INTRODUCTION
Your Bushnell® Pro X is an advanced premium laser rangender comprised of Digital Technology and turbo
processors allowing range readings from – yards / – meters, and combines the best of a premium compact
monocular with the new Dual Display Technology™. Measuring . x  x  inches, the -ounce Pro X with nd
Generation E.S.P.™ (Extreme. Speed. Precision.) delivers extremely fast acquisition and incredible ½ Yard accuracy

HOW OUR DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY WORKS
e Pro X emits invisible, eye safe, infrared energy pulses. e Pro X Advanced Digital microprocessor and ASIC
chip (Application-Specic Integrated Circuit) results in instantaneous and accurate readings every time. Sophisticated
digital technology instantaneously calculates distances by measuring the time it takes for each pulse to travel from the
rangender, to the target, and back.
RANGING ACCURACY
e ranging accuracy of the Pro X is plus or minus one yard / meter under most circumstances. e maximum range
of the instrument depends on the reectivity of the target. e maximum distance for most objects is  yards / 
meters while for highly reective objects the maximum is  yards /  meters.
Note: You will get both longer and shorter maximum distances depending on the reflective properties of the particular target and the environmental
conditions at the time the distance of an object is being measured. The color, surface finish, size and shape of the target all affect reflectivity and range.
The brighter the color, the longer the range. Red is highly reflective, for example, and allows longer ranges than the color black, which is the least reflective
color. A shiny finish provides more range than a dull one. A small target is more difficult to range than a larger target. The angle to the target also has
an effect. Shooting to a target at a  degree angle (where the target surface is perpendicular to the flight path of the emitted energy pulses) provides
good range while a steep angle on the other hand, provides limited ranging. In addition, lighting conditions (e.g. the amount of sunlight) will affect the
ranging capabilities of the unit. The less light (e.g. overcast skies) the farther the unit’s maximum range will be. Conversely, very sunny days will decrease
the unit’s maximum range.
E.S.P.2™ (Extreme. Speed. Precision. 2nd generation), our advanced second generation ranging technology, provides the fastest, most accurate
ranging measurement based on target conditions. The laser analyzes multiple individual measurements to the target and calculates and displays the best
possible result. Target variations such as reflectance, shape and color can affect the accuracy of a laser measurement, but E.S.P.™ automatically assesses
the conditions and improves the measurement up to / Yard Accuracy whenever possible from – yards. When this occurs, display readout precision will
be refined to /th yard. For those who prefer their distances displayed in whole units (full yard or meters), E.S.P.™ can be disabled in the Setup Menu.

GETTING STARTED
OPERATIONAL SUMMARY
While looking through the Pro X, depress the power button once to activate the display. Place the aiming circle
(located in the center of the eld of view) upon a target at least  yards away, depress and hold the power button down
until the range reading is displayed near the bottom of the in-view display. Crosshairs surrounding the aiming circle
indicate that the laser is being transmitted. Once a range has been acquired, you can release the power button. e
crosshairs surrounding the aiming circle will disappear once the power button has been released (i.e. the laser is no
longer being transmitted).
Note: Once activated, the display will remain active and display the last distance measurement for  seconds. You can depress the power button again at
any time to distance to a new target. As with any laser device, it is not recommended to directly view the emissions for long periods of time with magnified
lenses. The maximum time the laser is transmitted (fired) is  seconds. To re-fire, press the button down again.
ADJUSTING THE EYEPIECE
e Pro X is equipped with an adjustable eyepiece (+/-  Diopter Adjustment) that allows you to focus the display
relative to the image. Simply rotate the eyepiece until the display is in focus.
DUAL DISPLAY (SELECTING RED OR BLACK DISPLAY)
e Pro X features Dual Display Technology, which lets you easily toggle between a
bright red display featuring VDT (Vivid Display Technology) or a crisp black display,
based on lighting conditions or your preference. To toggle between red and black displays,
briey press and release the round “B” logo plate on the left side of the unit.

SLOPE-SWITCH TECHNOLOGY
Slope-Switch Technology lets the golfer easily turn Bushnell’s patented Slope function on and o. is allows the
golfer to conveniently utilize Slope to get compensated distances around the course when they want it and have a
USGA conforming device that is legal for tournament play when they need it.

