Charging Your XLCgo
Before using your XLCgo for the first time, please plug the charger into the power source and
connect the other end to the charging socket on XLCgo or place in charging cradle to fully
charge the battery.
• Use only the supplied charger for charging
• Charging indication will be delayed a few seconds if XLCgo has not been used for a long
period of time.
•Battery Pack model BT198555/BT298555 supplied by SHENZHEN BYD LITHIUM BATTERY
COMPANY LIMITED
•For pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet (power adapter) shall be installed near the
equipment and shall be easily accessible.
•Rating label is at charger bottom.
Status Status Indicator Audio (Earpiece)

Getting Started
Turning Your XLCgo On and Off:
A. Turning on
Push the power switch up
B. Turning off
Push the power switch down
Pairing Your XLCgo with a mobile device
1. Press and hold the Pair button on the side of the XLCgo until the pairing light starts
flashing red and blue and you hear "Start pairing with mobile device."
2. Open the settings on your mobile phone so that it begins searching for new devices.
3. Place the XLCgo and your device where they are close to each other.
4. Search for devices in your settings menu on your mobile device and select “Clarity”
5. When pairing is complete, the XLCgo’s status indicator will be steady blue and you
will hear "mobile device connected."

Pairing XLCgo with Clarity DECT devices
XLCgo pairs with the following Clarity DECT devices as an expandable speakerphone: XLC8,
XLC7BT, XLC3.4+ and XLC4.
1. Step one: Enter pairing mode on DECT base
•Press and hold the [FIND] key on base for 5 seconds, until the visual ringer starts flashing
2. Step two: Enter pairing mode on XLCgo
•Turn on XLCgo. Place it in the charging cradle and press & hold [PAIR] key (around 5
seconds) until you hear "Start pairing with base station" and DECT indicator flashes
green and red alternately. Then XLCgo enters DECT pairing mode.
3. Step three: Connection to the DECT device
•XLCgo is connected with the device automatically as soon as they are paired. When
connected, you hear voice guidance “Base station connected”. If not, it announces
"registration failed."
Reconnecting Your XLCgo
1. If XLCgo has been turned off, it will reconnect to the phone automatically after turning it
on; if not, press reconnect on the phone.
2. If the phone has been powered off and XLCgo is then disconnected, reconnect it via the
phone’s menu when the phone is on again. Or, turn XLCgo off and then back on.

Using Your XLCgo
1. Answer/End Calls
Press green answer key once
2. Adjust volume
Roll the Volume up or Volume down to increase/decrease the volume.
3. Boost Volume
Press the boost button to add additional volume to your phone calls
4. Audio Modes
Use this switch to change the audio mode
5. Mute/Silence Ringer
Press to mute phone calls while on a call or press to silence the ringer when a call is not
active

b. XLCgo is designed to work with mobile phones; the compatibility of some features
is not guaranteed for all devices.
Using Your XLCgo

Troubleshooting
I cannot pair with my mobile phone
- Ensure your XLCgo is powered on and fully charged
- Ensure the pairing function is turned on on your phone
-Ensure XLCgo is in pairing mode (flashes blue and red)
-Ensure XLCgo is in range of your phone.
If the above steps do not solve the problem, please turn o XLCgo and recharge it, and.then
try again.
-
My phone cannot be auto-reconnected XLCgo
- Manually connect XLCgo from your mobile phone
- Turn off the phone, then turn on again
- Turn off XLCgo, then turn on again.

If the above steps do not solve the problem, turn o XLCgo and reset it, then pair
XLCgo with your phone again.
I hear a “Battery Low” alert during the call, what happens?
- This is the Low battery alert. Please charge XLCgo.
I hear some noise during the call, why?
- There is an obstruction between XLCgo and your mobile. Please remove it. Alternately, try
relocating the phone and don’t hold it in your hand.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons and damage to property, read all
operating instructions and the following safety instructions before using your Clarity product.
Operating, storage and charging temperature is 10˚C to 40˚C (50˚F to 104˚F).
• Only use those Clarity products and accessories designed for use with this product.
• If you experience a skin irritation after using this product, discontinue use and contact
Clarity.
• CHILDREN. Never allow children to play with the product-small parts may be a choking
hazard.
• Do not disassemble the product as this may expose you to dangerous voltages or other
risks. Incorrect reassembly can cause electric shock or fire when the product is
subsequently used.
• Unplug, discontinue use and contact Clarity if the product overheats or has a damaged
outer casing, cord or plug.
• Exposure to high volume sound levels or excessive sound pressure may cause temporary
or permanent damage to your hearing. Although there is no single volume setting that is
appropriate for everyone, you should always use your XLCgo with the volume set at
moderate levels and avoid prolonged exposure to high volume sound levels. The louder
the volume, the less time is required before your hearing could be affected. It is best to
not use this product directly next to your ear.

If you experience hearing discomfort, you should stop listening to the device through
your XLCgo and have your hearing checked by your doctor. To protect your hearing, some
hearing experts suggest that you:
1. Set the volume control in a low position before using your XLCgo and use as low a
volume as possible.
2. Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings. Whenever possible, use
your XLCgo in a quiet environment with low background noise.
3. Limit the amount of time you use XLCgo at high volume levels.
4. Turn the volume down if the sound from the XLCgo preventsyou from hearing
people speaking near you.
WARNING:
•Do not expose your XLCgo to contact with sharp objects as this will cause scratches
and damage.
•Do not stick anything inside XLCgo as this may damage internal components.
•Only replace battery with the same type as a different type can cause damage and
defeat a safeguard.
•Do not use abrasive cleaning products or solvents to clean XLCgo.
•Do not expose XLCgo to extremely high or low temperatures that a battery can be
subjected to during use, storage or transportation, use under 1kpa and 2000m.

Charging Warnings
•Use only the charger supplied by Clarity to charge the product and follow the charging
instructions provided. Do not use the charger for any other purpose. Ensure that the
voltage rating corresponds to the power supply you intend to use.
Battery Warnings
• Do not dispose of the product in a fire or heat above 40°C (104°F), or mechanically
crushing or cutting of battery that can result in an explosion.
• RECYCLING The product must be recycled or disposed of properly. Contact your local
recycling center for battery removal and proper disposal.
•Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that
can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas;
•A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or
leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
