Lees voordat u begint zorgvuldig deze handleiding zodat u het apparaat correct kunt installeren en gebruiken.
Schade als gevolg van het niet volgen van de instructies vermeld in deze handleiding, maakt de garantie te
allen tijde ongeldig.
Het apparaat is bestemd voor professioneel gebruik in hotels, op markten, in supermarkten en tijdens
evenementen. Er wordt geadviseerd deze handleiding goed te bewaren voor uzelf en toekomstige gebruikers.

TYPEPLAATJE
Op de zijkant (zie afbeelding als voorbeeld) van het apparaat bevindt
zich het typeplaatje. Er wordt verzocht deze niet te verwijderen.
Aan de hand van het typeplaatje kan bijvoorbeeld worden achterhaald
wanneer de mengkneedmachine is aangeschaft (zie PO) en uit welke
productielijn (zie SN) deze voortkomt. Deze informatie kan essentieel zijn
met betrekking tot bijvoorbeeld de garantie. Ook bevat het belangrijke
informatie zoals de spanning en het vermogen om het apparaat veilig aan te kunnen sluiten.
TRANSPORT EN OPSLAG:
INDOOR
USE ONLY
Tijdens het transport moet het apparaat te allen tijde zorgvuldig worden verpakt en mag het
niet blootstaan aan sterke trillingen of verschuivingen.
Sla het ingepakte apparaat op in een goed geventileerde ruimte zonder corrosieve gassen.
Plaats het nooit ondersteboven en bescherm het tegen regen als u het door omstandigheden
een korte tijdsduur buiten moet opslaan.
VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN EN GEBRUIKSOMGEVING:
1. Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal en eventueel aanwezige beschermfolie van het apparaat.
Let op!, het bedieningspaneel bevat ook een plastic beschermfolie.
Verwijder deze ter bevordering van het gebruikersgemak.
2. Plaats het apparaat waterpas op een stevige en goed geventileerde ondergrond, met links en rechts ten
minste 10 cm vrije ruimte en aan de achterkant ten minste 20 cm vrije ruimte (tot bijv. de muur).
3. Plaats het apparaat niet op tapijt, een theedoek, een tafelkleed (vinyl) of een andere ondergrond die
niet bestand is tegen hoge temperaturen.
4. Voorkom blokkade van het ventilatierooster.
5. Plaats tijdens het gebruik geen spullen voor het apparaat om ervoor te zorgen dat het op elk gewenst
moment kan worden bediend.
6. Het apparaat is niet bedoeld om te worden bediend met behulp van een externe timer of een
afzonderlijk, op afstand bediend-systeem
7. De gebruiker moet een geschikte voedingsschakelaar, zekering en aardlekschakelaar installeren in
de buurt van het apparaat. Zorg ervoor dat de schakelaar altijd goed bereikbaar blijft, zodat hij
gemakkelijk te bedienen is of er in geval van gevaar direct actie kan worden ondernomen.
8. Het apparaat moet worden aangesloten op een geaard stopcontact.
Controleer dit voordat u begint.
9. Stop de stekker nooit met natte handen in het stopcontact.
10. Stop de stekker nooit in een verlengsnoer of stopcontact waar meerdere apparaten op aangesloten zijn.

