Zerio Plus
The Zerio Plus Radio Fire Alarm System has been
designed to meet the requirements of EN54 Part
25.
With the wireless system up to 240 devices across a maximum of 100
zones is achievable; meaning the system oers the perfect solution
for small domestic buildings up to large commercial premises. The
panel, although simple to use, oers sophisticated features more
commonly seen in larger hard wired equivalents.
Setting the system up could not be simpler. Each device is
programmed onto the system using a clearly laid out user-friendly
menu structure. There is no need to connect the device with a
programming lead, as the conguration is achieved by radio.
Location descriptions can be added by using a PC or simply
programmed using a standard PC keyboard plugged into the panel
or, for a single device, the in-built keypad.
With analogue detector functionality and complex multi-path
fault tolerant signalling, the system minimizes false alarms whilst
providing maximum protection for the occupants of a building. In
order to increase the radio range of the system, either wired or radio
booster panels can be installed at appropriate positions. During the
automatic set-up the system will congure this equipment to ensure
the most eective operation is achieved.

Tracey Park Golf Club were under pressure to install a re alarm
and detection system; being a listed building that was constantly
in use, running cables would not have been an acceptable option.
A wireless radio system was proposed due to the constraints and
within only a few days the Zerio Plus wireless system was installed
and commissioned. The EN54 Zerio Plus system met all the clients
needs for a simple to use cost eective system; without the hassle of
wiring and cable management detracting from the aesthetics of the
building.

The EDA-R5000 Zerio Plus Wireless Smoke Detector utilises the latest in
surface mount and radio communication technology to provide a high
quality, reliable wireless smoke detector and combined sounder.
The smoke chamber and internal workings of the EDA-R5000 are housed
in an attractive low prole exterior.
The unit is completely self-contained an requires no external cabling and
is powered by a lithium battery assembly contained within the detector
housing. A mounting base is supplied with every detector which requires
only two screws for installation.

signed specically to be used with the wireless re alarm control panels.
The EDA-D5000 Zerio Plus Wireless Heat Detector utilises the latest in
surface mount and radio communication technology to provide a high
quality, reliable wireless smoke detector. The heat detector element and
internal workings are housed in an attractive low prole exterior.
The unit is completely self-contained and requires no external cabling; and
is powered by a lithium battery assembly contained within the detector

The EDA-D6000 & the EDA-D6030 utilise the latest in surface mount and

Visual Indicators
The EDA-A6000 Zerio Plus Wireless Wall Sounder is a wall mounted and
designed specically to be used with the Zerio Plus range of wireless re
alarm panels.
In normal operation the EDA-A6000 Zerio Plus Wireless Sounder continu-
ously listens via its built in radio receiver to any instruction emanating
from its controlling panel. Once operating it continues to listen for further
instructions to change tone or silence.
To ensure that the integrity of the communication link is maintained,
frequent transmissions are made by the EDA-A6000 to the control panel
so that in the unlikely event of the radio signal failing to reach the panel a
fault is reported.
The EDA-A6060 and EDA-A6030 are White Wall Mounted Fire Alarm Visual
Indicators.
The F/EDA-A6030 has a sounder incorporated.
To ensure that the integrity of the communication link is maintained,
frequent transmissions are made by the EDA-A6060 or EDA-A6030 to the
control panel so that in the unlikely event of the radio signal failing to
reach the panel a fault is reported.

In normal operation the EDA-T6080 Zerio Plus Wireless Output unit
continuously listens via its built in radio receiver to any instruction

contact output switch to operate external equipment.

The EDA-T5100 is a silence button for use with the Zerio Plus Wireless Fire
Alarm System.

The Zerio Plus Wireless Signal Booster Panel is designed to relay radio
signals from the main control panel around the site to the peripheral
devices and other booster panels.
The EDA-Z6010 Wired Intelligent Antenna is designed for use with the
Zerio Plus range of control panels. This unit is designed to be hard wired
from the main control panel and positioned in areas where the signal
strength from the main control panel is low.
The EDA-Y5000 Zerio Plus Antenna is a dipole type antenna with 2.5 metre
pre-terminated cable designed for use with the Zerio Plus range of control
panels.
This antenna replaces the stubby type antenna supplied with the
EDA-Z5008 & EDA-Z5020 panels and is designed to increase the signal
strength of the wireless re alarm system.
