ABOUT THE INDOOR BALL LAUNCHER
OVERVIEW
Thank you for using the Indoor Ball Launcher.
CanAssist’s Indoor Ball Launcher is an adaptation of an off-the-
shelf product called GoDogGo. This commercial product is
battery-operated, can be used indoors, and includes a remote
control that lets the user send balls whizzing across the room.
While GoDogGo allows people to play fetch with their dog without
having t0 throw a ball, it still requires that the user be able to
operate several buttons on a remote.
CanAssist’s switch-accessible remote allows a user to launch a ball
with the press of a single button. The remote is compatible with most standard accessibility
switches.
This user manual provides instructions on setting up and using the Indoor Ball Launcher. For all
other instructions relating to the use and safe operation of the ball launcher, please refer to the
GoDogGo owner’s manual.
FEATURES
•Remotely launch tennis balls on-demand using an accessibility switch
•Automatic launching of tennis balls in various time intervals
•Operates with AC adapter or with batteries
•Adjustable launch distance. For the tennis balls included:

USING THE INDOOR BALL LAUNCHER
The Indoor Ball Launcher can be used with multiple balls or just one. The machine launches only
when there is at least one ball in the basket. The ball launcher’s sensor switch on the launch
receptacle detects the weight of the ball in order to start the launch.
Once the Indoor Ball Launcher is set up and connected to a power source, balls may be launched
in one (1) of two (2) ways: automatically or remotely using an accessibility switch. Follow the
instructions below to use the ball launcher in either launch mode.
WARNING:Stand clear of the launch area when the ball launcher is turned on.
To use the accessibility-switch launch mode:
1. Turn on your Indoor Ball Launcher by flipping the toggle switch to the ON position.
2. Place tennis balls in the Ball Bucket.
3. Connect the Accessibility Switch to the Remote Control.
4. Place the accessibility switch such that the user can easily press it.
5. Press the accessibility switch to launch a ball.
Note: In this mode, if you press the Auto Launch button on the remote, it will launch the
ball, just as it would if you pressed the accessibility switch.
To use the automatic launch mode:
1. Turn on your Indoor Ball Launcher by flipping the toggle switch to the ON position.
2. Place tennis balls in the Ball Bucket.
3. You can use either the control panel or remote control to activate automatic launching.
On the Control Panel: Repeatedly press the SELECT button to cycle through the 4-
second, 7-second, and 14-second launch intervals. The selected time will be lit up in
green.
On the Remote Control: Repeatedly press the Time Select button to cycle through the
4-second, 7-second, and 14-second launch intervals. The selected time will be lit up in
red.
4. After a four-second (4-second) safety delay, automatic launching will begin.
Before the ball launches, you will hear the kicking mechanism wind back then release with a
loud “thump” sound. The ball launches in an “up and out” direction instead of straight forward.
IMPORTANT:When not in use, remember to turn off the remote control to save battery
power. To turn off the remote, repeatedly press the Time Select button until all lights are
off.
