Safety
• The vacuum cleaner should only be used as described in themanual. Onlyuse
accessories recommended by themanufacturer.
• Do not expose thevacuum cleaner and its mains lead to moisture, blows or
hightemperatures.
• Never use thevacuum cleaner if its plug or mains lead is faulty or damaged in
any way. Donot use thevacuum cleaner if you have dropped it on thefloor, left it
outdoors or if it has been in contact withwater.
• Do not leave thevacuum cleaner unattended when it is connected to apower
point. Pulltheplug out when thevacuum cleaner is not in use. Turnoff theproduct
and always pull theplug itself when disconnecting it from thewall socket. Donot
pull thelead.
• Do not vacuum outdoors or on wet surfaces. Storethevacuum cleaner indoors.
• Do not pull or carry thevacuum cleaner by thelead. Donot use thelead as
ahandle and do not let it fasten in door jambs. Donot pull thelead around sharp
corners oredges.
• Do not insert any item into any opening other than thesuction port. Donot
vacuum if any opening is clogged. Keeptheopenings free from dust, fluff, hair and
anything that can reduce theairflow.
• Do not vacuum anything that is smoking or burning, e.g. cigarettes, matches or
hot ashes. Donot vacuum flammable liquids such as petrol.
• Be extra careful when vacuuming on stairs.
• Do not vacuum if thedust filter is damaged or not positioned correctly. Alwaysuse
thecorrect dust filter.
• If thevacuum cleaner is damaged, it must be repaired. Contact Customer Services
(see reverse).
• Never use thevacuum cleaner if themains lead is damaged. Inspect thelead
regularly. Ifthemains lead is in any way damaged it must be replaced by
aqualified electrician.
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from
physical or mental impairment. Theproduct should not be used by anyone without
sufficient experience or knowledge unless they have been instructed in its use by
someone who will take full responsibility for their safety.
• Never let children play with theproduct.

Assembly
Attaching and detaching thesuction hose
• Attaching thesuction hose: Insertthehose
into thesuction port on top of thevacuum
cleaner. Pushit in until you hear aclick.
• Detaching thesuction hose: Gentlypress
in thescored catches on thehose fixing
and detach thehose.
1. Push thetelescopic tube into theend
of thehandle.
3. Push thefloor nozzle onto theend of
thetelescopic tube.
2. Press thebutton on thetelescopic
tube to adjust its length.
4. The floor nozzle can be adjusted to
suit carpets (A) or hard floors (B).
Thisis controlled by abutton on top
of thefloor nozzle.

Attaching thecrevice tool and theupholstery nozzle
Remove thefloor nozzle from theend of thetelescopic tube and replace it with one of
thetwo smaller nozzles. Thenozzles can also be attached straight onto thehandle if
thetelescopic tube is removed.
Operating instructions
1. Before using thevacuum cleaner, first pull out enough lead and then plug it into
awall socket. Ayellow mark on thelead indicates asuitable length. Donot pull
thelead out past thered mark.
2. Press thepower switch on thetop of thevacuum cleaner to turn iton.
3. Adjust thesuction power using thepower selector on thetop of thevacuum cleaner.
4. To retract thelead, push thelead retract button with one hand and allow thelead
to run through thefingers of your other hand so that you make sure it doesn’t whip
around and damage anything.
Care and maintenance
Changing thedustbag
Never use thevacuum cleaner without adust bag or
motor protection filter. Ifyou forget to insert adust bag
or insert one incorrectly you will not be able to close
thecover of thevacuum cleaner properly.
1. Open thevacuum cleaner cover.
2. Pull thedust bag holder out.
3. Remove theold dust bag and insert anew one.
Note:The dust bag must be fitted into theholder
correctly; otherwise thecover will notclose.
4. Close thecover.
Cleaning themotor protection filter
Disconnect theplug from thewall socket before
cleaning thefilter. The filter should be cleaned at least
twice ayear or whenever it looks dirty. Never use
thevacuum cleaner without afilter. Usingthevacuum
cleaner without afilter can reduce suction power and
could damage themotor.
1. Open thevacuum cleaner cover.
2. Remove themotor protection filter by sliding it upwards.
3. Rinse thefilter in lukewarm water and allow it to
air-dry. Neverwash thefilter in awashing machine.
Donot use ahair dryer or similar to dryit.
4. Refit thefilter and close thecover.
You may also replace thefilter with anew one if necessary. Universal filters are
available, which can be cut to size using theold filter as atemplate.

Cleaning or replacing theexhaust filter
1. Open theexhaust filter cover by pressing therelease catch.
2. Remove theexhaust filter, wash it in lukewarm water and let it dry.
Alternatively,replace thefilter with anewone.
3. Refit thefilter and close thecover.
Troubleshooting guide
Poor suction:
• Makesure that thedust bag is not full. Changethebag if necessary.
• Make sure that nothing is clogging thehose, suction tube or nozzle.
• Check thefilters and clean or replace them if necessary.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

proppen när dammsugaren inte används. Stängav alla funktioner och dra alltid
ikontakten när stickproppen dras ur vägguttaget, dra aldrig direkt isladden.
• Dammsug inte utomhus eller på vått underlag. Förvara dammsugaren inomhus.
• Dra eller bär inte dammsugaren inätsladden. Användinte sladden som etthand-
tag och kläm den inte inågon dörr. Draden inte heller runt vassa hörn och kanter.
• Stoppa inte in något föremål inågon annan öppning än insugningshålet.
Dammsuginte om någon öppning är igensatt. Hålldem fria från damm, ludd, hår
och annat som kan minska luftflödet.
• Dammsug inte något som ryker eller brinner, t.ex. cigarretter, tändstickor eller
hetaska. Dammsug inte upp lättantändliga vätskor som exempelvis bensin.
• Var extra försiktig vid dammsugning itrappor.
• Dammsug inte om dammfiltret är skadat eller inte sitter på plats. Användalltid
rättdammfilter.
• Om dammsugaren är skadad måste den repareras. Kontakta vår kundtjänst
(sebaksidan).
• Använd aldrig dammsugaren om nätsladden är skadad. Kontrollera sladden
regelbundet. Omnätkabeln på något sätt skadas ska den bytas av
behörigelektriker.
• Produkten får inte användas av personer (inklusive barn) med begränsad fysisk
eller mental förmåga. Denfår inte heller användas av personer utan tillräcklig
erfarenhet och kunskap om de inte fått instruktioner om användningen av någon
som ansvarar för deras säkerhet.
• Låt aldrig barn leka med produkten.

Montering
Sättafast och ta bort dammsugarslangen
• Montera dammsugarslangen:
Anslutslangen till luftinsuget på
ovansidanav dammsugaren. Trycktills
duhör ettklick.
• Ta bort dammsugarslangen: Trycklätt på
de räfflade låsspärrarna på slangens fäste
och ta sedan bort slangen.
1. Skjut ihop teleskopröret
ochhandtaget.
3. Sätt fast golvmunstycket längst ned
påteleskopröret.
2. Tryck på knappen på teleskopröret
för att reglera längden.
4. Borsten på golvmunstycket kan
ställas in iolika lägen beroende
på om du dammsuger mattor (A)
eller hårda golv (B). Dettaregleras
med enknapp på golvmunstyckets
ovansida.
