CARBON FIBER REACH KIT MANUAL
Thank you for your purchase of the Cen-Tec Systems carbon
ber Reach system designed for cleaning of elevated surfaces
to a height of 40 feet without the use of ladders or elevated
platforms. The 94753 Reach system allows cleaning with one,
two or three lightweight carbon ber poles as necessary to the
application. A full compliment of adaptor wands and cleaning
nozzles as well as convenient storage bags for storage and
transport are all included in the solution.

The primary pole system supporting the Cen-Tec carbon ber Reach series is
comprised of three carbon ber telescopic pole each pole measuring 6 foot
collapsed and extending to 11 feet maximum length.
The set is comprised of a base pole connecting to the vacuum hose. A middle
extension pole, and a top pole for engaging the adaptors wands for use of the
wide range of nozzle.
The base pole which connects to the hose is easily identied by the hose cu
that can be attached to standard 2” commercial vacuum hoses like Cen-Tec’s
60110 vacuum hose and 1.5” vacuum hoses.
When working at height a 2” hose provides for the airow necessary to
eectively capture debris.

The poles can be easily extended without the use of tools using a positive
snap release system which can be re-engaged to secure the wand at the
desired length.
The cu can be attached to a 1.5” hose for smaller vacuums such as
backpacks.
The poles can be connected in series using the same snap release system.
Using two poles provided cleaning of surfaces from 25 to 30 feet depending
on the adaptor wand and cleaning nozzle selected for the job. Adding the
extension pole between the base wand and upper wand permits cleaning of
surfaces up to 40 feet.

Each internal pole has red warning bands alerting you to the approaching
end of the extension. Once the red band comes into view to insure a stable
connection and avoid damage to the wands collapse the wand until the red
band disappears and lock the wand in place. This captured length protects
the stability of the wand system at height and prevent damage to the wand
from unsupported leverage when working against the surface being cleaned.
The top pole has a chrome metal locking adaptor to attach the desired wand
on the end.

Each of the four adaptor wands for holding the tool are designed to lock on
to adaptor mounted on the top carbon ber wand in the system for a positive
connection that will not separate during use.
Each of the four adaptor wands features an ABS compression locking system
for securing the cleaning nozzle to the wand. This locking mechanism
complete the system with all components from the oor to the cleaning nozzle
engaging the surface locked in place preventing unintended separation.

TRANTOR
When cleaning tasks day to day are
at heights 30 feet and below with an
occasional application to 35 feet the
Trantor is an ideal vacuum solution. The
Trantor provides airow to 240 CFM critical
to eective source capture of debris by the
vacuum. The Trantor features a tangential
entry point for the hose under a cyclonic
cone and HEPA ltration with lter shaker
designed to preserve airow and extended
lter life.
TITANUS
When cleaning tasks day to day are at
heights above 30 feet consider the 3 motor
Titanus which provides 360 CFM of airow
demanded when working at heights above
30 feet. The Titanus features a tangential
entry point, cyclonic ltering cone, and
a washable HEPA lter that captures ne
particulate.

When using three poles it is helpful to place the base pole against a xed
surface position yourself at a point on the middle extension pole and use the
pivot base pole as a pivot point to walk the poles up to the vertical position.
When applications require the use of multiple poles begin by fully extending the
upper poles rst which can’t be extended once elevated leaving only the base
pole collapsed for adjustment as needed to match the surface being cleaned.
Once the system is elevated allowing the upper nozzle to touch to a surface for
support will make it easier to extend the base pole to the desired length.
