Refilling
CAUTION!
Be careful when refilling theiron. Itcan be very hot afteruse.
1. Unplug theiron from thewall socket.
2. Remove therefill cover.
3. Use theincluded refill cup and fill it with ordinary tapwater.
N.B. Inregions where extremely hard water is common, it is recommended
that you use distilled water.
4. Fill thetank to themax. level and replace thecover securely.
Setting thetemperature
Check thecleaning instructions on thepiece of clothing and select asuitable
temperature. Thedots on thetemperature control mean thefollowing:
●Synthetic material such as acrylic andnylon.
●●Wool, silk and synthetic fabrics such as polyester andrayon.
●●●Fabric that tolerates high temperatures such as cotton andlinen.
Ironing
CAUTION!
Make sure that thevoltage from themains corresponds to theset voltage on theiron.
Otherwiseuse apointed object and change thevoltage setting using thevoltage
switch on theback of theiron.

The iron becomes extremely hot during use. Neverleave theiron unattended when it is
plugged into thewall socket.
1. Plug theiron into anearthed wall socket. Theindicator light will comeon.
2. Set thedesired temperature. Theindicator light will be on while theiron is hea-
ting up. Whenthelight turns off theiron has reached thedesired temperature.
Ifthetemperature drops below theset temperature theiron will begin reheating
and theindicator light will relight.