INSERTING THE BATTERY
Remove the Posi-read™ battery door by lifting the battery door tab and then rotating counter clockwise.
Insert a CR2 3-volt lithium battery into the compartment negative end rst, then replace the Posi-read™
battery door.
Note: It is recommended that the battery be replaced at least once every 6 months.
ACTIVE LASER
Crosshairs surrounding the aiming circle indicate that the laser is being transmitted. Once a range has been acquired,
you can release the power button. e crosshairs surrounding the circle will disappear once the power button has been
released (i.e. the laser is no longer being transmitted).
PINSEEKER™WITH JOLT®
Ever have trouble getting distance to the ag? is advanced mode allows easy acquisition of the ag without
inadvertently getting distances to background targets (i.e. trees) that have stronger signal strength.
For ease of use, the device will always be in PinSeeker™Mode.
To use, align the aiming circle reticle onto the ag that you want distance to. Next, press and hold the power button
and move the laser slowly over the ag or desired object until a circle surrounds the ag indicator. If the laser beam
recognized more than one object (i.e. ag and background trees), distance of the ag will be displayed and a circle will
surround the PinSeeker™ indicator informing the user that distance to the ag (i.e. closer object) is being displayed.
e Jolt Technology provides two short bursts of vibration to conrm that the distance displayed is to the ag. ere
may be times when only the laser beam only sees one object in its path. In this case, the distance will be displayed, but
because more than one object was not acquired, a circle will not surround the ag indicator.
Tip: While pressing the Power button, you can move the device slowly from object to object and intentionally force the laser to hit multiple objects to ensure that
you are only displaying the closest of the objects recognized by the laser. Once the device has shut off, the unit will always default back to the last mode used.

PINSEEKER™WITH SLOPE +/-™
When slope is enabled by sliding the slope switch on the side of the unit up
until “SLOPE” is visible, Bushnell’s patented Slope Technology is displayed.
e Slope +/- mode will automatically compute an angle compensated range
based upon distance and slope angle determined by the laser rangender and
built-in inclinometer. is data is then combined with internal algorithmic
formulas dealing with average club use and ball trajectories. e angle
compensated range provides direction on how to play the shot (i.e. add
distance if an incline, subtract distance if a decline). Slide the slope switch
back down out of slope mode, and your Pro X now conforms to USGA Rule
-, with the slope angle compensated ranging feature removed.
HOW TO USE SLOPE +/-™
Once in this mode, you will see a “ - - - ” in the eld of view informing you that you are in the Slope +/- Mode. Press
the Power button to obtain distance to the ag or other objects. Once the range is displayed, release the Power button.
Once you have released the power button, a degree of angle and compensated range will be displayed beneath the
standard distance.
In the example on the next page, the true distance is  yards, slope is + degrees,
and the compensated (“play-as”) range is  yards. e display would show this:

THE ADVANTAGE OF SLOPE +/-™
e distance to ag A in the drawing below is  yards. It is also  yards to ag B although it is on a slope. However, if you
were to play this hole as  yards, the ball (X) would fall short of the hole/ag because you did not take slope into account.
DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS (V.D.T.)
e Pro X has Vivid Display Technology. is bright red LED display dramatically improves contrast, clarity, and
light transmission while increasing brightness of the digital readout, making distance readings legible in low light
environments. ere are four intensity settings to choose from and this is the rst setting within the SETUP menu.
Hold the Mode button (“B” logo on side of device) for  seconds to get into the SETUP menu. e existing brightness
setting will be ashing (i.e. BRT1, BRT2, BRT3, or BRT4). Pressing the Mode (“B” logo) button will toggle between
the four brightness settings. “BRT1” is the lowest intensity while “BRT4” is the brightest. Simply press the Mode
button until the desired brightness setting is displayed, then press and release the Power button to save the setting.

