1 Allgemeines
Lesen Sie die hier enthaltenen Informationen, um
sich mit dem Gerät schnell vertraut zu machen und
die Funktionen in vollem Umfang zu nutzen. Ihr
Gerät dient Ihnen viele Jahre lang, wenn Sie es sach-
gerecht behandeln und pegen.
Informationen zu dieser Anleitung
Diese Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil der
Feinwaage CASO FinoCompact (nachfolgend als
Gerät bezeichnet) und gibt Ihnen wichtige Hin-
weise für die Inbetriebnahme, die Sicherheit, den
bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch und die Pege
des Gerätes. Die Bedienungsanleitung muss ständig
am Gerät verfügbar sein. Sie ist von jeder Person zu
lesen und anzuwenden, die mit der:
• Inbetriebnahme, • Bedienung,
• Störungsbehebung und/oder • Reinigung
des Gerätes beauftragt ist.
Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung auf und
geben Sie diese mit dem Gerät an Nachbesitzer
weiter.

2 Sicherheit
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheits-
hinweise im Umgang mit dem Gerät. Dieses Gerät
entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestim-
mungen. Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann jedoch
zu Personen und Sachschäden führen.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch im Haushalt
zum Wiegen von Lebensmitteln bestimmt.
Gefahr durch nicht
bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung und/oder andersartige Nutzung!
Das Risiko trägt allein der Betreiber.
Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren
Umgang mit dem Gerät die
folgenden allgemeinen Sicherheitshinweise:
 Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwen-
dung auf äußere sichtbare Schäden.
Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht in
Betrieb.
 Kinder dürfen mit dem Gerät nicht spielen.
 Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten
dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beauf-
sichtigung durchgeführt werden.
 Eine Reparatur des Gerätes während der
Garantiezeit darf nur von einem vom
Hersteller autorisierten Kundendienst
vorgenommen werden, sonst besteht bei
nachfolgenden Schäden kein Garantie-
anspruch mehr.
 Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original
Ersatzteile ausgetauscht werden.
3 Inbetriebnahme
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur
Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes. Beachten Sie die Diese
um Gefahren und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
Sicherheitshinweise
Bei der Inbetriebnahme des
Gerätes können Personen-
und Sachschäden auftreten! Beachten Sie die
folgenden Sicherheitshinweise um die Gefahren zu
vermeiden:
 Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum
Spielen verwendet werden. Es besteht
Erstickungsgefahr.
Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden
Komponenten geliefert:
• CASO FinoCompact
• Edelstahl Wiegeschale (Abdeckung)
• Fixierband
• Bedienungsanleitung
 Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf
Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare
Schäden.
 Melden Sie eine unvollständige Lieferung oder
Schäden infolge mangelhafter Verpackung
oder durch Transport sofort dem Spediteur, der
Versicherung und dem Lieferanten.
Für den Betrieb benötigen Sie 2 Batterien
(1,5V/ AAA - nicht enthalten)
Auspacken
Zum Auspacken des Gerätes entnehmen Sie das
Gerät aus dem Karton und entfernen Sie das Ver-
packungsmaterial.

