs increase the risk of electric shock.
Provide for good ventilation of
your working place. Gas and va-
pour developing during working
are often harmful to one’s health.
fWear safety gloves and do not touch the hot
nozzle. Danger of burning.
fNever direct the hot air jet against persons
or animals.
fDo not use the power tool as a hairdryer.
The hot air being blown out is significantly
hotter than that from a hairdryer.
fWhen operating the power tool in damp en-
vironments is unavoidable, use a residual
current device (RCD). The use of a residual
current device (RCD) reduces the risk of an
electric shock.
fNever use the machine with a damaged ca-
ble. Do not touch the damaged cable and
pull the mains plug when the cable is dam-
aged while working. Damaged cables in-
crease the risk of an electric shock.
fProducts sold in GB only: Your product is fit-
ted with an BS 1363/A approved electric plug
with internal fuse (ASTA approved to
BS 1362).
If the plug is not suitable for your socket out-
lets, it should be cut off and an appropriate
plug fitted in its place by an authorised cus-
tomer service agent. The replacement plug
should have the same fuse rating as the origi-
nal plug.
The severed plug must be disposed of to
avoid a possible shock hazard and should nev-
er be inserted into a mains socket elsewhere.

Functional Description
Intended Use
The power tool is intended for the forming and
welding of plastic, removal of paint and the
warming of heat-shrinkable tubing. It is also
suitable for soldering and tinning, loosening of
adhesive joints and the defrosting of water lines.

Operation
Starting Operation
fObserve correct mains voltage! The voltage
of the power source must agree with the
voltage specified on the nameplate of the
machine. Power tools marked with 230 V
can also be operated with 220 V.
Switching On
GHG 500-2: Press the On/Off switch 4to posi-
tion Ior II.
GHG 600-3: Press the On/Off switch 4to posi-
tion I, II or III.
GHG 630 DCE: Press the On/Off switch 5to po-
sition I, II or III.
Thermal-protection shut-off: In case of over-
heating (e.g. due to air build-up), the power tool
automatically shuts off the heating system, but
the blower will continue to run. When the power
tool has cooled down to the operating tempera-
ture, the heating system is automatically
switched on again.
Switching Off
GHG 500-2/GHG 600-3: Press the On/Off
switch 4to position 0.
GHG 630 DCE: Press the On/Off switch 5to po-
sition 0.
GHG 600-3/GHG 630 DCE: After working for a
longer time with high temperature, allow the
power tool to cool down by running it in the cold
air setting Ibefore switching off.
Setting the Air Flow and Temperature
(GHG 500-2/GHG 600-3)
With the On/Off switch 4, you can select be-
tween different air flows and temperature com-
binations:
GHG 600-3: The cold air setting Iis suitable for
cooling a warmed workpiece or for drying of
paint. It is also suitable for cooling the power tool
before placing it down or when changing nozzles.
Regulating the Air flow (GHG 630 DCE)
With the On/Off switch 5, you can regulate the
air flow in three steps:
As an example, reduce the air flow when the sur-
rounding area of a workpiece is not to be heated
excessively or when a light workpiece could be
moved away by the air flow.
In the cold air setting I, the temperature is fixed
at 50 °C; in the hot air settings II and III, the
temperature can be continuously regulated.
Setting the Temperature (GHG 630 DCE)
The temperature can only be regulated in the
hot air settings II and III. In the cold air setting
I, the temperature is fixed at 50°C.
When switching from the cold air setting Ito one
of the hot air settings, the last set target temper-
ature is indicated for approx. 3 seconds be-
tween flashing arrows on display 7. The target
temperature is the same for both hot air steps II
and III, and does not change when switching be-
tween the two steps.
To increase the temperature, press on the “+” of
the temperature-control button 6, to decrease
the temperature, press on the “–”.
Briefly pressing the temperature-control button
6at the respective position increases or de-
creases the temperature by 10 °C. Prolonged
pressing of the temperature-control button con-
tinuously increases or decreases the tempera-
ture by 10 °C, until the button is released or the
maximum or minimal temperature is reached.

