Makesurethebatteriesareinsertedwiththe”+"and”—"endsalignedas
indicatedinthebatterycompartment.
(3)Replacethebatterycompartmentcover.
NOTE1:Whenthebatteriesbecomeweak,the"BATTERY”indicationwill
lightup.Whenthishappensreplaceallfourbatterieswithnew
ones.
NOTE2:Turnoffthepowerswitchwhentheunitisnotbeingused.If
theunitisnottobeusedforanextendedlengthoftime,ifmemory
backupisnotnecessary,oriftheACadaptoristobeusedfor
anextendedlengthoftime,removethebatteriestoavoidthe
chanceoffluidleakage.[Beawarethatevencommercially

ConnecttheACadaptortotheDC6Vjackonthisprinter,andthenplugthe
adaptorcordintoawalloutlet.
NOTE1:BesuretousetheACadaptordesignedfortheprinter.
NOTE2:Thebatterieswillbeautomatically
disconnectedfromthepower
supplycircuitwhentheACadaptorisconnected.

TurnthepowerswitchON.Thecarrierwillmovetotheextremeleftside
andthenautomaticallymovetotheleftmarginsetting.
NOTE:Theautomaticpower-offfunctionwillactivateandturntheprinter