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vorTrans-
portschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind
nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstech-
nischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb
recycelbar. Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den
Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoe und verringert das
Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benö-
tigte Verpackungsmaterialien an den Sammelstellen
für das Verwertungssystem »Grüner Punkt«.
 Heben Sie wenn möglich die
Originalverpackung während der
Garantiezeit des Gerätes auf, um
das Gerät im Garantiefall wieder ordnungsgemäß
verpacken zu können.
Aufstellung
Anforderungen an den Aufstellort
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des
Gerätes muss der Aufstellort folgende
Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
• Das Gerät muss auf einer festen, ebenen
und waagerechten Unterlage mit einer aus-
reichenden Tragkraft aufgestellt werden.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen,
nassen oder sehr feuchten Umgebung oder in
der Nähe von brennbarem Material auf.
Typenschild
Das Typenschild mit den Leistungsdaten bendet
sich im Batteriefach an der Unterseite des Gerätes.
4 Bedienung und Betrieb
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur
Bedienung des Gerätes. Beachten Sie die Hinweise,
um Gefahren und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
Batterien einsetzen
1. Önen Sie die Batterieabdeckung.
2. Setzen Sie 2 neuwertige Batterien ein.
(1,5V/ AAA – nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)
Achten Sie auf die korrekte Polarität.
3. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.
Batteriewechsel
Bei geringer Batterieladung zeigt das Display„Lo“
an und die Waage schaltet sich nach kurzer Zeit
von selbst aus. Wechseln Sie die Batterien wie unter
„Batterien einsetzen“ beschrieben. Entfernen Sie
die Batterien aus dem Batterienfach, wenn Sie die
Waage für längere Zeit nicht nutzen.
Betrieb des Gerätes
Wiegen
1. Fixierband vom Gerät entfernen und die
Wiegeschale/Abdeckung abnehmen.
2. Die Waage auf eine stabile, gerade Fläche stellen.
3. Die Wiegeschale auf dieWiegeäche legen.
4. „An/Aus-Taste“berühren, um die Waage
einzuschalten. Das Gerät startet in der zuletzt
ausgewählten Maßeinheit und zeigt Null an.
5. Wiegegut auegen.
6. Das Gewicht wird angezeigt.
Tare-Funktion
1. Legen Sie das Wiegegut auf die Wiegeschale.
2. Das LED Display zeigt das Gewicht an.
3. Halten Sie die„Unit/Tare-Taste“ lange gedrückt.
4. TARE blinkt 2 mal im Display und die Anzeige
zeigt Null an.

5. Legen Sie ggf. weiteres Wiegegut auf, um es
zuzuwiegen.
6. Wenn Sie dasWiegegut entnehmen, zeigt die
Waage das negative Gewicht an.
7. Wiederholen Sie Schritt 3 und das Display zeigt
Null an.
 Sie können auch andere passende
Behälter auf die Wiegeäche stellen
und abwiegen.
 Wenn die Anzeige zwischen zwei Werten
schwankt, drücken Sie die„Unit/Tare-Taste“.
Wiegeeinheiten (Unit-Function)
Einheiten: Milliliter (ml) Gramm (g) Unze (oz)
Messbereiche: 0,1-500 0,1-500 0,01-17,7
Toleranz: +/-0.4%
Durch kurzes Tippen auf die„Unit/Tare-Taste“
können Sie zwischen den unterschiedlichen Wiege-
einheiten wechseln.
Ausschalten
Die Waage schaltet sich automatisch nach 2 Minuten
aus. Sie können die Waage auch manuell ausschal-
ten, indem Sie die An/AusTaste gedrückt halten.
Fehlermeldungen
Überlastungsanzeige:
Die Waage zeigt„EEEEE“ im Display.
Entfernen Sie etwas Wiegegut.
Waage steht nicht stabil:
Die Waage zeigt„unSt“ im Display.
Stellen Sie die Waage auf eine stabile Fläche.
Waage erkennt Gewicht nicht:
Die Waage zeigt„out2“ im Display.
Es bendet sich ein Gewicht, das mehr als 100 g /
100 ml oder 3,5274 oz beträgt, auf der Waage
während sie angeschaltet wird.
Nehmen Sie das Gewicht von der Waage, schalten
Sie die Waage erneut ein und legen Sie dann erst das
Wiegegut auf.
5 Reinigung und Pege
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise
zur Reinigung und Pege des Gerätes. Beachten Sie
die Hinweise um Beschädigungen durch falsche
Reinigung zu vermeiden.
Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie die folgenden
Sicherheitshinweise, bevor Sie
mit der Reinigung des Gerätes beginnen:
 Das Gerät muss regelmäßig gereinigt und von
Rückständen entfernt werden.
 Das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten tauchen und nicht in die
Spülmaschine geben.
 Wenn Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät eindringt,
können elektronische Bauteile beschädigt
werden.
 Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel und keine
Lösungsmittel.
 Kratzen Sie hartnäckige Verschmutzungen
nicht mit harten Gegenständen ab.
Reinigung vom Gehäuse, dem Bedienfeld und
der Wiegeschale
Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse, das Bedienfeld und die
Wiegeschale mit einem weichen, angefeuchteten
Tuch.