UNIT OF MEASURE OPTIONS
e Pro X can be used to measure distances in yards or meters. e
unit of measure indicators are located in the lower right portion of
the display. ere are two measuring settings to choose from and this
is the second setting within the SETUP menu. Look through the
eyepiece, depress the Mode button (“B” logo) and hold it down for
approximately  seconds to get into the SETUP menu. Brief presses
of the Mode button will toggle through the brightness settings if
the bright red LED display is selected. Press the Power button to go
to the Unit of Measure options, and again briey press the Mode
button to select your preference. A change in unit of measure will be
indicated by the illumination of the Mfor meter indicator while the
Yfor Yard indicator is turned o. If you are changing from meters to
yards, the opposite will occur. e Pro X will return to the last unit
of measure setting used each time the unit is turned on.
E.S.P.2™ ON/OFF
e Pro X distance readout to a tenth of a yard/meter (E.S.P. feature) can be enabled/disabled per user preference.
With “ESP O” selected (E.S.P. disabled), distances will be indicated only in whole yards/meters. With“ESP On”
selected (E.S.P. enabled), distances will be indicated to a tenth of a yard/meter.

CLEANING
Gently blow away any dust or debris on the lenses (or use a soft lens brush). To remove dirt or ngerprints, clean with a soft
cotton cloth, rubbing in a circular motion. Use of a coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface and
eventually cause permanent damage. For a more thorough cleaning, photographic lens tissue and photographic-type lens
cleaning uid or isopropyl alcohol may be used. Always apply the uid to the cleaning cloth – never directly on the lens.

Your Bushnell® laser rangender is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for two years after the date of purchase. In the event of a

TROUBLE SHOOTING TABLE
If unit does not turn on / display does not illuminate :
• Depress power button.
• Check and if necessary, replace battery. If unit does not respond to key presses, replace the battery with a good
quality CR -volt Lithium battery.
• Ensure the display is on the brightest setting while in sunlight. While pressing Power Button, cover the objective
lenses to determine if the display is on. See the display brightness setting instructions (pg. 9).
If unit powers down (display goes blank when attempting to power the laser) :
• e battery is either weak or low quality. Replace the battery with a good quality CR -volt Lithium battery.
If target range cannot be obtained :
• Make sure display is illuminated.
• Make sure that the power button is being depressed.
• Make sure that nothing, such as your hand or nger, is blocking the objective lenses (lenses closest to the target)
that emit and receive the laser pulses.
• Make sure unit is held steady while depressing power button.
Note: The last range reading does not need to be cleared before ranging another target. Simply aim at the new target using the reticle, depress the power
button and hold until new range reading is displayed. Specifications, instructions, and the operation of these products are subject to change without notice.

デジタル技術
Pro X は、目に安全な赤外線レーザーを使用しています。 Pro X Advanced Digital マイクロプロセッサー
とASIC チップ ( アプリケーション指定の集積回路 ) は、いつでも迅速で正確な計測を可能にします。
高度なデジタル技術を使って、距離計本体から発せられたレーザーが目標物に反射し、戻ってくる
までにかかる時間を測定し距離を算出します。
距離計測の正確性
Pro X の距離計測の誤差は、ほとんどの場合、±  ヤードです。装置の最大距離計測は、目標物の反
射性によって異なります。多くの目標物の最大測定可能距離は  ヤードですが、
反射性の高い物
の場合は  ヤード です。
注意
:
測定可能最大／最小距離は、目標物の反射性や測定時の環境によって異なります。目標物の色、表面仕上げ、
サイズや形状はすべて、距離測定に影響します。色が鮮明なほど、測定可能最大距離が長くなります。例えば、赤
は反射性が高く、反射性が最も低い黒より、長くなります。光沢のあるものは、光沢のないものよりも測定可能最
大距離が長くなります。小さなターゲットは、大きなターゲットよりも距離を測定するのが困難です。ターゲット
の角度もまた影響します。目標の表面にレーザーが垂直にあたるような場合には高い精度が得られますが、急角度
の場合は精度が落ちます。明るさ、日光の量なども、精度に影響します。光が少ない
（雲りの場合） ほど、測定可能
最大距離も長くなります。逆に、晴天の日ほど、測定可能最大距離が短くなります。

