Facial Steamer System

Please read these instructions carefully before using your new Facial Sauna
for the rst time.
Please keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
WARNINGS
• DO NOT use on skin that is insensitive to heat or if you suer with poor
blood circulation.
• DO NOT use on swollen, inamed or damaged skin.
• DO NOT use the Facial Sauna on a soft or unstable surface, always use when
placed on a rm at surface.
• DO NOT use this appliance near bath tubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
• DO NOT wrap the mains cable around the Facial Sauna for storage; this may
lead to cable damage and cause early failure.
• DO NOT use the Facial Sauna for any purpose other than that it was
designed for.
• DO NOT use the Facial Sauna without water for prolonged periods of time,
this may cause
damage.
• DO NOT use any attachments with this Facial Sauna that are not provided.
• DO NOT use chemicals or other treatments in the water, this can lead to
damage.
• After use clean the appliance to avoid the accumulation of grease and
other residues.
• Always unplug the Facial Sauna after use and allow it to cool down in a safe
place away from surfaces that may be damaged by heat.
• Always unplug the unit before adding water.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
• Some parts of this Facial Sauna will get warm or hot in use; take care not to
touch hot surfaces – danger of burning.
• Regularly inspect the Facial Sauna and its mains cable for signs of damage.
The supply cord cannot be replaced; if the Facial Sauna or its mains cord is
found to be damaged it should be scrapped.
IMPORTANT
• This Facial Sauna is suitable for use on mains supply voltage in the range
220 - 240 volts ac
• Before using for the rst time ensure all packaging is removed and
disposed of in a responsible manner.
• This Facial Sauna is intended for home use only.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Facial Sauna is ideal for rejuvenating the skin by helping to remove impurities, for use when
removing make-up or, when used with the nose attachments for helping to relieve congestion.
HOW TO USE
1. Stand the Facial Sauna on a at rm surface close enough to a power socket to prevent
stretching the mains cable.
2. Place the large facial mask or the nose attachment on to the unit as shown below, make sure
the attachment is correctly tted.

3. Check the Facial Sauna is unplugged from the mains supply then ll the measuring cup
provided with 40ml of water and pour the water into the evaporation bowl on the Facial
Sauna. Do not add more water until empty. Its important to make sure the Steam Protector
is tted in the top of the evaporation bowl to prevent hot water spitting onto your skin. DO
NOT add any chemicals or other treatment to the water, this can lead to damage.
4. Plug the Facial Sauna into the mains supply, it is designed to run on mains supply voltages
in the range 220 – 240 Volts. 40ml of water should allow for about 30 minutes of treatment
time.
5. Using the ‘P+M’ button on the front of the Facial Sauna select either ‘Pre-set’ timer (red light
comes on) or ‘Manual’ timer (green light comes on). See ‘TIMER’ for details of how to set the
timer module.
6. Once turned on it takes about 15 minutes to produce steam; when steam starts to rise,
gently place your face on the rim of the mask as shown.
7. If used in timer mode the Facial Sauna will run for a pre-set time after which the red light will
ash, a buzzer will sound and the Facial Sauna will then turn o. If used in the manual mode
the Facial Sauna will remain on until you manually turn it o.
8. When using , we recommend that you change position every few minutes to get an even
sauna and to reduce the risk of discomfort.
9. After use, turn the Facial Sauna o and disconnect from the mains supply . Remove any
attachments, drain any remaining water and allow to cool down.
ATTACHMENTS
The Facial Sauna comes complete with two attachments, see General Description:
• Large face mask, used for general facial saunas and during the removal of make-up.
• Nose attachment for use when treating congestion.

TIMER
The timer unit consists of 4 buttons, two lights (red and green) and a display .
P+M button Press once for Manual mode (green light) display shows ‘MANU’
Press a second time for Preset timer mode (red light) display shows ‘TIMER’ Press for a third time
to turn o (both lights OFF)
T button When in ‘TIMER’ mode use the ‘T’ button to increase the selected operating time up to a
maximum of 15 minutes.
S button When in ‘TIMER’ mode, and after selecting a time using the ‘T’ button, press the ‘S’
button to turn the Facial Sauna on, the red light will come on and Facial Sauna will run for the
time selected. At the end of this time the red light will ash and a buzzer will sound and then the
unit will turn o.
We recommend you set the timer function after the Facial Sauna has warmed up and started to
produce steam.
CLEANING
Ensure the Facial Sauna is disconnected from the mains supply and has cooled down after
use. Remove any attachments, drain any excess water from the evaporation pan and clean the
outside case using a damp, not wet, cloth and dry before further use.
DO NOT immerse in water.
DO NOT use petroleum based or ammable cleaning agents because of re risk.
DO NOT use abrasive cleaning agents.
CAUTION: To prevent damage completely remove any mineral or fatty residue after each use,
removal of stubborn lime scale may require a commercial de-scaling agent which is suitable for
use on stainless steel.
WIRING
The mains lead of this appliance is tted with a (BS1363) plug tted with a 3A fuse. If it ever
becomes necessary to replace the fuse only use a fuse of the same rated value and which is
approved to BS 1362. If in doubt contact a qualied electrician.

WARRANTY
In addition to your statutory rights, Champneys agrees that if any defect in materials or
workmanship appears in the product within two years after the original date of consumer
purchase it will repair or, at its option, replace the product free of charge. This applies only if
the product has been used for domestic purposes and has not been damaged through misuse,
accident or neglect and has not been modied or repaired by anyone other than an authorised
agent.
SERVICE INFORMATION
If the Facial Sauna fails to work, please check that it is being used in accordance with these
instructions. It is also important to make sure the fuse in the plug and the fuse in the mains
supply is intact and that the mains supply is turned on.
If after checking the above the product is found to be faulty and it is still within its guarantee
period, it should be returned together with proof of purchase to your nearest Boots store
stocking this or similar products.
Regularly inspect the Facial Sauna and its mains cable for signs of damage. The supply cord
cannot be replaced; if the Facial Sauna or its mains cord is found to be damaged it should be
scrapped.
This product contains no user serviceable parts.
DISPOSAL
In order to minimise hazards to health and the environment and ensure that materials can be
recycled, this product should be disposed of at a separate collection facility for waste electrical
and electronic equipment.
