Wiring diagram
1.
Installation: Connect a Class 2 power supply with 12/24 VDC
output voltage to input side of Universal LED Bluetooth Dimmer.
IMPORTANT: Power supply should be constant voltage type.
2. Check polarity of wires connected to Universal LED
Bluetooth Dimmer
(Red = positive, Black = negative).
3. Positive wire of LED light connects to Universal LED
Bluetooth Dimmer shared positive output slot (+).
IMPORTANT: Shared positive output means all positive
wire of LED light connects to this slot.
4.
Negative wire of LED light connected to each of four channels
has its own negative slot. IMPORTANT: Total current from
LED Dimming Module should be less than 4 A.

App Installation:
Ensure LED lighting system
is installed according to Sloan Installation
guide. Go to Google Play Store or Apple App
Store. Search for "Casambi" app and install.
2. Turn on Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth
connection is enabled in phone settings.

3. Accept permissions: After installing
Casambi app, open and allow access to your
phone by tapping "allow" on screen.

4. Power on: Turn on AC power to energize
system allowing it to be recognized by app.
5. Congure connection: On app start
screen, a number one enclosed by red circle
indicates the app detects a dimmer. Press
"My Networks" to congure the connection.
6. Create a network: Select "Create a new
network" option.

7. Identify system: Type your system name
(e.g. SloanLED) into "Name" eld and
press "Save".
8. Nearby devices: Press "Show nearby
devices" on main menu.
9. Update check: Ensure software is up to
date by selecting "Check for update" option.
Then, press "Back" to go back to "Nearby
devices" screen. Select your Bluetooth
device and press "Paired device".
Press "Unpair device".

After tapping the Start button you have ve seconds
to conrm the unpair by icking the luminaire -
quickly switch it OFF and back ON again.

10. Starting: Press "Start". IMPORTANT: After
tapping the "Start" button, AC power must be
o within 5 seconds. Press "Back" button.
11. Ensure device is "Unpaired" in "Bluetooth
Devices" section and select "Bluetooth
Devices" section again.
12. Add Device: Press "Add to 'SloanLED'"
button. This adds the conguration le that
you created to the software.

13. Within 30 seconds, "Bluetooth Devices"
section changes to "SloanLED".
IMPORTANT: If le name has not changed
within 30 seconds, there may be a problem
with your connection. Repeat the above
process. Press the "Back" button.
14. Turn on device: Device logo will be lit up
(bright white). Tap device logo to turn LED
system o. Tap again to turn LED system
back on. IMPORTANT: If device logo is
highlighted, LED system is on. If device logo
is dark, LED system is o.
Dimming system
is now ready to use.

Individual channels can NOT handle 4 A max current on their own.
Dimming Guide
1. Turn AC power on. If LED system is lit, start app. "Start" screen will appear for a few seconds and
will change to "Control" screen (device logo will be lit). IMPORTANT: If LED system is o (no AC
power is on), "Start" screen will not change to control screen. Turn AC power on to correct issue.
While device logo is lit, press and hold device logo until "Dimming Control" screen appears.

Each channel is controlled by designated slide
bar. On dimming control screen, top dimmer
controls LED light connected to CH1 of LED
Dimmer Module. Move slide bar from left to
right or vice-versa to control light output.
