INTRODUCTION
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation work, operation and maintenance instructions of the
CHARDER W320 Scale, please read this manual completely before installing and operating scale.
Safety Precautions
Please follow these safety precautions:
• Verify AC Adapter input voltage matches the local AC power supply.
•Do not insert liquids or foreign object.
• Do not operate the scale in hostile environments.
• Do not drop loads or leave permanent load on the platform. This may damage the measuring system.
• Do not place the scale upside down on the pan.
•Do not open the scale. Never attempt to make repairs yourself because this could be dangerous. The warranty is
void if this stipulation is ignored. The scale may only be opened by authorized personnel.
•Always disconnect the device from the power supply before installing, servicing, cleaning or performing
maintenance.
• Check the power cable regularly for damage. If it is damaged, immediately disconnect the device from the power
supply.

Parts Description
Selecting the Location
Select a firm, vibration-free and horizontal location for the scale. Avoid locations with direct sunlight, excessive air
current, heat sources, or rapid temperature fluctuations.
Make sure that your remote display and scale base are on and within range within 10 meters (30 feet).
Power
W320 support wireless and wired connection.
Wireless connection
Require 10-AA batteries, 4 for remote display, 6 for scale base.
Wired connection
Connect the AC Adaptor for scale base and remote display to the AC mains supply. Connect the plug to the AC jack on
the bottom of the scale as shown in the illustration below. The power outlet should be close to the scale and easily
accessible.
Battery Power
The remote display uses 4-AA batteries and the scale base uses 6-AA batteries, both units will automatically switch to
battery operation if using wireless connection there is a power failure or the power cord is removed to provide
uninterrupted scale operation.
Note: When low battery , is displayed, the scale will shut off after 120 seconds.
CAUTION:
Risk of explosion can occur if replaced with the wrong type or connected improperly.
Do not disassemble, repair or otherwise manipulate the battery socket.
Obey the local laws and regulations on disposing the battery.

Turning Scale On/Off
To turn the remote display on and off, press the [ON/OFF] button. When turn on the remote display will display
and start flashing, then the display shows “0” and enters the active weighing mode.
To turn the scale base on and off, push the [ON/OFF] switch button that under the bottom of the scale base.
Notes:
If display appear with flash, and “0”does not show, press [Channel Switch] button to match up
with the scale’s channel. If display channel is setup on Channel-1, please select Channel-1 for scale base as well.
Channel setting instructions please see SETTINGS for instructions.
Tare Operation & Setting
When power on the scale and if the weight on the scale is within the initial zero tolerance, the scale will display zero
automatically.
Although there is nothing on the pan and the display is not zero, press [TARE] button or hand over the Tare sensor to
set zero to the scale.
Changing Units of Measure
In weighing mode, use [UNIT] to display the next available measuring unit. Repeat process to scroll through all units.
SETTINGS
Channel Setting
Before match up Channel of remote display and scale base, make sure they are turn off and signal range within 10
meters (30 feet).

Scale base channel setting
Flip back the scale base and the dip switch is under the rubber stopper, the dip switch has four switches, only Switch 1,
2 and 3 are active for use, Switch-4 is not available. Setting. A switch that is up is on, a switch that is down is off, by
default, all switches are down(off), see illustration below
Tare Setting
Place an empty container on the scale and press [TARE] or hand over the Tare sensor of remote display. The display
will show a net value of “0”.
To clear the Tare value, press [TARE] or pass your have over the Tare sensorwith the pan empty.
Auto Off Time Setting
Press and hold [ON/OFF] first and press [TARE] button, then release both key until the display show
Press [UNIT], the display will show A_OFF, press [TARE] to enter auto off time setting and press [TARE] to select auto
turn off time or off this function. And press [TARE] and press [HOLD] to see End to confirm setting.
Tare Sensor Off Setting
Press and hold [ON/OFF] first and press [TARE] button, then release both key until the display show
Press [UNIT], the display will show , press [TARE] to enter tare sensor setting and press [TARE] to select on
or off this function. And press [TARE] and press [HOLD] to see End to confirm setting.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Before cleaning, disconnect the power plug from power outlet and remove batteries from the appliance to power off
the both units.
•Clean with a damp cloth and a mild soap or similar agents if necessary, and buffed dry with.
• Do not use any acids, alkalis or strong active solvents to clean the housing or control panels.

WARRANTY
Charder scales are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1(one) year from the date
of purchase. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. Warranty expiration on products returned without proof
of purchase will be determined from the manufacturing date code or the date of shipment to the authorized dealer.
Coverage may be invalidated as this date is previous to purchase date. No other express or implied warranty is given
by Charder.
Freight damage on returns is not covered under warranty.
This warranty does not apply for following reasons, the product has been damaged by accident or misuse, parts and
products of a consumable nature, exposed to radioactive or corrosive materials, has foreign material penetrating to
the inside of the product, or as a result of service or modification by other than Charder.
