INPUT SPECIFICATIONS

Starting Up
Wh n th t mp ratur controll r is conn ct d to th smart-hous bus,
th display digits will start flashing. Th display will continu to flash
until a compl t status hav b n r c iv d from th smart-hous con-
troll r. This will tak approximat ly 1 min. Wh n th t mp ratur con-
troll r has r c iv d a compl t status, th display will stop flashing and
show th curr nt application status and room or floor t mp ratur .
Function Description
Aft r th starting up has finish d, normal op ration will comm nc . In
normal op ration (Normal mod ) th us r has th following options:
Outdoor temperature option
Wh n pr ssing th button th curr nt outdoor t mp ratur is shown
in th display. A symbol is also shown on th display to indicat
outdoor t mp ratur . Th t mp ratur controll r will automatically go
back to show th curr nt room t mp ratur (Normal mod ) aft r th
buttons hav all b n idl for approximat ly 5 s conds, or th us r can
singl pr ss th button to xit.
*Note: For this option to work corr ctly, an outdoor t mp ratur s n-
sor, BSI-TEMANA, must b conn ct d to th smart-hous bus and th
option must b s t up in th smart-hous controll r. If this is not don ,
th display will show 60.0 wh n this option is s l ct d.
Option Menu

four possibiliti s:
1. Turn on/off H ating (h at symbol in th display).
2. Turn on/off Night s tback for H ating applications (sun
and moon symbols in th display).
3. Turn on/off Cooling (frost symbol in th display).
4. Turn on/off Night s tback for Cooling applications (sun
and moon symbols in th display)

Channel Programming
Using th BGP-COD-BAT programming unit, ach of th 5 chann ls on
th t mp ratur controll r can b assign d any addr ss b tw n A1
and P8. Th programming sock t can b acc ss d by r moving th
front of th housing. Th allocation of th chann ls ar as follows:
* Note: If a description of the heating/cooling outputs is required,
please consult the manual for the smart-house controllers
BH -CTRLX-230, BH -CTRLZ and BH -CTRLG. See paragraph 2.3.5
Please note that the unit can be programmed to both cooling and
heating, but the mode required has to be selected on the display. For
instance, cooling control can be selected during the sommer and heat-
ing control during the winter.
The temperature controller works with both floor sensor and Room
sensor. It is possible to enter the smart-house controller software to
change / program which sensor is used (or both), together with the
Temperature controller.
Mode of Operation
Th switch has two colours of LEDs: Non-activat d (whit LED).
Activat d (Blu LED). Th whit LED for both switch s and display can
b d -activat d by two int rnal dipswitch s.
Symbol description:
On th display th following fiv symbols ar us d.
– T mp ratur symbol 2, indicat s that th outdoor
t mp ratur is curr ntly shown on th display.
– H at symbol, indicating that a h at application
is curr ntly s l ct d. Wh n th symbol is blinking, th unit is
h ating. Wh n th symbol is st ady, H at mod is s l ct d.
– Frost symbol, indicating that a cooling application is
curr ntly s l ct d. Wh n th symbol is blinking, th unit is
cooling. Wh n th symbol is st ady, Cooling mod is s l ct d.
– Sun symbol, indicating that th curr nt application
is running in normal mod .
– Moon symbol, indicating that th curr nt application
is running in night s tback mod .
Note: Wh n th t mp ratur controll r is in “normal” mod ,
th us r is abl to ov rrid this mod by s l cting
“night s tback ” in th option m nu.
