Wichtig
• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an
Wechselspannung (~) an und
prüfen Sie, ob Ihre Netzspannung
mit der Spannungsangabe auf
dem Gerät übereinstimmt.
• Dieses Gerät darf nicht in
der Nähe von mit Wasser
gefüllten Behältern wie z.B.
Badewanne, Dusche,
Waschbecken verwendet
werden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass
das Gerät nicht nass wird.
• Wenn das Gerät in einem Bade-
zimmer verwendet wird, ist nach
Gebrauch der Stecker zu ziehen,
da die Nähe von Wasser eine
Gefahr darstellt, auch wenn das
Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
• Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die
Installation einer Fehlerstrom-
Schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit
einem Bemessungsauslöse-
strom von nicht mehr als 30 mA
im Badezimmer-Stromkreis
empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren
Installateur um Rat.
• Bei Überlastung – zum Beispiel
durch Verdecken der Luftansaug-
bzw. der Auslassöffnungen mit
Fusseln und Haaren – schaltet
sich das Gerät aus und nach einer
Abkühlzeit von wenigen Minuten
wieder ein.
• Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht
um das Gerät. Überprüfen Sie
es gelegentlich auf Schadstellen.
Ist das Netzkabel beschädigt,
muss es durch eine vom Her-
steller benannte Reparatur-
werkstatt ersetzt werden, um
Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
• Kinder oder Personen mit
eingeschränkten physischen,
sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten dürfen dieses Gerät
nicht benutzen, es sei denn,
sie werden durch eine für ihre
Sicherheit zuständige Person
beaufsichtigt. Grundsätzlich
raten wir aber, das Gerät von
Kindern fern zu halten.
• Personen mit Herzschrittmacher
(oder Defibrillator) sollten den
Gebrauch der Schwebehaube mit
ihrem Arzt absprechen. Als Vor-
sichtsmaßnahme raten wir von
einer Anwendung der Schwebe-
haube ab, falls der Motor der
Schwebehaube in die Nähe des
Herzschrittmachers (Defibrilla-
tors) gelangen könnte.

Vor Gebrauch
Trennen Sie die beiden Motoren 2,
indem Sie einfach einen Motor
hochschieben (a).
Wichtig: Falten Sie die Trocken-
haube vollständig auseinander und
vergewissern Sie sich, dass sie
keine Falten oder Knickstellen hat,
insbesondere am Anschluss zu
den Motoren. Setzen Sie die
Trockenhaube auf den Kopf,
bevor Sie die Motoren einschalten.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die
Motoren frei herunterhängen und
der Anschluss zur Haube nicht
verdreht ist.
Legen Sie die Haube um den
Nacken (b) und setzen Sie sie
dann auf den Kopf (c).
Anwendung
Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem
Schalter 3ein und wählen Sie die
Temperaturstufe, die Ihnen am
angenehmsten erscheint (d).

Wichtig
Die Trockenhaube beim ersten
Gebrauch erst dann auf Höchst-
stufe schalten, wenn sie voll auf-
geblasen ist.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Luft-
Ansaugöffnungen nicht mit Haaren
verdeckt sind.
Abkühlstufe
Wenn Ihr Haar trocken ist, schalten
Sie die Abkühlstufe ein und lassen
Sie kühle Luft etwa 1–2 Minuten auf
die heißen, eingedrehten Locken
einwirken. Das gibt mehr Fülle und
Spannkraft und macht die Frisur
länger haltbar.
Aufbewahrung, Reinigung
Nach Gebrauch und vor dem
Reinigen bitte stets den Netzstecker
ziehen. Zur Aufbewahrung stecken
Sie die beiden Motoren 2wieder
zusammen und wickeln die Haube
um die Motoren, nachdem das
ganze Gerät abgekühlt ist.
Motoren und Haube wischen Sie
bitte nur mit einem feuchten Tuch
ab. Niemals unter fließendes
Wasser halten oder ins Wasser
tauchen.

Dieses Gerät darf am Ende
seiner Lebensdauer nicht
mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt

Even switched off the appliance
presents a hazard when near

• For additional protection, it is
advisable to install a residual

current device (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA in the electrical
circuit of your bathroom.
Ask your installer for advice.
• Care should be taken not to block
the inlet and outlet grill when
the appliance is switched on.
If either grill becomes blocked,
the appliance will automatically
cut out. After cooling for a few
minutes, it will switch back on
automatically.
• Do not wrap the mains cord
around the appliance. Regularly
check the mains cord for wear or
damage. The mains cord of the
appliance may only be replaced
by an authorised Braun Service
Centre. Unqualified repair work
can lead to extreme hazards for
the user.
• This appliance is not intended
for use by children or persons
with reduced physical or mental
capabilities, unless they are given
supervision by a person respon-
sible for their safety. In general,
we recommend that you keep
the appliance out of reach of
children.
• Users of cardiac pacemakers (or
defibrillators) should consult their
doctor before using this hood.
As a precaution, we recommend
not using the hood, if the hood's
motor unit may be placed close to
the pacemaker (or defibrillator).

Before use
Separate the two motors 2by
simply sliding one of the motors
upward (a).
Important: Open out the hood fully,
ensuring that there are no folds or
creases in the plastic, particularly in
the area where the hood is attached
to the motors. Place hood on head
before switching on. Also ensure
that the motors are hanging cor-
rectly and not twisted.
Lay the hood around your neck (b),
then pull it over your head (c).
Using the appliance
Turn the appliance on with the
switch 3and select the tempera-
ture you find most comfortable (d).

= strong heat
= moderate heat
= gentle heat
= cool curl setting for long
lasting curls
= off
Important
When using the hood for the first
time, do not switch to the high
setting until the hood has been
completely inflated.
It is very important not to let hair
cover the intake vents.
Cool curl setting
When your hair is dry, switch to the
cool curl setting and let cool air
blow on the hot curls for another
1-2 minutes. This will give them
more body and bounce and makes
your style last longer.
Storage, cleaning
After use, and before each cleaning,
always unplug the appliance. For
easy storage, attach both motors 2
together and wrap the hood around
them after the appliance has cooled
off. Wipe the motors 2and the
hood 1with a damp cloth only,
never immerse into or hold under
running water.

minutes et il se remettra en
marche automatiquement.
• Ne pas enrouler le cordon autour
de l’appareil. Vérifiez régulière-
ment que le cordon n’est ni usé
ni endommagé. Seul un centre-
service agréé Braun est habilité
à remplacer le cordon de l’appa-
reil. Une réparation effectuée
par une personne non qualifiée
peut entrainer de graves dangers
pour l’utilisateur.
• Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à
des enfants ou à des personnes
aux capacités mentales et phy-
siques réduites à moins qu’el-
les ne soient sous la surveillance
d’un adulte responsable de leur
