Setup
Charge the Battery
Fully charge the internal lithium ion battery before running
the printer on battery.
Set the Language
1. Turn on the printer.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap System Configuration, then Language.
4. Tap the desired language.
5. Tap to return to the home screen.
CAUTION! Do not use any AC adapter other
than the one provided with the printer.

Getting Software
Note: You must use Brady labeling software
to create and print labels.
Mobile
Download the free Brady Express Labels mobile app from
the Apple® App Store or the Google Play™ store.
Download label data from the cloud or create labels on
your mobile device.
Desktop
Download Brady Workstation desktop software at
workstation.bradyid.com.
Connecting to the Computer or Device
Connect to the labeling software using Bluetooth® wireless
technology, a Wi-Fi® wireless network, or a USB cable.
Tip: The printer comes with Bluetooth on. If you do not
want Bluetooth on, tap Settings, then Connection and
turn Bluetooth off.
Bluetooth
To connect via Bluetooth:
1. Make sure the printer is turned on and that Bluetooth is
on.
2. Follow the instructions in the Brady Express Labels
mobile app. When found, the printer is represented by its
serial number. The serial number is located inside the
printer behind the label roll. Select the printer on the
mobile device.

USB 2.0
To connect via USB 2.0, plug the provided USB cable into
the printer and the computer. The Brady software
automatically detects the printer.
Wi-Fi
To connect via Wi-Fi wireless network:
1. Make sure the printer is turned on.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Connection.
4. Tap Wi-Fi to turn on Wi-Fi and choose a network from
the list. If needed, the printer displays a key pad for
entering the password.
Advanced options are covered in the User’s Manual
located on the USB flash drive.

Creating and Printing Labels
Create Labels
Refer to the software documentation for help creating
labels.
Print
To print labels:
1. Make sure the printer is on and the cover is closed.
2. On the computer or mobile device, open the label file.
3. Click or tap the print button.
Feed
The software automatically feeds labels when
you print, but should you need to manually feed
labels, from the home screen on the printer, tap
Feed.
Cut
Use settings in the labeling software to
automatically cut either after each label or at the
end of the job (or never). If you need to cut
manually, from the home screen on the printer,
tap Cut.
CAUTION! Do not insert fingers near cutter. It
could pinch or cut.

Configuration
Chargez la batterie
Chargez complètement la batterie au lithium-ion avant de
faire fonctionner l’imprimante sur la batterie.
Configurez la langue
1. Mettez l’imprimante sous tension.
2. Appuyez sur Paramètres.
3. Appuyez sur Configuration du système, puis sur
Langue.
4. Tapez sur la langue souhaitée.
5. Tapez sur pour revenir à l'écran d'accueil.

Obtention du logiciel
Remarque : Vous devez utiliser le logiciel d'étiquetage
Brady pour créer et imprimer les étiquettes.
Mobile
Téléchargez l’application mobile gratuite Brady Express
Labels depuis Apple App Store ou Google Play™ Store.
Téléchargez les données d'étiquettes sur le nuage, ou
créez des étiquettes sur votre portable.
Bureau
Téléchargez le logiciel de bureau Brady Workstation sur le
site workstation.bradyid.com.
Connexion à l’ordinateur ou au périphérique
Connectez-vous au logiciel d'étiquetage en utilisant la
technologie sans fil Bluetooth®, un réseau sans fil Wi-Fi®
ou un câble USB.
Conseil : L’imprimante est livrée avec la fonction Bluetooth
activée. Si vous voulez désactiver la fonction, appuyez sur
Paramètres, puis sur Connexion et désactivez le Bluetooth.

2. Suivez les instructions donnée dans l’application Brady
Express Labels. Lorsqu’ils sont repérés, l’imprimante est
représentée par son numéro de série. Le numéro de
série se situe à l’intérieur de l’imprimante derrière le
rouleau d'étiquettes. Sélectionnez l’imprimante sur
l'appareil portable.
USB 2.0
Pour vous connecter via USB 2.0, branchez le câble USB
fourni à l’imprimante et à l’ordinateur. Le logiciel Brady
détecte automatiquement l’imprimante.
Wi-Fi
Pour vous connecter par le biais du réseau sans fil Wi-Fi :
1. Veillez à ce que l’imprimante soit en marche.
2. Appuyez sur Paramètres.
3. Appuyez sur Connexion.
4. Appuyez sur Wi-Fi pour mettre le WiFi en route et
sélectionnez un réseau dans la liste. Si nécessaire,
l’imprimante affiche un pavé numérique afin de saisir
mot de passe.

Création et impression d'étiquettes
Créer des étiquettes
Consultez la documentation logicielle pour vous aider à
créer les étiquettes.
Imprimer
Pour imprimer les étiquettes :
1. Veillez à ce que l’imprimante soit en marche et son
couvercle soit fermé.
2. Sur l’ordinateur ou l'appareil mobile, ouvrez le fichier
d'étiquettes.
3. Cliquez ou tapotez le bouton Impression.
Feed (Avance)
Le logiciel fait automatiquement avancer les
étiquettes lorsque vous imprimez, mais si vous
avez besoin de faire avancer les étiquettes
manuellement, à partir de l'écran d'accueil de
l’imprimante, appuyez sur Avance.
Couper
Utilisez les paramètres du logiciel d'étiquetage
pour découper automatiquement, soit après
chaque étiquette, soit à la fin de la tâche
d'impression. Si vous avez besoin de couper
manuellement, appuyez sur Couper sur l’écran
d’accueil de l'imprimante.
MISE EN GARDE ! Ne pas insérer les doigts
près du dispositif de coupe. Il pourrait vous
pincer ou vous couper.

Configuración
Cargar la pila
Cargue completamente la pila de ion-litio antes de hacer
funcionar la impresora con la pila.
