Congratulations. You have pur hased an advan ed surround sound system for
presentations. Please read this instru tion guide thoroughly before attempting to
use the Mediaphile AV Ensemble produ ts. A opy of this guide and a spe sheet
with hook-up drawings an be printed from our web site at
www. eta easound. om.
1. There are three (3) sour e-input plugs on the Ensemble speaker base
that an have either mono or stereo inputs depending on your “sour e”,
i.e., omputer, VCR, DVD, VCD, et . If required, use only Mediaphile
AV approved in-line volume ontrols for onne tions. The right angle
plug of the volume ontrol must be plugged into the “sour e”. In order to
onne t to the speaker, use a single male-to-male extension whi h is also
supplied with your Ensemble a essories. One end will fit the volume
ontrol and the other will plug dire tly into one of the Inputs labeled A,
B, or C. Refer to the hook-up drawings on our spe ifi ation sheet if you
have questions.
2. Do not adjust the volume on the “sour e” above 75 %, be ause
omputers and CD players exhibit distortion at high volume levels.
3. Turn the volume down as low as it will go on your in-line volume
ontrol.
4. If your sour e has a “BASS BOOST”, or spe ial effe ts like
Spatializer, SRS, or ontrols that say “JAZZ”, “ROCK”, “BLUES”, et .,
turn them off for now!
5. The Ensemble speaker requires power from the Mediaphile AV
approved “Power Adapter/Conditioner”. Plug the power adapter into a
suitable sour e of 110v power and the opposite small end into the base of
the Ensemble speaker. (It will only fit in one lo ation.)
6. Pla e Ensemble speaker on any flat surfa e and turn on the sour e
and slowly turn up the volume on the in-line volume ontrol. Be sure to
use a high quality re ording to fully appre iate the awesome sound of the
speaker. On e you are satisfied with the sound, add another sour e to one
of the other input ja ks so you an sele t whi hever one you want to hear
without having to hange onne tions every time.

Accessory Kit
Volume control- 1 is supplied. Use per instru tions on other side of this
page. Take parti ular note of the right angle plug. It needs to be
onne ted to the sour e of sound, i.e., VCR, omputer, DVD,
mi rophone, et . that you are using. The other end goes to the speaker
inputs, hoose any one, A, B, or C.
VERY IMPORTANT: If connecting the Mediaphile AV CVSII
microphone to the Ensem le, use the Volume Control and Line Cord as
instructed. The right angle plug of the Volume Control must e
plugged directly into the LINE OUT jack of the CVSII receiver.
Stereo line cord- 1 is supplied. Use between straight end of Volume
Control and speaker as an extension able. Or, use between the
headphone ja k and speaker inputs if supplied volume ontrol is not
required.
RCA to 3.5mm ada ter- 1 is supplied. Atta h to mono outputs of TV’s,
VCR’s, et . Plug the supplied Volume Control right angle plug into
3.5mm female ja k of RCA adapter.
Stereo RCA ada tor cable to 3.5mm stereo- 1 is supplied. The red and
white RCA style plugs on one end and the 3.5 mm small diameter female
ja k on the other end identify this able. Plug the supplied Volume
Control right angle plug into 3.5mm female ja k of this Stereo RCA
Ada ter. Use it with the Stereo Line Cord as des ribed above if an
extension is required.
