Thank you for purchasing the Canon Remote
Switch RS-80N3.
The Canon Remote Switch RS-80N3 is aremote
control switch compatible with the
N3 type remote
control terminal
of the camera.
It enables you
to release the shutter from up to
0.8 m/2.6
ft. away from the camera, eliminating
camera shake problems.
Used in combination with the optional
10 m/32 ft.
ET-1000N3 extension cord, you can control the
camera from an even greater distance.
This is
especially useful
for wild-life photography.
1. Open the terminal cover.
2. Connect the plug to the remote control
terminal.
•Connect the plug as shown in the illustration.
•To disconnect the plug, grasp the plug's silver part
and pull out.
3. The release button uses atwo-step system.
Press the release button halfway to focus
the subject, then adjust the shutterspeed
and aperture.
Press the
button fully to release the shutter
and take the picture.
•While pressing the release button fUlly, slide it in
the direction of the arrow to lock the shutter. This is
particularly useful for bulb function photographsy.

La lE31ecommande RS-80N3 Canon est une
telecommande compatible avec la
borne de
raccordement des telecommandes de type N3 de
I'appareil.
Elle vous permet de declencher
jusqu'a 80 cm de
I'appareil, eliminant ainsi les problemes lies aux
f10us de bouge.
Utilisee en combinaison avec la rallonge ET-
1000N3 de 10 m, vous pouvez
declencher aune
distance encore plus grande. Elle
est
particulierement indiquee pour la photographie
animaliere.
1. Ouvrez Ie cache-connecteurs.
2. Branchez la fiche sur Ie recepteur de
telecommande.
•Branchez la fiche comme illustre.
•Pour debrancher
la fiche, saisissez la partie
argentee de la fiche et tirez.
3. Le declencheur de la telecommande utilise
un systeme adeux etapes. Appuyez sur Ie
declencheur ami-course pour mettre votre
sujet au point, puis ajustez la vitesse
d'obturation et I'ouverture.
Appuyez dessus afond
pour declencher et
prendre la photo.
•Quand vous appuyez afond sur Ie declencheurde
la telecommande, faites Ie glisser dans la direction
de
la fleche pour verrouiller I'obturateur. C'est une
fonction particulierement utile pour les prises de
vues qui demandent une longue exposition.

Zunachst einmal vielen Dank fOr den Kauf des
Kabel-Fernauslosers RS-80N3.
Der Canon RS-80N3 ist ein Fernausloser, der mit
der N3-Fernauslosebuchse der Kamera
kompatibel is!.
Er ermoglicht das erschiitterungsfreie Auslosen
des Kameraverschlusses aus einer Entfernung
von bis
zu 0,8 m.
In Verbindung mit dem als Zubehor erhaltlichen
Verlangerungskabel ET-1000N3 (10 mLange) ist
eine Auslosung aus noch groBerer Entfernung
moglich, was beispielsweise beim Fotografieren
von Tieren
in freier Wildbahn niitzlich is!.
1. Offnen Sie die Kontaktabdeckung der
Kamera.
2. Verbinden Sie den Stecker mit der
Fernbedienungsbuchse.
•SchlieBen Sie das Kabel wie in der Abbildung
dargestellt
an.
•Ziehen Sie an dem silbernen Teil des Steckers, um
ihn wieder herauszuziehen.
3. Die Auslosetaste arbeitet zweistufig:
Zum Scharfeinstellen drOckt man die
Auslosetaste halb an, urn danach
VerschluBzeit und Blende einzustellen.
Zum Auslosen des Verschlusses wird die
Taste ganz durchgedrOckt.
•Die ganz durchgedrOckle Ausl6setaste kann zum
Verriegeln des Verschlusses
in Pfeilrichtung
geschoben werden. Dies ist insbesondere
fOr
Langzeilaufnahmen (B) nOtzlich.

EI interruptor adistancia RS-80N3 de Canon es
un interruptor de control adistancia compatible
con
el terminal de control remoto tipo N3 de la
camara.
Le permite disparar el obturador desde una
distancia de 0,8 mde la camara, eliminando los
problemas de vibraci6n de la camara.
Empleado en combinaci6n con el cable extensor
de 10 mET-1000N3 opcional, podra controlar la
camara desde una distancia mayor. Esto es
especialmente util para la fotograffa de la vida
silvestre.
1. Abra la tapa de terminales.
2. Conecte la clavija al terminal del mando a
distancia.
•Conecte la ciavija como se muestra en la
ilustraci6n.
•Para desconectar
la clavija, sUjetela por la parte

3. EI disparador utiliza un sistema de dos
pasos. Presione el disparador hasta la
mitad para enfocar el sujeto, a

Pulse el boton afonda para disparar el
obturador ytomar la foto.
•Estando el disparador pulsado alondo, deslicelo
en
la direcci6n de la f1echa para bloquear el
obturador. Esto es especialmente convenienle para
lotografias de exposici6n.