はじめに
操作方法概要
電源ボタンを押すと本体が起動します。少なくも５ヤード先の目標物にサークル照準を定め（ディ
スプレイ中央）、距離がディスプレイの下に表示されるまで電源ボタンを押し続けます。サークル照
準を囲む十字線はレーザーが出ている事を示してます。距離が表示されたら、電源ボタンを離します。
照準サークル周辺の十字線は、電源ボタンを離すと消えます（レーザーは出ていません）。
注意
:
一度起動すると、
LCD
は起動したままとなり、最新の測定距離が

秒間表示されます。電源ボタンを再び押すと、
新しい目標物の距離を測定できます。アイセーフレーザーを使用していますが、近距離で直接レーザー口を覗くこ

接眼レンズの調整

Pro X は、デュアル ディスプレイ技術により、周囲の明るさやユーザー設定
に基づいて、VDT 技術搭載のハイコントラストな赤色表示と鮮明な黒色表示
を切り替えることができます。赤と黒を切り替えるには、装置の左側にある
「B」ロゴボタンを押してください。

スロープスイッチ テクノロジー
スロープ機能はボタン操作で簡単にオン／オフが切り替えられます。 それにより、必要なときには
スロープ機能を使い補正距離測定し、トーナメントではスロープ機能を切って USGA 適合デバイス
に切り替えることができます。

レーザーの稼働
サークル照準を囲む十字線はレーザーが出ている事を示してます。距離が表示されたら、電源ボタ
ンを離します。照準周辺の十字線は、電源ボタンを離すと消えます（レーザーは出ていません）。
PINSEEKER™JOLT 付き ®
フラグの距離計測がうまくいかない事がありますか最先端機能の（ピンシーカー）モードは、背景
（樹木等）の誤測定を防ぎフラグまでの距離を正確に計測します。
使い方はいたって簡単です

モード。
使用するには、照準サークルを、計測したいフラグに合わせます。その後、電源 /発射 ボタンを長
押ししながら、ディスプレイ上のフラグアイコンの周りにサークルが表示されるまで、目標物付近
をゆっくり動かして下さい。レーザーが つ以上の目標物を認識している場合 （ピンと背景の木等）、
ピンまでの距離が表示されます。（ユーザーから一番近い物体までの距離を測定しています。）その
際に、LCD 上のピンアイコンの周りにサークルが表示されます。ピンまでの距離が計測できた場合
には、JOLT （ジョルト）機能が発動し、短いバイブレーションでお知らせします。レーザーが計測
範囲内に つの物体しか認識していない場合には時間がかかる場合もあります。この場合、距離は表
示されますが、つ以上の物体が得られていないため、LCD 上のピンアイコンの周りにサークルは表
示されません。
ヒント
:
電源／発射 ボタンを押したまま、物体から物体までゆっくりと動かし、意図的に複数の目標物までの距離
を測定することにより、至近距離にある物体までの距離が計測できていることを確認できます。電源を切っても、
最後に使用したモードをデフォルトとして維持します。

PINSEEKER™とスロープ +/-™
スロープスイッチを「SLOPE」と表示されるまでスライドしてス
ロープを起動すると、Bushnell の特許取得済スロープ技術が表示
されます。スロープ +/- モードは、目標物までの直線距離と勾配
角度から、勾配を考慮に入れた距離を自動で算出し、推奨ショッ
ト距離を算出し表示します。このデータは一般的に使用されるク
ラブとボールの軌道を考慮に入れた、内部アルゴリズム計算式か
ら導き出されています。角度補正範囲は、ショットの推奨距離に
なります。(つまり、上げ勾配の場合には、実際の距離より長く
なり、下げ勾配の場合は、実際の距離より短くなります )。スロー
プスイッチをスロープモードからスライドダウンすると、Pro X はスロープ角度補正範囲機能を解除
しUSGA Rule - になります。
スロープ +/-™の使用方法
このモードになると、「 - - - 」Slope +/- モードであることが表示されます。電源ボタンを押すと、
フラグや他の物体までの距離が得られます。距離が表示されたら、電源ボタンを離します。電源ボタ
ンを放すと、標準の計測距離の下に、勾配角度と推奨距離が表示されま
す( 下図参照 )。
次のページの例の通り、実際の距離は  ヤード、スロープは + 度、
および補整した (“play-as”) 距離は  ヤードです。画面には次のように表
示されます。
