ASSEMBLYINSTRUCTIONS

- HookThe shoulder straps to the top and bottomof the sprayer (Fig. 1), adjusting the
straps so the sprayer can be carried comfortably.
- Assemblethe lance (Fig: 2), screwing the extension and the desired nozzletogether.
- When using the sprayer far the first time check the battery status and recharge if
necessary(Fig.3) :
. connect the battery charger to the pump
.connect battery charger to 220V - 50Hz circuit
.battery in fully charged when the red Led comes on.
. disconnectthe battery charger and the sprayer is ready far the use.

- USEONLY LIQUID- BASED PRODUCTS
- Beforeusing, check the operation of the pump (use only clearwater)
- In another container, mix chemicals and water. Follow instructions of the producer.
- Pourthe liquid-mix into the tank. Make sure the filter is in the tank mouth.
Becareful as not to pour the liquid on the ground.
- Correctlypiacethe pump on your shoulder, then set the speedselectionswitch
( O=stop; l=slow; 2=fast) ( Fig.4).
- Squeezethe hand ever to engage the elctric pump. Relugatethe output
( mist or long) by turning the lance's head (Fig.5).
- DO NOT OPERATE THE PUMP WITH AH EMPTY TANK.
- In case the nozzlesbecomesclogged: stop spraying, and remove the nozzlefrom
the lance. Cleanthe hole using a jet of water or a small brush ( do not blow on it
with your mouth). Wear gloves while cleaning to avoid contact with the liquid
( Fig.6).
- When finished spraying, pour the remaining liquid into another container. Rinse .
Out the thank, and operate the pump with clear water far severaI minutes.

- For maintenance or repair work, you must completely empty the pump and rinse ~

the battery, remember the red is positive (+) and the black is negative (-).
- Check at the end of the season the status at the various components:
Thank, lid, filters, tubes, electrical connections, lance, shoulder straps, hooks.
In case of excessive wear, replace them. Use only CARPI parts.
RECYCLING
- Pleasedisposethe containers in designated recycling centers.
- In caseof battery change pleasetake it to designated centers asspecialtrash.
- When the pumps is not working any more, pleasede-assemblethe different parts
and disposeof them in the designated recycling centres.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
- Carefully read the instructions' manual andfollow ali the warnings and instructions.
- Protect yourself with the followings items: safety glasses, mask, gloves, overalls boots.
- The sprayer is designed far agriculturalliquid chemical substancessuspended in water.
Pumping substancesother in the sprayer can cause demage to the sprayer.
In particular, do not spray:
.High density and high viscosity solutions.
. Chemicalsubstancesthat not compatible with the sprayer parts.
. Water far domestic use.
. Paint.
. Fueland grease.
. Liquid that have granular or solid parts in the suspension.
. Do not smoke. Eat or drink while using the sprayer.
. It is dangerousto usetne sprayer when tired, ill or under the effect of medicine,
alcoholic beveragesor drugs.
. Rinseyourself in case of accidental contact with substances.
. The sprayer should be used only by trained personnel ali other should Stayaway
at a safe distance.
. When not in use, set the speed selection switch to the "O" position.
. Do not spray toxic or dangerous substances on people and animals.
Do not operate in caseof strong winds.
