Ice Combo Technical Manual
Check Point Procedure
1) Check T/R input is AC110V on the PCB Board (Pic. ①).
(ex : Check white & red wire connection)
2) Check Operation Switch is ON.
Check Power Switch is ON. (Pic. ②)

Normal temperature during ice making: 158 ~ 176ºF

1) Check Dryer Temperature

Normal temperature during ice making:
41 ~ 59ºF
(Note: Should be warm when you grab it)
** COLD during ice dispensing
1-4 Dryer Blocking
Check Point Procedure
1) Hot water overflowing caused by Bi-Metal
floating.
* If Bi-Metals overlapped as in the “Abnormal Picture”,
adjust them as in the “Normal Picture”.
(Hot water overflow is caused by higher hot
temperature due to the two Bi-Metal’s overlapping)

Check Point Procedure
Particles may be clogged on the Silicon
Mesh at the Nozzle
connection
1) Once/6 mo (A/S Term).
Check the Mesh and clean or
replace it.
2) Do Not clean water tank AFTER Mesh replacing.
2-1 Nozzle Mesh Blocking
2-2 Squashed Tee Silicon
Check Point Procedure
1) Nozzle injection weakness is caused by kinked silicon
tube connect to the Circulation Pump. 1) Replace Tee Silicon to
Tee Pipe.
2-3 Nozzle Silicon Leak
Check Point Procedure
1) Water shortage caused by Nozzle
Silicone Tube#2 (S
Type) Connection leaking.
1) Tighten with Spring Clip at the Nozzle Silicon Tube#2 (S
Type) connection.
2-4 Curtain Defect
Check Point Procedure
1) Water shortage caused by Curtain
Gap. 1) Replace Curtain.
2-5 Hot Gas Foreign Bodies Check
Check Point Procedure
1) Hot Gas V/V leaking caused by foreign particles.
-
Check temperature at the arrowed area while ice
making.
(Normally below 50ºF)
* When 2 or 3 ice cubes are not be made out of 12.
1) If the Hot Gas V/V Out
area is higher than 50ºF
during ice making, press ON/OFF Ice dispensing
button about 20 times using the Test Board.
2) If you do not have the Test Board, tap the Sol V/V with
soft hammer.

2-6 Dryer Gradient Check
Check Point Procedure
1) Irregular Dryer gradient interrupts flows of refrigerants.

Dryer gradient is -15º.
** In case of ice cubes’
shape is getting worse.
1) Correct the Dryer’s gradient as
-15º.

2-7 Ice Making Correction
Check Point Procedure
1) In case of abnormal ice cubes’
size (Below 80% of
normal).
1) Change the Dip switch from “2”
to “1”.

Check Point Procedure
1. In case of ice is not making in the morning and the
Ice Full LED is ON.
1) Check if it’s Micom
Rev.2 2) Switch to icom
Rev.3
1. CDS sensor recognizes that it is night time when if
surrounded illumination of the unit is below 3 lux
and
the unit stops making ice after maximum 4 times ice
making. When it stops making ice, the Ice Full LED
turns ON.
* Ice Full LED turns ON although the ice tank is still
empty.
2. Mi-com Rev.2 stops making ice for 8 hours after the Ice
Full LED turns ON.
3. Method to turn OFF the Ice Full LED
-
Press and hold the Ice dispensing button for 7 seconds
and more then the Ice Full LED will be turned OFF.
4. Mi-com Rev.3 stops making ice for 6 hours after the Ice
Full LED turns ON. However it makes ice continually
until the ice tank is full even if it is dark.
