For audio connectivity you can use USB sync cable that came with your Apple device.
For video or photo playback you’ll need to use the included 30 pin Dock connector to USB and 3,5mm Jack connector combi plug.
(Which can be connected to the input on the rear of the unit,as shown in the illustration below)

Power On/O
Turn on: Press any button except on the front panel.
Or press [POWER] key on the remote control.
Turn o: When on, press and hold [ MUTE / ] knob on the panel.

Open SOURCE Menu
Press the [MENU] key on the front panel or touch the top
left corner of the screen to open the SOURCE menu.
Playing Source Selection
Open the SOURCE menu, and touch the desired source,
Notes:
Playing source selection means selecting work mode, such as DVD mode, Radio mode, Camera
mode, etc.
Basic operations
Set Date /Time
1. Touch [Settings].
2. Touch [Time].
The date/time setup menu is displayed.
Set date
1. Touch [Date] on the screen .
A submenu is displayed.
2. Touch or to set year, month and day.
3. Touch blank area to close the submenu.
Set clock mode
1. Touch [Clock mode] repeatedly to choose [12Hr] or [24Hr] .
Set time
1. Touch [Time].
2. Touch the time on the screen to show submenu.
3. Touch or to set hour and minute.
4. Touch blank area to close the submenu.
Tip:
When date/time is set, touch the upper left corner of screen to exit
the Settings menu.

Select radio as playing source
Press [RADIO] button on the front panel or touch [Radio] on the SOURCE menu.
Select one radio band
Press the [RADIO] button on the front panel or touch the [ ] icon
on the user interface to select one radio band among FM1, FM2,
FM3, AM1 and AM2.
Tune
Auto tuning
Hold [ ] / [ ] icon on the user interface more than 2 seconds to
seek a lower / higher station.
To stop searching, repeat the operation above or press other keys
having radio functions.
Note:
When a station is received, searching stops and the station is played.
Manual tuning
Method 1:
During manual tuning, the frequency will be changed in steps.
Rotate the [TUNE] knob on the front panel or touch the
[ ] / [ ] icon on the user interface to tune in a lower/higher
station.
Method 2:
1. Touch the numeric keypad icon [ ]. Numeric keyboard
is displayed, touch number to input frequency.
2. Touch [ ] to delete a inputted number.
3. Touch [ C ] to clear all of the inputted numbers.
4. Touch [ ] to enter.
5. Touch [ X ] to exit the keyboard menu.
Preset station
The unit has 5 bands, such as FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2, and Each band can store 6 stations;
hence the unit can store 30 stations in total.

Manual store
1. Tune to a station.
2. Touch [ ].
3. Touch one of the channels P1 to P6 to save the selected band.
Tune to a preset station
1. Select a band.
2. Touch one of the preset channels (1 to 6) on the upper side of the screen.

Local Seeking
Touch the [LOC] icon on the top bar of the screen to choose the Radio Local on or o.
EQ Selection
Touch the [ ] icon on the top right of the screen to enter the Equalizer menu.
RDS Basics
RDS service availability varies with areas. Please understand if RDS service is not available in
your area, the following service is not available.
AF Mode
AF (Alternative Frequency): When the radio signal strength is poor, enabling the AF function will
the current station but with stronger signal strength.
Touch [AF] on the top bar to turn on/o AF function.
AF turns green: AF function is activated.
TA Mode
Touch [TA] on the top bar to turn on/o TA function.
When TA mode is turned on, the TA indicator will turns green.
When trac announcement is received, the unit will temporarily switch to the tuner mode
(regardless of the current mode) and begin broadcasting the announcement at TA volume level.
EON default is on.
Adjust RDS Settings
1. In Radio menu, touch [ ].
The option menu appears.
2. Touch an option to change the setting.
∙ [RDS]: to turn on or o “RDS” function.
∙ [CT]: to turn on or o “Clock Time” synchronization function.
∙ [TA VOL]: Touch [ ] or [
volume.
∙ [PTY List]: to set paring code.