6 Entsorgung des Altgerätes
Elektrische und elektronische Altgeräte
enthalten vielfach noch wertvolle Materialien.
Sie enthalten aber auch schädliche Stoe, die für
ihre Funktion und Sicherheit notwendig waren.
Im Restmüll oder bei falscher Behandlung können
diese der menschlichen Gesundheit und der Umwelt
schaden. Geben Sie Ihr Altgerät deshalb auf keinen
Fall in den Restmüll.
 Nutzen Sie die von IhremWohnort
eingerichtete Sammelstelle zur
Rückgabe und Verwertung elektri-
scher und elektronischer Altgeräte. Informieren
Sie sich gegebenenfalls bei Ihrem Rathaus, Ihrer
Müllabfuhr oder bei Ihrem Händler.
 Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Ihr Altgerät bis zum
Abtransport kindersicher aufbewahrt wird.
7 Garantie
Für dieses Produkt übernehmen wir beginnend vom
Verkaufsdatum 24 Monate Garantie für Mängel, die
auf Fertigungs- oder Werkstofehler zurückzu-
führen sind.
Ihre gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsansprüche nach
§439 . BGB-E bleiben hiervon unberührt. In der
Garantie nicht enthalten sind Schäden, die durch un-
sachgemäße Behandlung oder Einsatz entstanden
sind, sowie Mängel, welche die Funktion oder den
Wert des Gerätes nur geringfügig beeinussen.
Weitergehend sind Verschleißteile, Transport-
schäden, soweit wir dies nicht zu verantworten
haben, sowie Schäden, die durch nicht von uns
durchgeführte Reparaturen entstanden sind, vom
Garantieanspruch ausgeschlossen. Dieses Gerät ist
für den Gebrauch im privaten Bereich (Haushalts-
einsatz) konstruiert und leistungsmäßig ausgelegt.
Eine etwaige Nutzung im gewerblichen Einsatz fällt
nur soweit unter die Garantie, wie es sich im Umfang
mit der Beanspruchung einer privaten Nutzung ver-
gleichen lässt. Es ist nicht für den weitergehenden,
gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei berechtigten
Reklamationen werden wir das mangelhafte Gerät
nach unserer Wahl reparieren oder gegen ein
mängelfreies Gerät austauschen. Oene Mängel sind
innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach Lieferung anzuzeigen.
Weitere Ansprüche sind ausgeschlossen.
Zur Geltendmachung eines Garantieanspruches set-
zen Sie sich bitte vor einer Rücksendung des Gerätes
(immer mit Kaufbeleg!) mit uns in Verbindung.

ensure the unit and manual
are included and inspect the unit for any visible
damage.
 Immediately notify the carrier and/or supplier
about any incomplete shipment or damages as a
result of inadequate packaging or mishandling.
 You will need to 2 batteries to use the scales
(1.5V/ AAA – not included).
Unpacking
Carefully remove the packaging material and unit
from the carton.