11. Indien de stekker niet goed aansluit op het stopcontact, mag u deze uit veiligheidsvoorzorgen hier niet
op aansluiten.
12. Voordat u het apparaat in werking zet dient u te controleren of het apparaat beschadigd is en of alle
benodigde onderdelen aanwezig zijn.
13. Controleer altijd of de aansluitingen van alle elektrische onderdelen van het apparaat stevig vastzitten.
14. Als de stroomkabel vervangen moet worden, moet dit worden uitgevoerd door een gecertificeerd(e)/
gekwalificeerd(e) persoon/monteur. De kabel dient te worden vervangen door eenzelfde/ gelijke kabel.
15. Laat reparaties van het apparaat alleen uitvoeren door een professionele (erkende) elektro-installateur.
16. Als u iets abnormaals constateert, dient u het apparaat direct uit te schakelen en wellicht uw
servicemonteur te contacteren. Na het controleren en/of verhelpen van het probleem kunt u weer
verdergaan.
17. Houdt kinderen te allen tijde buiten de directe omgeving van het apparaat, dit om met name de kans
op gevaar en wonden te voorkomen.
VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES:
Ontvetten:
1. Voordat u het apparaat in werking stelt dient u de standaard onderdelen (kom, deeghaak, klopper en
garde) en de buitenkant van het apparaat grondig schoon te maken met warm water, een doek en een
kleine hoeveelheid schoonmaakmiddel. Spoel het apparaat zelf nooit af onder de kraan, dit kan de
elektrische onderdelen ernstig beschadigen. Zorg bovendien dat voordat u het apparaat in werking
stelt, u het goed heeft afgedroogd.
2. Plaats de onderdelen terug op het apparaat.
REGULIER GEBRUIK:
1. Plaats uitsluitend voedsel en geen non food artikelen in de kom. Denk hierbij aan gereedschap,
bakschalen, papier of folie; etc.
2. Gebruik daarnaast geen onderdelen anders dan die CaterChef standaard meelevert en dus niet van
CaterChef afkomstig zijn. CaterChef neemt geen verantwoordelijkheid voor schade toegebracht aan het
apparaat door gebruik van de ’verkeerde’ onderdelen.
3. Bedek het apparaat nooit met folie. Dit kan oververhitting en daarom gevaar opleveren.
4. De timer is er alleen om de kooktijd in te stellen, niet om de snelheid te bedienen.
5. Verlaat de omgeving van het apparaat nooit gedurende gebruik.
6. Verplaats het apparaat nooit gedurende gebruik.
7. Raak het apparaat (behalve het controlepaneel) nooit aan gedurende gebruik.
8. Na gebruik of indien u het apparaat en zijn omgeving wil verlaten, dient het apparaat te worden
uitgeschakeld. (Gebruik hiervoor de schakelaar).
Laat om enig (brand)gevaar te voorkomen de stekker na gebruik nooit in het stopcontact zitten.
9. Trek bij ontkoppeling van het apparaat van het stroomnet, nooit aan het snoer, maar uitsluitend aan de
stekker.
10. Wanneer u het apparaat verplaats, dient u dit te doen door het apparaat aan de onderzijde op
te tillen. Pak het apparaat nooit aan de bovenzijde (rand) vast om zo gevaar en beschadiging te
voorkomen.

Hoe de mengkom te plaatsen
• De mengkom dient eerst (nog voor het roerwerk) geïnstalleerd te worden.
Om de mengkom te instaleren dient de komhouder in de laagste positie te staan.
Plaats de mengkom zodat de beugel aan de achterkant, uitgelijnd is met de komhouder.
Zorg ook dat de positioneer-pennen, op de voorzijde van de beugel, passen in de gaten aan de zijkant
van de kom. Bevestig de kom ten slotte met de klemmen van de beugel.
Hoe een roerwerk te plaatsen
• Om een roerwerk te installeren, moet de kom in de laagste stand staan.
Plaats het roerwerk in de kom, druk het op de as en draai deze een kwartslag rechtsom in de as zodat
de pin in de sleuf van de schacht past. Nu is het roerwerk goed geïnstalleerd en kan het niet van de pin
afvallen.
Controleer dit altijd goed, voordat u te werk gaat.

