Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für das Multi-Gaswarngerät
CAMPERGUARD entschieden haben. Dieses Gerät ist speziell
für Wohnmobile und Caravans entwickelt worden und erkennt
alle Arten von natürlichen brennbaren Gasen (LNG), Propan-
/Butangas (LPG), Kohlenmonoxyd (CO) und narkotisierend
wirkende Gase in geringsten Mengen. Es warnt akustisch und
optisch bereits bei für den Menschen ungefährlicher, jedoch
unnatürlich erhöhter Konzentration dieser Gase.
Installation:
Bringen Sie das Gerät an einer Wand in ca. 1m Höhe
an. Verwenden Sie hierzu eine der
Schlüssellochstanzungen auf der Rückseite und eine
Schraube.
Schließen Sie das Gerät an die 12V Batterie des
Bordnetzes an: rot = Pluspol, schwarz = Minuspol. In
die rote Leitung vor der Batterie bitte eine 10A
Sicherung einsetzen.
Der Stromverbrauch des Geräts ist so gering, dass ein
Dauerbetrieb möglich ist. Wenn der dauerhafte
Verbrauch Ihrem Strommanagement im Fahrzeug
entgegen steht, kann optional ein Schalter in die
Plusleitung installiert werden.
Betrieb:
Nach dem ersten Anschluss (oder bei Verwendung eines
Schalters in der Plusleitung) dauert es bis zu 3 Minuten, bis der
Sensor betriebsbereit ist. In dieser Phase prüft das Gerät
automatisch die Funktion des Sensors und stellt sich auf die
Umgebungsluft ein. Nach dieser Phase können Sie jederzeit den
Testknopf zur Funktionsprüfung des Sensors benutzen. Dabei
wird die interne Sirene aktiviert und die rote LED (Alarm)
eingeschaltet. Der Alarm bleibt aktiv, bis sich die
Gaskonzentration verflüchtigt hat. CAMPERGUARD wird
automatisch wieder in den Bereitschaftszustand gesetzt.

Anschluss externer Geräte wie Zusatzsirene, Warnleuchte etc.:
Das Gerät verfügt über einen zusätzlichen Schaltausgang, der
bis 2A/12V belastbar ist. Geräte mit höherem Stromverbrauch
müssen über ein Relais angeschlossen werden. Im Falle der
Überlastung entfällt die Gewährleistung! Zusatzgeräte müssen
mit einer Sicherung mit entsprechendem Wert angeschlossen
werden (siehe Schaltplan).
Bei Verwendung eines Gasmagnetventils, das durch Strom
offen gehalten wird, wird anstatt NO der Anschluss NC
verwendet und mit dem Anschluss 86 des Relais verbunden.

Maßnahmen bei Alarm
Öffnen Sie Fenster und Türen zwecks Lüftung des Raumes.
Stellen Sie die Ursache fest und schließen Sie ggfls. alle
Gasversorgungsleitungen. Ziehen Sie im Zweifelsfall immer
einen Fachmann zur Feststellung der Ursache hinzu.
Tipps und weitere Hinweise
Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Küchendünsten und anderen
Umgebungsvariablen installieren, die die korrekte Funktion des
Sensors beeinträchtigen können (z.B. Gasherd, Gasheizung
etc.), um Fehlalarme zu vermeiden.
Es gibt Gase die leichter oder schwerer als Atemluft sind. CO ist
leichter und sammelt sich oben im Raum, LPG ist schwerer und
sammelt sich am Boden. Zur Überwachung aller Gase ist die
Montagehöhe von 1m ideal. Wenn ein bestimmtes Gas
besonders überwacht werden soll, kann die Montagehöhe
entsprechend angepasst werden.
Der Stromwandler im Wohnwagen liefert zwar 12V, aber
meistens keinen reinen Gleichstrom (DC). Der Anschluss muss
an eine Batterie erfolgen. Im Handel gibt es wieder aufladbare
12V DC Blöcke, die für diesen Zweck geeignet sind.
Gewährleistung
Dieses Gerät wurde sorgfältig und mit höchster Qualität
hergestellt und geprüft. Sollten Sie trotzdem ein Problem
haben, erhalten Sie auf dieses Gerät ab dem Kaufdatum einen
gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsanspruch von 2 Jahren. Bei
Ansprüchen wenden Sie sich bitte mit Angabe des Fehlers, des
Kaufbelegs und dem Gerät an Ihren Händler.

Thank you for choosing the multi/gas warning device
CAMPERGUARD. This device has been developed especially for
use in motor homes and caravans. The device is able to detect
gas with narcotic effect, natural gas (LNG), LPG and carbon
monoxide (CO) in very low mass. It will give acoustic and
optical alarm even if the concentration of gas is not dangerous
for people, but increased concentration as the normal air.
Installation:
Fix the device at a wall in height of 1m. Use one of
the keyhole press cuts and a screw.
Connect the Device with a 12V DC battery: red line +,
black line GND. Put a fuse of 10A in the red line to the
battery.
The consumption of the device is very low, so you can
use it permanently. In cases when consumption must be
economical it is possible to set a switch into the red line +
Operation:
After the first connection (or if you use a switch in the red line)
it will last up to 3m until the sensor is ready-to-operate. In this
phase the device checks the sensor and justifies itself to the
environment. After this phase you can use the test button at
any time. Using it the internal alarm sounds and the red LED is
switched on. In case of alarm because gas is detected the
device will do the same. When the gas has volatilized the
device will reset to ready-to-operate status automatically.

Wiring with external devices like siren, lamp or fan:
CAMPERGUARD is equipped with a relay which is usable up to
2A/12V. Devices with higher consumption must be connected
with an extra relay according to the external device. In case of
overload the warranty is excluded. External devices must be
installed with a fuse according to the used device (see
following connection scheme).

Procedure in case of alarm
Open windows and doors in order to air the room. Determine
the reason and close all gas lines if open. In any doubts refer
immediately to a technical expert.
Tips and more hints
Do not install the device close to kitchen mist and other
environment variables which can affect the correct working of
the sensor (f.e. gas oven, gas heater etc.), especially in order to
avoid false alarms.
Gases are lighter or heavier than the breathing air. CO centers
under the ceiling and LPG on the floor. To control all gases the
mounting height of 1m is ideal. To control your personal
wished gas the mounting height can be adjusted accordingly.
The current transformer in the most caravans delivers 12V but
not direct current (DC). The device must be connected to DC. In
specialized trade shops are dry reloadable 12V DC batteries
available.
Warranty
This device is produced under strict quality requirements.
However if there is a problem we grant a warranty of 2 years
beginning from buying date. In case of claims please refer with
description of fault, buying receipt and device to your dealer.
