Introduction
1Introduction
You have made a good choice by purchasing the water
hose reel made by CLEANCRAFT.
Read the operating instructions carefully before commissioning
and keep them for future reference.
The operating instructions are part of the device. It must
always be kept at the place of use of the device. In addi-
tion, the local accident prevention regulations and ge-
neral safety regulations for the area of use of the unit ap-
ply.
Illustrations in this operating manual are for basic under-
standing and may differ from the actual design.
1.1 Copyright
The contents of these instructions are copyright. Their
application is admissible in the frame of the water hose
reel utilisation. An application beyond the described ap-
plication is not allowed without written approval of the
manufacturer.
We report to protect our products branded, patent and
design rights, if this is possible in individual cases. We
vigorously oppose any infringement of our intellectual
property.

1.3 Limitation of liability
All information and notes in these operating instructions
were summarised taking the applicable standards and
rules, the state-of-the-art and our longterm knowledge
and experiences into consideration.
In the following cases the manufacturer is not liable for
damages:
- Non-observance of the operating instructions,
- inappropriate use
- Use of untrained staff,
- unauthorised modifications
- technical changes,
- Use of not allowed spare parts.
The actual scope of delivery may deviate from the ex-
planations and presentations described here in case of
special models, when using additional ordering options
or due to latest technical modifications.
The obligations agreed in the delivery contract, the ge-
neral terms and conditions as well as the delivery condi-
tions of the manufacturer and the legal regulations at the
time of the conclusion of the contract are applicable.
2 Safety
Safety instructions
The safety notes in these operating instructions are
highlighted by symbols. The safety notes are introduced
by signal words which express the concern of the risk.
2.1 Personal protective equipment
The personal protective equipment serves to protect
persons against impairments of safety and health while
working. The staff has to wear personal protective
equipment while performing different works on and with
the compressor which are indicated in the individual pa-
ragraphs of these instructions.
The personal protective equipment is explained in the
following paragraph:
Protective gloves
The protective gloves serve to protect the hands
against sharp components as well as against fric-
tion, abrasions or deep injuries.
Safety boots
The safety boots protect the feet against crushes,
falling parts and slipping over on slippery under-
ground.
Protective clothes
The protective work clothes are tight-fitting clothes
with low tear strength.

Intended Use
2.2 General safety notes
Stürmer Maschinen GmbH accepts no liability for design
and technical modifications to the device.
Claims of any kind for damage due to improper use are ex-
cluded.
3 Intended Use
The device is used exclusively to unwind and rewind the
water hose. Intended use also includes compliance with
all information in these instructions. Any use beyond the
intended use or other use is considered misuse.

When the water hose reel is used as intended, no resi-
dual risks are identified.

6 Assembly
Step 1: Choose a suitable position on the wall. Mark and
drill 4 holes to correspond with the holes in the
wall bracket (Fig. 2).
NOTE: The bracket can be installed on other se-
cure structures, but the supplied hardware is for
wall mounting only.

Step 2: Attach the bracket to the wall using the supplied
screws (Fig. 3A).

Step 3: Align the holes on the hose reel body with the
vertical holes on the bracket. Insert the swivel
rod into the holes in the bracket and reel
housing (Fig. 3B).
ATTENTION!
Do not operate water hose reel in hazardous areas!
WARNING!
Danger in case of misuse!
Misuse of the device can lead to dangerous situati-
ons.
- Only operate the device in the power range speci-
fied in the technical data.
- Never bypass or disable the safety devices.
- Only operate the unit in a technically perfect condi-
tion.

Step 1: Connect the line hose (Pos. 2, Fig. 4) to the wa-
ter source (tap).
Step 2: Pull out the water hose (Pos. 6, Fig. 4) to the de-
sired length. The hose is automatically locked.
Step 3: As soon as you turn on the water tap, the water
flows to the spray nozzle (Pos. 1, Fig. 4). You
can regulate the water jet by turning the spray
nozzle.
Step 3: To activate the automatic hose rewind, pull the
hose (Pos. 6, Fig. 4) briefly and firmly. Let the
hose run back into the hose reel (Pos. 4, Fig. 4).
NOTE: You can interrupt this process by pulling
the hose again.
9 Care and maintenance
All plastic parts and painted surfaces should be cle-
aned with a soft, damp cloth and some neutral cleaner.
To ensure that the hose rolls up evenly, spray the hose
regularly with silicone spray after cleaning.
Check the mounting parts occasionally for stability and
damage.
After maintenance, repair and cleaning work, check that
all covers and protective devices have been properly
reinstalled.
10 Disposal, recycling of old equipment
In the interest of the environment, care must be taken to en-
sure that all components of the device are disposed of in the
proper and authorized way.
10.1 Decommission
Disused devices must be taken out of operation immedi-
ately and professionally in order to avoid later misuse
and danger to the environment or persons.
- If necessary, disassemble the device into handleable
and recyclable components.
- Take the device components to the disposal channels
provided for this purpose.
10.2 Disposal
The devices contain a large number of recyclable mate-
rials and environmentally harmful components.
These components must be disposed of separately and
properly. In case of doubt, contact the municipal waste
disposal service.
If necessary, use the services of a specialized waste
disposal company for processing.
For more information about recycling this product, con-
tact your local authority, municipal waste disposal com-
pany or the shop where you purchased the product.
ATTENTION!
Operate the device only in a technically perfect con-
dition.
Always turn off the water supply and let the rest of
the water drain off before you run the hose back into
the hose reel.
DANGER!
Always hold the hose firmly until it is completely
retracted into the hose reel! Releasing the hose can
cause injuries.

All care and maintenance work may only be carried
out by qualified personnel who have been trained for
this purpose and are familiar with the associated
risks.

NOTE!
If the water hose reel is not used for a longer period
of time, it is recommended to store it in a closed
box.

12 Spare parts
12.1 Spare parts order
The spare parts may be purchased with the authorised
dealer or directly with the manufacturer. Please find the
corresponding contact data in Chapter 1.2 Customer
service.
Indicate the following basic information for requests or
orders of spare parts:
- Type of device
- Item No.
- Position No.
- Year of construction:
- Quantity
- Required mode of dispatch (mail, freight, sea, air,
express)
- Address of dispatch
Spare part orders which do not include the above indi-
cations may not be taken into consideration. If the indi-
cations regarding the mode of dispatch are missing, the
product is dispatched at the discretion of the supplier.
Example
The bracket for the water hose reel WSAR 20 must be
ordered. The bracket is identified in the spare parts dra-
wing.with position number 7.
When ordering spare parts, send a copy of the spare
parts drawing with the marked component (bracket)
and marked position number (7) to the authorised de-
aler or to the spare parts department and provide the
following information:

DANGER!
Risk of injury caused by the use of incor-
rect spare parts
The use of incorrect or faulty replacement parts can be
dangerous to the operator and cause damage and
malfunction.
- Only original spare parts from the manufacturer or
replacement parts approved by the manufacturer
must be used.
In case of doubt, always contact the manufacturer.
Tips and recommendations
The manufacturer warranty shall be rendered void in
the event of a use of unauthorised spare parts.