Load Disc
You can play video, audio or images stored on the following discs:
•DVD Video, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW
•VCD
•Audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW
Note:
Ensure that the disc contains playable content.
Eject the Disc
Press the [ ] key on the front panel or remote control to eject the disc. When the disc is ejected,
the unit switches to the previous source.
Touch Screen Controls
The touch key areas for DVD playback are outlined below:

Connect USB/iPod Device
1. Open the USB door.
2. Insert the small end of the supplied USB/iPod cable to the
USB socket, then connect the other end of the cable to your
USB/iPod device.
* You can also connect the USB/iPod to the rear USB port.
Remove the USB/iPod Device
1. Select other source on the main menu.
2. Remove the USB/iPod device.
Insert SD/MMC Card
1. Open SD card cover.
2. Insert the SD/MMC card into the SD/MMC card slot.
Play starts automatically.
Remove the SD/MMC Card
1. Select other source on the main menu.
2. Press the card until you hear a click sound.
3. Remove the card.

For DVD, if a menu appears, press [ ] to start play.

Fast Forward/Backward

Repeat A-B
1. Touch bottom half of the screen to display control menu, if necessary.

Select Audio Mode
When you play VCDs, you can select an audio mode (R/L/Stereo).

Select Subtitle Language
For DVD that contain two or more subtitle languages.

The selected language is displayed.
Tip
You may also press SUBTITLE on the remote control repeatedly to
select subtitle language.
Change View Angle
Some DVDs contain alternate scenes,such as scenes recorded from dierent
camera angles. For such DVDs, you can select from the available alternate scenes.
1. During play, touch bottom half of t he screen to display menu on the screen, if necessary.
2. Press [ ANGLE ] on the bottom control bar.
The view angle is changed.

Rotate Pictures
1. When you view pictures,touch bottom half of the screen to
display menu on the screen, if necessary.

Zoom
You can zoom in pictures for a close view.

You can make or receive phone calls with Bluetooth-enabled phones through the unit. You can
also listen to music from a Bluetooth-enabled device.
Pair the Bluetooth-enabled devices
To connect your Bluetooth device to the unit, you need to pair the device to the unit. Pairing needs
1. Turn on the Bluetooth function on the device.
2. Search for Bluetooth device with the device.
3. Select model name from in the pairing list.
4. Enter default password“0000”.
If pairing succeeds, phone call record is displayed.
Tip:
•The operational range between this unit and a Bluetooth device is approximately 10 meters (30
feet).

•Compatibility with all Bluetooth device is not guaranteed.

Disconnect Bluetooth device
To disconnect one device, touch [ ].

•The device will also be disconnected when the device is moved beyond the operational range.
•If you want to reconnect the device to the unit, place it within the operational range.
•If you do not want to reconnect the device to the unit automatically, touch [ ], then touch
Make a call
1. Select [Bluetooth] in the home menu.
2. Pair the phone with the unit.
3. Touch [ ], [ ] to select the paired phone, touch it to select.
4. Touch [ ], [ ] to search for phone number from the following
list:

Receive call
By default, all incoming calls are received automaticaly.
1. If there is incoming call, [Incoming call...] ashes on the screen.
Speak into the Bluetooth microphone.
2. When conversation ends, touch [ ](red) to terminate the call.
Tip
∙ You can select to receive calls manually by set [Auto answer] to [Off] status.
Switch Phone Call to the Mobile
If you do not want your passenger to hear your incoming call, you can switch the
call to the mobile.
1. During talking, touch [ ].
The voice is transferred from the unit’s loudspeaker to the mobile phone.
Adjust Bluetooth Settings
1. In Bluetooth menu,touch [ ].
The option menu is displayed.
2. Touch on the selected option to change the setting.
∙ [Bluetooth]: to turn on or off “Bluetooth” function.
∙ [Auto Connect]: to turn on or off “Auto connect” function.
∙ [Auto Answer]: to turn on or off “Auto answer” function.
∙ [Pairing Code]: to set paring code.
∙ [Phone Book Sync]: to synchronize phone book, touch [ ] on the sub-menu popped out.

