– Um Beschädigungen am Gestrick der Bandage zu vermeiden, das
Stabilo-Band erst nach erfolgreicher Größenbestimmung und Anprobe
anbringen. Durch Klettverschluss beschädigte Ware kann nicht zurück-
genommen werden.
Anziehanleitung
Legen Sie die Bandage an das betroffene Handgelenk an und führen Sie
dabei den Daumen durch die vorgesehene Daumenöffnung. Die Kunst-
stoff-Schiene verläuft auf der Handinnenseite. Das beiliegende Stabilo-
Flauschband kann individuell dosiert angelegt werden. Dazu befestigen
Sie das Stabilo-Flauschband mit dem schmalen Klett an dem dafür vor-
gesehenen Velours an der Bandage. Das Stabilo-Flauschband kann nun
zirkulär um das Handgelenk gewickelt werden.
Bei Bedarf kann das Material der Kunststoff-Schiene durch den Orthopädie-
Techniker bei einer Temperatur von ca. 180 °C individuell angepasst
werden. Die nachgeformte Schiene abkühlen lassen und anschließend
wieder in die Schienentasche der Bandage schieben.
Ablegen
Zum Ablegen der Bandage lockern Sie bitte das Stabilo-Flauschband.
Fassen Sie nun die Schiene an der Handfläche und ziehen Sie die Bandage
über die Finger ab. Schließen Sie den Klettverschluss um einen frühzeitigen
Verschleiß der Klettfläche zu vermeiden.

Polyamid (PA), Elastodien/Latex (LA), Elasthan (EL)
Die genaue Materialzusammensetzung entnehmen Sie bitte dem einge-
nähten Textiletikett.
Das Produkt enthält Latex und kann
allergische Reaktionen auslösen.

die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch. Bei Fragen wenden
Sie sich an Ihren Arzt oder Fachhandel von dem Sie dieses Medizinprodukt
erhalten haben.
Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um eine Handgelenk-
Kompressionsbandage zur Weichteilkompression mit lokaler Druckpelotte
und einer Verstärkungsschiene.
Indikationen
Chronische, posttraumatische oder postoperative Reizzustände im Bereich
des Handgelenks, z. B. Distorsion, Handwurzelarthrose, Tendovaginitis.
Kontraindikationen
Periphere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit (PAVK), Lymphabflussstörungen
auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern des angelegten Hilfsmit-
tels, Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der versorgten Körperre-
gion, Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten Körperabschnitt, Latexallergie.
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt.
Sprechen Sie Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden Arzt ab.
Die Auswahl der geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das
Fachpersonal, von dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– Medizinprodukt vor radiologischen Untersuchungen ablegen
– bei längeren Ruhephasen ablegen z. B. beim Schlafen
– bei Taubheitsgefühl Medizinprodukt lockern und ggf. abnehmen
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden den Arzt oder Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen

Reinigungshinweise

Kunststoff-Schiene vor dem Waschen herausnehmen. Klettverschluss
schließen, um Beschädigung anderer Wäschestücke zu vermeiden. Keinen
Weichspüler verwenden. In Form ziehen und an der Luft trocknen.

Landes, in dem Sie das Produkt bezogen haben. Bitte wenden Sie sich
an Ihren Fachhandel, sollten Sie einen Gewährleistungsfall vermuten.
Bitte das Produkt vor Einreichung eines Gewährleistungsfalles reinigen.
Wurden beiliegende Hinweise der Gebrauchsanweisung nicht ausrei-
chend beachtet, so kann die Gewährleistung beeinträchtigt werden
bzw. entfallen. Ausgeschlossen ist eine Gewährleistung bei nicht indi-
kationsgerechter Anwendung, Nichtbeachtung der Anwendungsrisiken,

Nutzungsdauer / Lebensdauer des Produkts
Die Lebensdauer des Medizinprodukts wird durch den natürlichen
Verschleiß bei sach- und anwendungsgemäßem Umgang bestimmt.
Meldepflicht
Kommt es bei der Anwendung des Medizinproduktes zu einer schwerwie-
genden Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustandes, dann melden Sie
dies Ihrem Fachhändler oder dem Hersteller sowie dem BfArM (Bundes-

the existing instructions for use carefully. If you have any questions,

purchased this medical device.
Intended purpose
This medical device is a wrist compression support for the compression
of soft tissue with a local pressure pad and a reinforcement splint.
Indications
Chronic, post-traumatic or post-operative irritations in the wrist area,
e.g. distortion, carpal arthrosis, tenosynovitis.
Contraindications
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymph drainage disorders,
also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the aid positioned, sensory
and circulatory disorders with the region of the body treated, skin
diseases in the part of the body treated, latex allergy.
Application risks/Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use and
duration with your treating physician. The expert staff from whom you
have received the medical device will select the appropriate size and
instruct you regarding its use.
– remove the medical device prior to radiological examinations
– remove it during longer periods of rest, e.g. when sleeping
– in case of numbness, loosen the medical device and remove it if
necessary
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist
retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your
physician
– do not make any changes to the product
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used

– no re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient
– whilst wearing the support, please neither use any creams nor
ointments on or around it as they can destroy the material
– in order to avoid damages to the knitted support fabric, only attach
the Stabilo strap after successfully determining the size and trial
fitting. Goods damaged by the Velcro fastening cannot be returned.
Fitting instructions
Place the support on the metacarpophalangeal joint affected and guide
the thumb through the intended thumb opening at the same time. The
plastic splint runs along the surface of the palm. The Stabilo fleece strap
included can be fitted individually dosed. For this, attach the Stabilo
fleece strap to the velour on the support intended for this purpose using
the narrow Velcro strip. The Stabilo fleece strap can then be twisted
around the wrist circumferentially.
If required, the plastic splint material can be individually adapted by an
orthopaedic technician at a temperature of approx. 180°C. Let the
reshaped splint cool down and then re-insert it into the support splint
bag.
Removal
To remove the support, please loosen the Stabilo fleece strap. Grasp the
splint in the palm area and pull the support off over the fingers. Close
the Velcro fastener in order to avoid early wear to the Velcro surface.

The product contains latex
and can trigger allergic reactions.

Useful life/Lifetime of the product
The lifetime of the medical device is determined by its natural wear and
tear if treated appropriately and as recommended.

If a serious worsening of the state of health occurs when using the
medical device, you are obliged to notify the specialist dealer or the
manufacturer and the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory
Agency (MHRA).