Disposal of the packaging
Caso believes in the importance of recycling
and has selected packaging materials that not
only protect your unit from damage during transit,
but can be recycled to minimize ecological impact.
Recycling the packaging materials preserves raw
materials and reduces waste. Take any packaging
materials that are no longer required to a recycling
collection point for proper disposal.
 If possible, keep the original
packaging for the device for
the duration of the guarantee period in the event a
return in necessary.
Setup
Setup location requirements
In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free opera-

found in the battery compartment on the bottom
of the scales.
11 Operation and handling
This chapter provides you with important notices
with regard to operating the device. Observe the
following notices to avoid dangers and damages.
Batteries
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Put in 2 neuwertige batteries.
(1,5V/ AAA – not included in delivery scope)
Make sure that you insert the batteries correctly
(+/- terminals).
3. Close the battery cover.
Replacing the batteries
When the batteries are low, the display will show the
error“Lo”and the scales will turn themselves o after
a short time. Change the batteries as described in
the“Replacing the batteries”section below. Remove
the batteries from the battery compartment if you
are not planning to use the scales for a longer period
of time.
Operation
Weighing
1. Remove the xing tape from the device, then
remove the weighing bowl / cover.
2. Place the scales on a hard, at surface.
3. Place the weighing bowl on the weighing
surface.
4. Press the“On/O” button to switch the scales
on. The scales will be set to the last unit of
measurement you used and the display will
show 0.
5. Place the object to be weighed on the scale
surface.
6. The weight will appear on the display.

Tare-Function
1. Place the object to be weighed in the weighing
bowl.
2. The LED display will show the weight.
3. Hold the“Unit/Tare”button for a few seconds.
4. The wordTARE will ash twice on the display and
it will show the weight 0.
5. Place any further objects to be weighed on the
scales to add their weight to the total.
6. When you remove the object/s to be weighed,
the scales will show the negative weight.
7. Repeat Step 3 and the display will show 0.
 You can also place other
suitable containers on the
scale surface to weigh them.
 If the display alternates between two numbers,
press the“Unit/Tare”button.

Place the scales on a hard surface.
The scales cannot identify the weight:
The display will show the error code“out2”.
A weight exceeding 100 g / 100 ml or 3.5274 oz is on
the scales when they are turned on.
Remove the weight from the scales, turn the scales
on again and then place the object to be weighed
on the scales.
12 Cleaning and Maintenance

 Vérier l‘intégralité de la
livraison et les éventuels
défauts visuels.
 En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dégâts
en raison d‘un emballage insuffisant ou du
transport veuillez en avertir immédiatement
l‘expéditeur, l‘assurance et le livreur.
 Pour le fonctionnement, vous avez besoin de 2
piles neuves (1,5 V/AAA - non incluses)
Déballage
Pour déballer l‘appareil procédez comme suit:
Enlevez l‘appareil du carton et éliminez le matériel
d‘emballage, comme décrit sur le schéma.
Elimination des emballages
L‘emballage protège l‘appareil contre les
dégâts de transport. Les matériaux d‘emballage
ont été choisis selon des critères environnementaux
et de techniques d‘élimination, c‘est pourquoi ils
sont recyclables. Le retour des emballages dans le
circuit des matières épargne les matières premières
et restreint le volume des déchets. Eliminez les em-
ballages inutiles dans les points de collecte destinés
au système de recyclage avec le logo «Point vert».
 Veuillez si possible conserver
l‘emballage original
pendant la durée de la garantie de l‘appareil an
de pouvoir emballer correctement l‘appareil en
cas de recours en garantie.
Mise en place
Exigences pour l‘emplacement d‘utilisation
Pour un fonctionnement sûr et sans problème de
l‘appareil, son emplacement d‘utilisation doit être
choisi selon les critères suivants:
• L‘appareil doit être disposé sur un support solide,
plat, à niveau dont la capacité de charge est
suffisante pour l´appareil et pour les choses les
plus lourdes devant être peser.
• Ne disposez pas l‘appareil dans un environne-
ment chaud, mouillé ou très humide ou à proxi
mité de matériaux inammables.
Plaque signalétique
La plaque signalétique avec les données de per-
formance se trouve dans le compartiment à piles
sous l’appareil.
18 Commande et fonctionnement
Ce chapitre est consacré à des indications import-
antes sur la commande de l‘appareil. Pour éviter
tout risque et dégradations veuillez observer les
indications.
Insérez les piles
1. Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment
2. Piles et insérez 2 piles neuves
(1,5 V, AAA –non fournies).
Veillez à placer les piles dans le bon sens.
3. Fermez le compartiment à piles.
Alimentation par piles
En cas de faible recharge de la batterie, l’écran
affiche « Lo » et la balance s’éteint elle-même après
un court instant. Remplacez les piles comme décrit
sous « Insertion des piles ». Retirez les piles du
compartiment à piles si vous n’utilisez pas la balance
pendant une longue période.