After a change to the temperature setting, the
power tool requires a short period to warm up
or cool down the air flow. During this period, the
target temperature is indicated between the
flashing arrows in the display 7. When the target
temperature is reached, the arrows go out and
the display indicates the actual temperature.
When switching from the hot air steps II or III to
the cold air setting I, a short time is required un-
til the power tool has cooled to 50 °C. During
the cooling period, the actual temperature at
the nozzle outlet is indicated on the display 7.
The cold air setting Iis suitable for cooling a
warmed workpiece or for drying of paint. It is
also suitable for cooling the power tool before
placing it down or when changing nozzles.
Working Advice
fBefore any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
Note: Do not apply the nozzle 1too close to the
workpiece being worked. The hot air build-up
can lead to overheating of the power tool.
Removing the Heat Protection
The heat protection collar 2can be removed
when working at particularly hard-to-reach loca-
tions.
fBe careful of the hot nozzle! Increased dan-
ger of burning exists when working without
the heat protection collar.
To remove or mount the heat protection collar 2,
switch the power tool off and allow it to cool
down.
To speed up the cooling, the power tool can also
be operated for a short period with the lowest
adjustable temperature.
Turn the heat protection collar 2in anticlock-
wise direction to remove and in clockwise direc-
tion to mount again.
Placing Down the Power Tool (see figure C)
To cool down the power tool or have both hands
free, place it down on the standing surface 3.
fBe especially careful when working with the
placed down power tool! There is danger of
burning oneself on the hot nozzle or on the
hot air jet.
Work Examples
The figures of the application examples can be
found on the graphics pages.
The temperature settings in the work examples
are reference values that can vary, depending on
the material characteristics. The distance be-
tween the nozzle and the workpiece depends on
the material to be worked.
The optimal temperature for the respective ap-
plication can be determined by practical testing.
Always start with a low temperature setting.
All application examples can be performed
without accessories except for “Removing
Varnish/Paint from Windows”. However, the use
of recommended accessories simplifies the
work and significantly improves the quality of
the result.
fBe careful when changing the nozzle! Do
not touch the hot nozzle. Allow the power
tool to cool down and wear protective
gloves while changing the nozzle. Danger of
burning oneself on the hot nozzle.
Removing Varnish/Softening Adhesives
(see figure A)
Mount the wide jet nozzle 8(accessory). Briefly
soften the varnish applying hot air and remove it
using a sharp, clean scraper or putty knife.
Applying heat too long will burn the varnish,
making it more difficult to remove.
Many adhesives (e.g. of stickers) become soft
when heated. Heated adhesives allow for bonds
to be separated or excessive adhesive to be
removed.
Removing Varnish/Paint from Windows
(see figure B)
fUse of the glass protection nozzle 9 (acces-
sory) is essential. Danger of glass breaking.
On profiled surfaces, varnish can be removed
using an appropriately fitting spatula and
brushed off with a soft wire brush.

Shaping Plastic Tubing (see figure C)
Mount the reflector nozzle 10 (accessory). To
avoid kinking of the tubing, fill the tubing with
sand and plug both ends. Heat the tubing evenly
by by applying the heat from side to side.
Welding Plastics (see figure D)
Mount the reduction nozzle 13 and the welding
shoe 12 (both accessories). The workpieces to
be welded and the welding rod 11 (accessory)
must be of the same material (e.g. both of PVC).
The seam must be clean and grease-free.
Carefully heat up the seam location until it be-
comes doughy. Please note that the tempera-
ture difference between the doughy and liquid
state of plastic is low.
Feed in the welding rod 11 and allow it to run in-
to the gap so that a uniform bead is produced.
Shrinking (see figure E)
Mount the reduction nozzle 13 (accessory). Se-
lect the diameter of the heat-shrinkable sleeve 14
(accessory) according to the workpiece (e.g. a ca-
ble lug). Heat the heat-shrinkable sleeve evenly.
Defrosting Water Pipes (see figure F)
fBefore heating pipes, check to make sure
that it is actually a water pipe. Water lines
often do not differ in appearance from gas
lines. Gas lines are not to be heated under
any circumstances.
Place on the angle nozzle 15 (accessory). Heat
the frozen zone always from the outside to the
middle.
Heat up plastic pipes as well as connections be-
tween pipe pieces especially careful to prevent
damage.
Soft Soldering (see figure G)
For point soldering, place on the reduction noz-
zle 13, for the soldering of pipes/tubing, place
on the reflector nozzle 10 (both accessories).
If solder without flux is used, apply soldering
grease or paste to the location to be soldered.
Warm the location to be soldered for
50–120 seconds depending on the material. Ap-
ply the solder. The solder must melt from the
workpiece temperature. After the soldered loca-
tion has cooled, remove the flux.
Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
fBefore any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
fFor safe and proper working, always keep
the machine and ventilation slots clean.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken
in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair
should be carried out by an after-sales service
centre for Bosch power tools.
In all correspondence and spare parts order,
please always include the 10-digit article
number given on the type plate of the machine.

