ELI 280 Quick Reference Guide –Modality Worklist (Orders)
1. Press power button to turn unit on
2. Enter your user name, or select from drop-down list if you recently signed in
3. Enter your password and select
Successful sign-in will take you to the real-time ECG display
4. Prep patient skin (clip hair, clean, & abrade)
5. Place electrodes on patient and connect lead wires
6. If using the Wireless Acquisition Module (WAM), turn on
7. Select , then select button
8. Set Query Code to _____________ in the drop down menu
9. Select , wait for the action to complete, then select Done
10. Select the correct patient, enter technician information (if applicable)
11. Press to display the real-time ECG
12. Acquire an ECG by selecting button
To save and send ECG
1. Select to transmit ECG
2. Ensure you see the message
“1/1 ECG(s) Transmitted” then select Done
3. Select to save the ECG and
return to real-time display
To delete and acquire new ECG
1. Select
2. When prompted to “Erase ECG?” select YES
3. Acquire an ECG by selecting
4. Select to transmit ECG
5. Ensure you see the message
“1/1 ECG(s) Transmitted” then select Done
6. Select to save the ECG and return
to real-time display

1. Press power button to turn unit on
2. Enter your user name, or select from drop-down list if you recently signed in
3. Enter your password and select

8. Manually enter all demographic information available. Fields that are yellow must
be completed before the ECG can transmit.
9. Press to display the real-time ECG
10. Acquire an ECG by selecting button
To print, save, or send ECG
1. To print the ECG select
2. Select button to send ECG
3. Ensure you see the message
“1/1 ECG(s) Transmitted” then select Done
4. Select to save the ECG and
return to real-time display

*Use only if user does not have sign-in or a STAT ECG is needed. Guest access is limited.
1. Press power button to turn unit on
2. Select to immediately enter real-time ECG display
3. Prep patient skin (clip hair, clean, & abrade)
4. Place electrodes on patient and connect lead wires
5. If using the Wireless Acquisition Module (WAM), turn on
6. Select button
7. Manually enter all demographic information available. Fields that are yellow must
be completed before the ECG can transmit.
8. Press to display the real-time ECG
9. Acquire an ECG by selecting button
