Intended use
If thedust bag changeindicator in thelid is filled com-
pletely when thefloor tool is lifted fromthefloor with
thehighest suction level selected,thedust bag must
bechanged,even though it may not yet befull. Even
if thedust bag is not full,it may still need changing,
dueto thetypeof dust which has been vacuumed.
Thenozzle, suction pipeand flexiblehosemust not
beblocked,even if this does not trigger thedust bag
changeindicator.
Only usethis vacuumcleaner in accordancewith the
instructions in this instruction manual.
In order to prevent injuriesand damage, the vacuum
cleaner must not be used for:
Vacuum-cleaning persons or animals
Vacuuming up:
− hazardous,sharp-edged,hot or glowing substances.
−damp or liquid substances.
− highly flammableor explosivesubstances and gases.
− ash,soot fromtiled stoves and central heating sys-
tems.
−toner dust fromprinters and copiers.
Spare parts, accessories, dust bags
Our original spareparts,original (special) accessories
and original dust bags aredesigned to work with the
features and requirements of our vacuumcleaners. We
thereforerecommend that you only useour original spa-
reparts,original (special) accessories and original dust
bags. This will ensurethat your vacuumcleaner has a
long servicelifeand that thequality of its cleaning per-
formancewill remain consistently high throughout.

Using unsuitableor inferior-quality spareparts,
(special) accessories and dust bags can damage
your vacuumcleaner. Damagecaused by theuseof
such products is not covered by our guarantee.

Proper use

Never vacuumwithout thedust bag or dust container,
motor protection or exhaust filter.

when using nozzles and tubes.

When vacuuming stairs,theappliancemust always be
positioned below theuser.
Do not usethepower cord or thehoseto carry or
transport thevacuumcleaner.
For safety reasons,if this appliance's mains power
cablebecomes damaged,it must bereplaced by the
manufacturer,their after-sales servicedepartment or
a similarlyqualified person.
If using theappliancefor longer than 30 minutes,pull
out thepower cord completely.
When disconnecting theappliancefromthemains,
pull on theplug itself to removeit; do not pull on the
power cord.
Do not pull thepower cord over sharp edges or allow
it to become trapped.
When thecableis being automatically rewound,en-
surethat themains plug is not thrown towards per-
sons,body parts,animals or objects.

Thevacuumcleaner is not suitablefor useon con-
struction sites.
