Safety
• This fan heater is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theappliance by aperson responsible for their safety.
• Never let children play with thefan heater.
• Thefan heater is intended for indoor useonly.
• Never let children or pets touch thefan heater while it is inuse. Theoutput air can
be very hot, over 80 °C (175 °F).
• Caution: Nevercover thefan heater. Ifcovered, there is arisk of overheating or
evenfire.
• Thefan heater is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Never use thefan heater if it is in any way damaged or malfunctioning. Donot use
thefan heater if themains lead or plug is damaged in anyway.
• Before connecting thefan heater to themains, make sure that it is turned off and
that your hands are completelydry.
• Do not use extension leads for this product. Connect it directly to amains outlet.
• Thefan heater should only be connected to a230 V, 50 Hz electrical outlet.
• Never leave your home while thefan heater is switchedon.
• Thefan heater must be placed at least 1m away from combustible materials such
as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes and curtains.
• Never immerse thefan heater inwater.
• Do not use thefan heater near bathtubs, showers orpools.
• Do not use thefan heater in rooms containing explosive gases, inflammable
solvents, varnish, glues,etc.
• Make sure that no foreign objects enter theair intake or outlet openings.
Blockages can lead to electric shock, fire or damage to thefan heater.
• Thefan heater should not be taken apart or modified. Certain uninsulated
components inside thehousing carry dangerous voltages. Contact with these can
lead to fire or electricshock.
• Always unplug thefan heater from thepower point when it is not inuse.
Alwaysgrip theplug when unplugging, never pull themainslead.
• Thefan heater must always be standing upright while inuse.