In werking stellen en gebruik
• Let op!
• ON betekent ‘aan’;
• OFF betekent ‘uit’;
• SPEED betekent ‘snelheid’;
• TIMER betekent ‘tijdklok’;
De mengkneedmachine heeft 5 snelheden.
De timer kan worden ingesteld tot 30 minuten.
Druk op ON/OFF om de machine aan en uit te zetten. Deze functie werkt alleen als de kom goed is
bevestigd, de lift omhoog staat en de beschermkap van de kom is gesloten.
Als de kom naar beneden wordt gehaald of de beschermkap wordt verschoven, zal het apparaat
automatisch worden uitgeschakeld (OFF) middels een micro-schakelaar. Deze microschakelaar is er om u te
beschermen tegen verwondingen. U kunt tijdens gebruik ingrediënten toevoegen middels de schenkopening
die u kunt vinden op de rechterkant van de beschermkap van de kom.
Tijdens gebruik kunt u de snelheid aanpassen.
Tijdens gebruik kunt u de tijdklok niet verstellen. Wilt u dit toch doen? Druk dan eerst op ON/OFF om
het apparaat uit te schakelen en stel de tijdklok opnieuw in. Druk vervolgens weer op ON/OFF om het
apparaat weer te activeren.
SCHOONMAKEN EN ONDERHOUD:
Stap 1: Na gebruik dient het apparaat eerst te worden uitgeschakeld, waarna u de strekker uit het
stopcontact dient te verwijderen. Doe dit, te allen tijde, in de beschreven volgorde. Dit voorkomt
kortsluiting of ander mogelijk gevaar.
Stap 2: Verwijder de standaard onderdelen (de kom en het roerwerk).
Stap 3: Maak het apparaat schoon met een natte doek en een kleine hoeveelheid reinigingsmiddel
en droog het vervolgens zorgvuldig af. Gebruik geen wasbenzine, verdunner, schuurborstel of
polijstpoeder om de mengkneedmachine schoon te maken.
• Let op! Spoel het apparaat niet af met water. (Houdt het niet onder de kraan). Dit kan het apparaat en
zijn onderdelen beschadigen en dit kan leiden tot gevaar.
• Reinig het apparaat nooit met een rvs-borstel. Dit veroorzaakt krassen en beschadigd het apparaat.
• Gebruik een stofzuiger om (voorzichtig) vervuiling en afval te verwijderen uit de luchtventilatie.
• Bewaar het apparaat binnen en droog.
• De transmissiebehuizing en planetaire tandwielen zijn gesmeerd met speciaal vet die meerdere jaren
meegaat. Wanneer het vet aan vervanging toe is moet dat gedaan worden door een bevoegde
(gecertificeerde) service monteur.
• Zorg dat voordat u het apparaat wilt onderhouden, de stekker uit het stopcontact is verwijderd.
Als de mixer niet werkt of is beschadigd, controleer dan het volgende:
1. Of de stekker in het stopcontact zit;
2. Of de stekker en/of het snoer beschadigd zijn;
3. Of de microschakelaar werkt.
4. Indien het nummer 2 of 3 is of er zich een ander probleem voordoet, dient u contact op te nemen met
uw lokale dealer of erkende servicemonteur.
Volgens de richtlijn betreffende afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur (AEEA) moet
AEEA gescheiden ingezameld en verwerkt worden. Als dit product in de toekomst ooit afgedankt
moet worden, doe dit dan NIET via het huishoudelijk afval. Breng dit product indien mogelijk
naar een afvalstation.

TYPE PLATE
The type plate (the picture is an example) is located on the side of the
device. You are requested not to remove it. The type plate can for example
be used to determine, when the item was purchased (view PO) and from
which production line (view SN) it originates. This information may be
essential with regard to warranty. It also contains important information
such as the voltage and power supply which determines the ability to
connect the device safe.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE:
INDOOR
USE ONLY
As long as the mixers are packed, please make sure you never place them upside down.
This could damage the appliance. During transport, the product should be placed carefully.
Make sure you prevent any drastic vibration during transport. You should never place or store
this product outside or in open air for a longer period of time than a few hours
(not even packed). It should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse without corrosive gasses.
When, in case of an emergency, you need to store them temporarily outside, you should take measures to
protect them from rain or moisture.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE ENVIRONMENT:
1. Remove all packaging material and any protective film from the device. Please also remove the foil from
the control panel to make it more user-friendly.
2. This product should be placed in a balanced and well ventilated spot and its left and right sides should
be free from obstacles for more than 10cm. It’s back-side should be free from the obstacles (like a brick
wall etc) for more than 20cm.
3. The supply voltage of the device (230 Volt/50 Hz/1 Ph) must be compressed with the voltage of the
mains.
4. The user should install the suitable power switch, fuse and leakage-protector near to the equipment.
5. During operation, do not place any stuff in front of the appliance to make sure it could be operated at
any time needed.
6. Do not place the appliance on a carpet, a tea towel, tablecloth (vinyl) or another surface that cannot
withstand high temperatures. This could cause fire hazard.
7. Avoid blockings of the ventilation grille (you can find it on the backside of the appliance).
8. The user must install a suitable power switch, fuse, and earth leakage breaker near the device. Make
sure that the switch is always easily accessible, so that it is easy to operate in the event of danger and
immediate action can be taken.
9. The device is not intended to be operated by an external timer or a separate remote control.
10. Before usage, this equipment must be connected (safe) to a grounded socket.
Before starting up, you should check whether the socket you want to use is grounded.