∙ You can also adjust Bluetooth settings in the “Settings”menu.

Select iPod as playing source
Turn on the unit’s power, and connect an iPod to the unit via a iPod cable, the unit will load the
iPod automatically.
Play
On the iPod main menu, operate the iPod via touch panel.
1. When the music root menu appears on the screen,
touch an option (such as PlayLists, Artists...),
then touch [ ] or [
2. Touch the selected option to play back.
3. To pause, touch [ ].
To resume play, touch [ ].
4. Skip to previous/next track, press [ ] / [ ] key.

Adjust volume
To adjust volume, rotate the volume knob on the bottom left of the front panel.
Mute
When playback, press the volume knob on the panel, the sound is cut o.
To resume sound, press the knob again.
Select preset equalizer
You can select preset equalizer:

The current Equalizer setting is displayed.

4. Touch [ ] to restore the above settings into default settings.

Adjust fader/balance
You can also adjust the front and rear speaker balance, the left and right speaker balance,and
subwoofer settings.
1. Touch [ ] on the screen.
2. Touch [ ].
3. Touch [ + ] or [ - ] to adjust subwoofer volume.
∙ Subwoofer volume range: 0 to 24.
4. Touch [ ], [ ] to adjust fader value.

2. Then select [Settings]. The settings menu is displayed.
If [Settings] is not on the current menu, touch on the
right bottom of the screen.

Adjust Bluetooth settings
1. Touch [Bluetooth].
2. Touch an option repeatedly to select:

Bluetooth On Turn on the Bluetooth function.
Off Turn off the Bluetooth function.
Auto connect On If the pre-paired device is within the effective range, the unit re-connects
to pre-paired device automatically.
Off Need to re-connect manually.

Pairing code Set the password for pairing the unit with other Bluetooth device.

Adjust DVD rating
1. Touch [DVD].
2. Touch an option to select:
DVD rating Options Description
Set password Set password to restrict the play of discs. The factory password is 4321.
Rating level
Kid safe Acceptable for children.
GAcceptable for general viewers.
PG Parental guidance suggested.
PG-13 Unsuitable for children under age 13.
PG-R Recommend parents to restrict children under 17 to view.
R Restricted recommend parents to guide children under 17 to view.
NC-17 Unsuitable for children under age 17.
Adult Acceptable for adults only.
3. Touch the upper left corner of the screen to exit.
Adjust volume settings
You can set different volume for different modes.
1. Touch [Volume].
The volume setting sub-menu is displayed.
2. Select a source.
3. Touch [ ] or [ ] to assign value: 0 to 12.
When switching to the source,the volume increases automatically.
4. Touch the upper left corner of the screen to exit.

Listen to other devices
You can connect an external audio/video device to the unit.
1. Connect the car audio to the device with the supplied AV cable.
2. Touch the upper left corner to display the main menu.
3. Touch [AV-IN1] / [AV-IN2].
4. Operate the connected device(see the instructions manual of the device).
Reset
When the unit hangs up, you can reset it.
Press RESET button with a ball-point pen or similar tool.
Tip
When the unit is reset, all the settings remain unchanged.
Remove the unit
To remove the unit from the dashboard.
1. Take off the trim plate.
2. Screw off the four screws on the left/right side of the unit.
3. Pull the unit out from the dashboard.
Replace fuse
If there is no power, the fuse may be damaged and need to be replaced.
1. Take out the unit from dashboard.
2. Check the electric connection.
3. Buy a fuse that matches the amp rating of the damaged fuse.
4. Replace the fuse.

1. Press [NAVI] button on the front panel or select [Navigation] on the main source menu, the
navigation menu will display in a few seconds.
