Operating Mirror
Remove Demo Tab
The mirror is equipped with a “demo mode” feature. Before using the mirror,
pull out the plastic demo tab located on the back of the battery box and
discard it for normal operation.
Important: The mirror includes 3 “AA” batteries for in-store demonstration
only. Battery life may be impaired. Replace mirror batteries with 3 new “AA”
alkaline batteries (not included ) for normal use. Remote requires 1 “CR2032”
coin cell battery (not included).
1. Press button on front of mirror. Power indicator light will appear. The
button on the front of the mirror must be pressed in order to operate
remote control and mirror features.
2. Press desired mode on remote control:
Soothing Mode
a. Press button on remote once to activate soothing mode. Press again
to stop.
NOTE: Soothing mode stops automatically after approximately 12 minutes.
Press button again to restart.
Entertainment Mode
b. Press button on remote once to activate entertainment mode. Press
again to stop.
NOTE: Entertainment mode stops automatically after approximately 12
minutes. Press button again to restart.
Important: For optimum performance, ensure the remote has an unobstructed
visual path to the mirror.

Auto Shut-Off Battery Conservation
To help conserve battery life, the mirror automatically shuts off after 1 hour of
inactivity. The power indicator light will turn off and mirror cannot be activated
by the remote during this time. To reactivate, press button on mirror. Power
indicator light will appear.
Manual Shut-Off
Press and hold button for 3 seconds. Power indicator light will turn off.

Important:If the mirror does not respond to the remote, it does not necessarily
mean that the battery power in the remote is low. Check the orientation of the
batteries in the battery compartments to make sure they are properly installed.
Remote:
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment
door with a Phillips head screwdriver. Remove
the battery compartment door.
•Correctly insert 1 “CR2032”coin cell battery with
the polarity shown in battery compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment door and
tighten the screw with a Phillips head
screwdriver. Do not overtighten.

Mirror:

Hint: Remove the mirror from the seat back prior to replacing the batteries.

Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips
head screwdriver. Do not overtighten.
Important: Under normal use conditions, the batteries in the mirror will
require replacement more often than the battery in the remote. When the
mirror’s music becomes faint, it’s time to replace the batteries in the mirror.

In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical
burn injury or ruin the remote or the mirror. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated in battery compartments.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted
batteries from the remote and mirror. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not
dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the remote and mirror before charging.
• If rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under
adult supervision.

Important Safety Precautions:
Keep mirror out of baby’s reach and direct sunlight. Always carefully follow
car seat manufacturer’s directions for correct installation and position of a
child safety seat.
To Clean:
Wipe the mirror with a soft, damp cloth. Fabric is surface washable with a
damp cloth and mild soapy water. Do not submerse mirror in water.
CAUTION
Always verify that the mirror is properly secured on the seat
back, head restraint or tether anchor. Check frequently.

Prevent strangulation or entanglement. Never place or
attach to a crib. Never add strings or ties to the product.

Back Seat Head Restraint
• Raise head restraint.
• Insert clamp underneath head restraint.
• Wrap adjustable stand over top of head restraint.
• Bend clamp upward to conform to head restraint.
• Attach strap’s clip to D-Ring.
• Lower head restraint down to secure in place.
• Tighten strap and rotate mirror to desired angle so your child is visible to driver
in vehicle’s rear-view mirror.

Attaching Mirror
Tether Anchor
IMPORTANT: DO NOT ATTACH THIS PRODUCT TO YOUR VEHICLE’S TETHER ANCHOR
IF YOUR CHILD SAFETY SEAT IS INSTALLED IN YOUR VEHICLE USING THIS ANCHOR.
• Position mirror on seat back in front of tether anchor.
• Insert clamp between seat back and rear deck of your vehicle.
• Bend clamp to conform to seat back shape.
• Attach clip to tether anchor and tighten strap.
• Unfasten adjustable stand’s fastener and tilt mirror to desired angle so your
child is visible to driver in vehicle’s rear-view mirror.
NOTE: The tether anchor attachment method is designed for sedan vehicles. If you own a
minivan, station wagon or sport utility vehicle (SUV) and would like to use the tether anchor

• Squeeze clamp firmly to secure mirror in place.
• Unfasten adjustable stand’s fastener, and tilt mirror to desired angle so your child is
visible to driver in vehicle’s rear-view mirror.

to tether anchor and tighten strap. This will help increase the stability of mirror. If you own

• Raise head restraint up.

NOTE: This method is used for mounting mirror to back side of driver or front passenger
seat for entertaining forward-facing children.
