Back up your settings
This guide provides you with instructions on how to back up your gateway’s configuration and restore it. We
recommend that you make a backup of the current working configuration in case you lose your settings or
need to perform a factory reset (i.e. reset default settings).
1Connect your computer to the Gateway using a wired or wireless connection. We recommend
connecting via Ethernet cable.
2Open a web browser (such as Google Chrome, Safari or Mozilla Firefox), type the following address
into the address bar and press Enter.
http://192.168.20.1
3Enter the Gateway Login Username and Password printed on the label at the back of the Gateway and
click the Sign in button.

4Navigate to Management > Settings > Backup.

5Click the Backup Settings button.
6The configuration file “backupsettings.conf” is saved via your browser to the downloads folder
configured in your browser.

Restore your settings
To restore a saved configuration:
1Navigate to Management-> Settings->Update.
Tools – Update Settings page
2Click the Choose file button to browse for the “backupsettings.conf” file which was previously stored on
your PC/Laptop.
3The words ‘No file chosen’to the right of the Choose file button will change to the name of the
backupsettings.conf file when it is ready for upload.
4Click the Update Settings button to restore the settings saved in the file.
5The gateway settings are updated and the gateway will restart.
The process will take around 1-2 minutes.
