Please read the following instructions before
using the calculator. Keep this sheet on hand
for future reference.
POWER SUPPLY
This calculator comes with a dual power source. The
duration of alkaline battery depends on individual
usage.
(Note: Do not attempt to change the battery by
yourself. Have a Canon Service Center change the
battery for you.)
Electromagnetic interference or electrostatic
discharge may cause the display to
malfunction or the contents of the memory to
be lost or altered. Should this occur, press
the key and re-start your calculation from
the beginning.
AUTOMATIC POWER-OFF FUNCTION
When the power is turned "ON" and none of the keys
are pressed more than 7 minutes, the calculator
turns off automatically to save power. Press the
key to the calculation.
GRAND TOTAL FUNCTION
The totals are accumulated in the grand total
memory. Press to get the grand total.
Press successively to clear the grand
total memory
OVERFLOW FUNCTION
In the following cases, when "E" is display, the
keyboard is electronically locked, and further
operation is impossible. Press to clear the
overflow. The overflow function occurs when:
1) The result or the memory content exceeds 12
digits to the left of the decimal point.
2) Dividing by "0".

오버플로우가 발생하면 영문자 "E"가
디스플레이에 나타나면서 키보드가 전자적으로
잠김 상태로 전환되어 더 이상 작동이
불가능해집니다. 키를 눌러 오버플로우
상태를 해제해야 합니다.
오버플로우 기능이 발생하는 경우는 다음과
같습니다.
1) 계산 결과 또는 메모리 내용이 소수점 왼편
12 자리를 초과하는 경우.
2) "0"으로 나눈 경우.
