4.1 Connection
1. Turnoffthecomputerandallconnectedcomponents.
2. Connecttheenclosedmodemcabletothe“RS-22”-jackonthebacksideof
themodem.
. Connectthemodemcable’sotherendtooneoftheserialportsonthe
computer.
4. ConnecttheAC/DCadaptortoanelectricsocketandtheDCplugto
“Power”onthemodem.
5. ConnectatelephonecablewithaModiedModularJackbetweenaphone
jackand“LINE”onthemodem.
6. Connectatelephoneto“PHONE”ifyouwishtousebothphoneandmodem
onthesamephonejack.Liftthetelephonereceiverandcheckthatyouhear
adialtone!
7. Turnonthemodemwiththecircuitbreaker“ONOFF”.Thecontrollight
“Power”willbelit.
8. Turnonthecomputer.
9. InserttheCDwiththedevicedriversintoyourCD-ROMreader.