Mise en marche de l’appareil
Pesage
1. Retirez la bande de xation de l’appareil et
retirez le plateau de pesée/couvercle.
2. Placez la balance sur une surface stable et plane.
3. Placez le plateau de pesée sur la surface de
pesée.
4. Appuyez sur le bouton « On/O » pour allumer
la balance. L’appareil démarre dans la dernière
unité de mesure sélectionnée et affiche zéro.
5. Placez les objets à peser.
6. Le poids s’affiche.
Fonction tare
1. Placez l’objet à peser sur le plateau de pesée.
2. L’affichage LED indique le poids.
3. Appuyez longuement sur le bouton
« Unité/Tare ».
4. TARE clignote 2 fois à l‘écran et l’indicateur
affiche zéro.
5. Si nécessaire, placez des objets supplémentaires
à peser dessus.
6. Lorsque vous retirez l’objet à peser, la balance
affiche un poids négatif.
7. Répétez l’étape 3 et l’écran affichera zéro.
 Vous pouvez également placer
d’autres récipients appropriés
sur la surface de pesée et les peser.
 Si l’affichage oscille entre deux valeurs, appuyez
sur le bouton « Unité/Tare ».

20 Elimination des appareils usés
Les appareils électriques et électroniques con-

Mais ils contiennent également des produits
nocifs qui sont indispensables au fonctionne-
ment et à la sécurité.
Ces derniers peuvent être nocifs pour les personnes
ou pour l‘environnement en cas d‘élimination dans
les ordures ménagères ou de traitement incorrect.
Ne jamais jeter les anciens appareils avec les ordures
ménagères.
 Portez les vieux appareils
électriques et électroniques
dans les points de collecte et
de recyclage près de chez vous. Le cas échéant in
formez-vous auprès de la mairie, des services des
ordures ou de votre concessionnaire.
 Assurez-vous que votre ancien appareil reste
hors de portée des enfants jusqu‘à son transport
dénitif.
21 Garantie
Sur ce produit nous accordons une garantie de 24
mois à partir de la date d‘achat pour les manques
et les défauts de fabrication ou de matériaux. La
garantie ne concerne pas les dégâts causés par une
utilisation ou une manipulation non conforme, ainsi
que les défauts qui n‘inuencent que faiblement le
fonctionnement ou la valeur de l‘appareil.
D‘autre part ne sont pas garantis également les
pièces d‘usure, les dommages de transport dans la
mesure où ils ne sont pas sous notre responsabilité,
ainsi que les dommages occasionnés par des répa-
rations qui n‘ont pas été eectuées par nos soins.
La construction et la puissance de cet appareil sont
conçues pour un usage ménager privé. Un éventuel
usage commercial reste couvert par la garantie dans

 Una riparazione dell’apparecchio durante
il periodo di garanzia dovrà essere
eettuata soltanto da un servizio Clienti
autorizzato dal produttore, altrimenti
decade ogni diritto di garanzia per danni
che ne conseguono.
 Componenti difettosi dovranno essere
sostituiti soltanto da pezzi di ricambio
originali. Solo con questi pezzi vi è la
garanzia, che i requisiti di sicurezza siano
soddisfatti.
24 Messa in funzione
In questo capitolo riceverà indicazioni importanti
sulla messa in funzione dell’apparecchio. Osservi le
indicazioni per evitare pericoli e danni.

 Materiali d’imballaggio non dovranno essere
utilizzati come giocattoli. Sussiste il pericolo di
soocamento.