11. Never put the plug in the socket with wet hands. This is very dangerous.
12. Never plug the power cord into an extension cord or wall outlet to which multiple devices are
connected.
13. If the plug does not connect properly to the socket, it may not be connected for safety reasons.
14. Before usage you should check whether all components are available and whether the appliance is not
damaged.
15. Make sure whether all the connections of all the electric elements of the product are firm or not.
16. When you change the power cable, you should select the same model.
17. If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the appliance, do not do this by yourself. This is forbidden.
This must always be done by a professional electrician.
18. If there are any abnormal phenomenon’s during usage, you must turn off the appliance immediately.
Please contact your local dealer in case of doubt about the product it’s safety. Do not repair the
appliance by yourself. This should always be done by a technical professional.
19. During operation or cooling down: always keep the appliance out of reach of children. This, mainly to
prevent danger and injuries.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Degrease:
1. Before operating for the first time, clean the device (and the parts (such as the bowl and mixing tools))
with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of detergent. Do not rinse the appliance under the
tap, this could cause serious damage to the appliance. In addition, make sure that you have dried it
properly before you start operating the device.
2. Replace the parts.
REGULAR USE:
1. Never put non-food related products such as plastic or paper inside the bowl.
2. Never use other parts than the ones which are from CaterChef. CaterChef is not taking any
responsibilty for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts.
3. Do never cover the appliance with foil; this could cause overheating and therefore danger.
4. The timer is only to set the cooking time, not to control the speed.
5. Never leave the surroundings of the appliance during operation.
6. Never move the appliance during operation.
7. Never touch the appliance (besides the control panel) during operation.
8. When disconnecting the device from the power, never pull from the cord, only the plug.
9. After usage, press ON/OFF, to turn it OFF.
10. After usage the electricity needs to be cut from the socket to prevent fire hazard. Make sure the switch
is turned OFF before you cut the electricity from the socket, this is to prevent short circuit or danger.
11. When you move the appliance from its place, always grab it at the bottom.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
How to place the mixing bowl
• The mixing bowl must first be installed (before the agitator). To install the mixing bowl, the bowl holder
must be in the lowest position. Use the lift-handle to put the holder in this position.
Place the mixing bowl so that the bracket on the back is aligned with the bowl holder. Also make sure
that the locating pins on the front of the bracket fit into the holes on the side of the bowl. Finally, fix the
bowl with the clamps of the bracket.
How to place the mixing tools
• To install an agitator, the bowl must be in the lowest position.
Place the agitator in the bowl, press it onto the shaft and turn it 1/4th clockwise into the shaft so that the
pin fits into the shaft slot. Now the agitator is properly installed and cannot fall off the pin. Always check
this carefully before proceeding.

OPERATION AND USE
The mixing kneader has 5 speeds.
The timer can be set up to 30 minutes.
Press ON/OFF to switch the machine on and off.
This function only works if the bowl is properly attached, the lift is raised and the bowl guard is closed.
If the bowl is lowered or the protective cover is moved, the device will automatically switch off (OFF) via
a micro switch. This micro switch will protect you against injuries. During use, you can add ingredients
through the pouring spout found on the right side of the bowl’s protective cap.
You can adjust the speed during use.
You cannot adjust the timer during use. Do you want to do this anyway? Then first press ON / OFF to
switch off the appliance and set the timer again. Then press ON / OFF again to reactivate the device.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Step 1: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the
socket. Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.
Step 2: Remove the parts (such as the bowl and mixing tools).
Step 3: Clean the parts and the device with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of cleaning-
detergent and then dry it thoroughly. Do not use benzine, thinner, scouring brush or polishing
powder to clean the device.
• Pay attention! Do not rinse the device with water (don’t wash it by using the tap). This could cause
damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations.
• Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages the device.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to (gently) remove dirt and debris from the air-ventilation-grille.
• Always store the mixer inside and keep it dry.
• The transmission case and planetary gears are filled with special grease that will last for several years.
Replacement of the grease must always be done by an authorized (certified) service technician.
• Before maintaining the mixer, always make sure you have removed the plug from the socket.
If the mixer does not work or is damaged, check the following:
1. Whether the plug is in the socket;
2. Whether the plug and / or the cord is damaged;
3. Whether the microswitch works.
If it is the latter or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician.
According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be
separately collected and treated. If at any time in future you need to dispose of this product
please do NOT dispose of this product with household waste. Please send this product to WEEE
collecting points where available.
