-Every employee that uses the machine needs to read this manual before using the machine.
-Keep the machine out of range of children and unautorized people.
-Always use the main switch(B) to switch the machine off.
-Always take the plug out of the socket before the nmaintenance of the machine.
-When one off the safety precautions fales, immediately stop the machine and get it fixed.
-Never try to get by the safety precautions.

Installation of the machine
First mount the plug. (Because of the many rules for electric installations ,different for almost every
country , there isn’t a plug installed at the machine.)
Check if the current of the machine matches the current availlable at your workplace.
Make sure that the engines run in the right direction.
-The blade has to turn in the direction of the arrow.
-The other engine(with sledge) has to run backwards,when the main switch is”on” and the
lid is closed.
When the engines run in the right derection you must bring the machine at startingpoint.(See starting
of the machine)
Mount the de-air screw on the engine of the blade.
Clean the machine propperly with a n on corrosive product suitable for the nutrition industrie.
Adjusting of the machine to other sizes of choclateblocks
By loosen the screws(A) lightely you can adjust the width . Fasten these screws.
You can adjust the height by loosening the 2 screws on the lid.
Now the machine is adjusted for your sizes of chocolate blocks.
You can allways adjust the machine for other sizes of chocolate blocks.
Starting of the machine
Turn the main switch(B) “on”.
Wait ‘till the sledge(C) that has to push the blocks is completely at the end(starting position).
Fill the machine with chocolate blocks.
Put the lid down and fasten the Black button(D).
When the lid isn’t closed the machine doesn’t start.
Push the start button(E)
Select the thickness of the flakes by adjusting the Adjustable timer(F) .
During the flaking you can adjust the thickness at all times.
The flakes will be collected in the plastic containers.
Make sure you switch them before they overflow.
When the chocolate block almost is done the blade stops turning .
The machine will get back at the starting position automaticly.
Take out the rest of the block, put in a new and start again.
By pushing the emergency switch(G) the machine will stop completely . When you retract the
emergency switch and the lid is closed the machine will go to the starting position.
Stopping of the machine during work
When the block isn’t done completely you can stop the machine anyway.
Push the stop button (H).
The sledge will now get back to the starting position.
Set the main switch(B) “off)to turn off the machine completelly.
When you open the lid you can take out the rest of the chocolate.

Stopping of the machine after automatic cycle
When the sledge is back in the starting position you can turn the main switch “off”.
Changing the blade
When the blade isn’t sharp enough anymore you need to sharpen it or replace it.
Disconnect the plug.
Open the lid.
Turn the blade horizontal with the adjusting screws (I) pointing up, loosen the 2 screws.
Turn the blade vertical.
You can slide the blade out at the bottom.
Put in the sharpened blade or the new one.
Turn the blade back into a horizontal position and tighten the 2 adjusting screws .
Caution, make sure that the blade is completelly in the back of the bladeholder and that the
both sides of the blade are about the same distance to the block of chocolate.
Turn the blade (manually) once to make sure the blade doesn’t collide with the Detection for the
blade(J) if it does adjust the detectiondistance.
Problemshooting Cause and solution
Sledge woun’t run when the blade turns: Motor circuit breaker “Q2” is turned off
Reset
The detection of the blade isn’t detecting.
Adjust the detection.
Engine and reduction is broken.
Replacethem.
Sledge pushes only once/turn of the blade. The detection of the blade detects only 1
half of the blade
Adjust the blade or the detection.
The adjustable timer is set to high.
Lower the setting.
The machine woun’t start The circuit breaker “F1” has been turned off.
Turn it on.
Emergency switch is pushed.
Retrackt.
Main switch is turned “off”.
Turnit“on”.
Thelidisopen.
Closeit.