f在调整机器、更换附件或收藏电动工具之前，务必

气体与蒸汽往往有害健康。
f工作时要戴好防护手套。不可以触摸灼热的吹风管。
有烫伤的危险。
f不可以把热气流朝向人或动物。
f不可以使用本电动工具充当电动干发机。热风枪的
气流基本上比电动干发机的气流热许多。
f如果不得不在潮湿的环境中使用电动工具，得加装
故障电流保护开关。使用故障电流保护开关可以避
免遭受电击。
f勿使用电线已经损坏的电动工具。如果电源电线在
工作中受损，千万不可触摸损坏的电线，並马上拔
出插头。损坏的电线会提高使用者触电的危险。

调整气流量与温度 (GHG 500-2/GHG 600-3)
使用起停开关 4可以在不同的气流量和温度的组合之间
进行选择。
GHG 600-3: 冷风 I档，用来冷却过热的工件或吹乾颜
料。此外在收藏电动工具及更换吹风管之前也可以使用
冷风 I 档冷却机器。
调节空气量 (GHG 630 DCE)
使用起停开关 5可以三段式地调节气流量 :
如果工件的周围环境无法承受高温，如果工件本身重量
轻容易被强风吹走，就要降低气流量。
冷风 I档的温度固定在 50 °C。在热风 II 档与热风 III 档
可以无段式地调节气流的温度。
调整温度 (GHG 630 DCE)
只有在热风 II 档与热风 III 档才可以调节气流的温度。冷
风I档的温度固定在 50 °C。
从冷风 I档转换为热风档之后，最后一次的设定温度会
显示约 3秒钟，显示的位置是在显示幕 7上的闪烁的箭
头之间。此时所设定的温度也可以用在热风 II 档与热风
III 档，即使在这两个档位之间变换也不会改变设定的温
度。
欲提高温度，要按下调节温度的按键 6的"+" 端，要降
低温度要按下该按键的 "–" 端。
轻按按键 6温度会上升或降低 10 °C。按住该按键，温
度则会以 10 °C 为单位继续上升或下降 至您放开按键
为止，或到达最低温和最高温为止。
改变温度设定时电动工具需要短暂的时间来加温或冷却
气流。此时设定的温度会显示在显示屏 7上的闪烁的箭
头之间。到达了设定的温度之后箭头便会消失，并且显
示屏上会出现目前的温度。
由热风 II 档或热风 III 档转换为冷风 I挡时，由於转换之
前的气流温度较高，必须稍待片刻后温度才能够降到
50 °C，在降温的过程显示屏 7会显示当时吹风管口的
实际温度。
冷风 I档，用来冷却过热的工件或吹乾颜料。此外在收
藏电动工具及更换吹风管之前也可以使用冷风 I 档冷却
机器。
有关操作方式的指点
f维修电动工具或换装零、配件之前，务必 从插座上
拔出插头。
指示：吹风管 1不可以靠工件太近。阻塞的气流会导致
电动工具超温。
拆卸隔热装置
在特别狭窄的地方工作时可以拆除隔热装置 2以方便作
业。
f小心，吹风管十分灼热！ 拆除隔热装置后，操作机
器时容易被吹风管烫伤。
先关闭机器而且等待机器冷却后才能够拆卸或安装隔热
装置 2。
必要时可以把电动工具设定在最低温的档位运转以加速
机器冷却。
朝着反时钟的转向拧转隔热装置 2可拿下隔热装置，安
装时则顺著时钟的转向拧入隔热装置。
竖立电动工具 （参考插图 C）
冷却灼热的机器时或工作中必须空出双手时，可以利用
竖立位置 3把电动工具竖立起来。
f操作竖立著的电动工具时要特别留心！ 勿让高温的
吹风管与机器排出的热气流烫伤。

工作范例
插图页上有工作范例的插图。
工作范例上提供的温度设定只是参考值，正确的设定温
度会随著加工材料不同而改变。工件表面与吹风管口之
间的距离必须参考工件材料而定。
实际尝试后才能够确知最理想的温度设定值。最好以较
低的设定温度 开始作业。
除了 " 清除窗户上的油漆 " 之外，进行其他的工作范例
时都不须另外安装附件。但是如果安装了本公司推荐的
附件，不仅能够减轻工作，更能够提高工作品质。
f更换吹风管时要特别小心！不可以碰触灼烫的吹风
管，更换时必须先让电动工具冷却而且要戴上防护
手套。您可能被灼烫的吹风管烫伤！
清除油漆／熔解黏胶 （参考插图 A）
安装扁平吹风管 8（附件）。先以热风软化油漆，再以
锋利、清洁的刮铲均匀地刮除油漆，如果加热过久，可
能会烧焦油漆，反而加重了刮漆的工作。
许多粘剂 （例如胶水）遇到热后会变软，因此可轻易取
下粘着物或刮除多余的粘剂。
清除窗户上的油漆 （参考插图 B）
f务必使用玻璃窗专用吹风管 9 （附件）。有造成玻
璃破裂的危险。
使用合适的刮铲刮除窗上雕花部位的油漆，接着再使用
软的钢丝刷刷干净。
弯折塑胶管 （参考插图 C）
安装反射吹风管 10 （附件）。为了避免扭折塑胶管，
要先在塑胶管内充填沙子，然后再堵住塑胶管的两端。
将塑胶管有规律地左右移动，以帮助管子均匀受热。
焊接塑料 （参考插图 D）
安装异径吹风管 13 与焊接辅助器 12 （两者皆为附
件）。被焊接的工件与焊条 11 （附件）必须出自同一
材料 （例如两者都是 PVC）。焊接缝必须保持清洁，其
上不可以有油脂。
先加热焊接位置使其变为粘稠状。此时必须非常小心，
因为粘稠的塑胶材料可能在非常短的时间内马上转变为
液体。
接著再把焊条 11 放在缝隙上并让焊条流入缝隙中，让
焊接线出现均匀的隆起。
收缩 （参考插图 E）
装上异径吹风管 13 （附件）。必须根据工件 （例如电
线的接头套管）的尺寸选择合适的热缩管 14 （附件）。
均匀地在热缩管上加热。
解冻水管 （参考插图 F）
f加热之前先检查待解冻的管子是否真的是水管。瓦
斯管与水管外观相似不容易分辨，千万不可以加热
瓦斯管。
装上角度吹风管 15 （附件）。解冻时，必须从冰冻处的
外围慢慢朝内加热。
加热塑料管，以及两个管子的接合处时要特别小心，以
避免造成伤害。
软焊 （参考插图 G）
进行点状焊接时要使用异径吹风管 13。焊接水管时则要
安装反射吹风管 10 （两者皆为附件）。
如果使用未添加助焊剂的焊料，则必须在焊接位置塗抹
焊脂或焊膏。先在工件上加热 50 至120 秒（加热时间
长短必须根据材料而定）接著再塗上焊料。焊料接触了
经过加热的表面便会熔化，等待焊接处冷却后再清除助
焊剂。
维修和服务
维修和清洁
f维修电动工具或换装零、配件之前，务必 从插座上
拔出插头。
f电动工具和通风间隙都必须保持清洁，这样才能够
提高工作品质和安全性。

閱讀所有的警告提示和指示。如未確實遵循

f不可以讓兒童在無人看管的情況下使用熱風槍。兒
童可能會受傷。
f有心理或生理障礙的兒童和成人，只有在監督之下
或指導之下，才可以使用本熱風槍。詳細的指導會
降低操作錯誤和受傷的危險。
f要小心操作電動工具。本電動工具會制造溫度極高
的氣流，它會提高火災和爆炸的危險。
f在易燃物體的附近操作機器時要特別小心。炙熱的
氣流或吹風管可能引燃塵埃或可燃氣體。
f不可以在有爆炸危險的場所操作電動工具。
f熱氣流不可以長時間對准同一個位置。例如加工塑
膠、顏料、油漆或其它類似材料時會產生易燃的氣

f注意，機器散發的熱氣可能會被引導到隱蔽的可燃
材料上，並引燃這些材料。
f使用完後要妥善存放電動工具。必須等待電動工具

f務必配戴護目鏡。配戴護目鏡可以降低受傷的危險。
f在調整機器、更換附件或收藏電動工具之前，務必
從插座上拔出插頭。這個防範措施可以避免不小心
開動電動工具。
f每次使用之前都要檢查電動工具，電線 和插頭。如
果發現任何損壞便不可以使用 電動工具。不可以擅
自拆開電動工具。機器只能交給專業電工使用原廠

保持工作場所空氣流通。工作時產生的
氣體與蒸汽往往有害健康。
f工作時要戴好防護手套。不可以觸摸灼熱的吹風管。
有燙傷的危險。
f不可以把熱氣流朝向人或動物。
f不可以使用本電動工具充當電動干髮機。熱風槍的
氣流基本上比電動干髮機的氣流熱許多。
f如果不得不在潮濕的環境中使用電動工具，得加裝
故障電流保護開關。使用故障電流保護開關可以避
免遭受電擊。
f勿使用電線已經損壞的電動工具。如果電源電線在
工作中受損，千萬不可觸摸損壞的電線，並馬上拔
出插頭。損壞的電線會提高使用者觸電的危險。
