6. To use another attachment:
a. Attach the adapter (14) to the pistol grip (5) (see Illustration 3).
b. Attach one of the attachments (car wash brush, turbo lance, terrace
cleaner, or drain & pipe cleaner) to the adapter as follows:
Press the holder of the attachment into the bayonet connection on the
pistol grip (5) and turn clockwise until it locks. Do this before beginning to
use the high pressure cleaner and attachments.
Caution: Make sure that the attachment is secure in the lance or it may be
forcefully expelled from the lance.
7. Connect a garden hose (not included) to a water supply and to the connection
for incoming water (4). Use a threaded connection or a quick connection.
The connection for incoming water (4) is factory tted with a lter for removing
sand and other pollutants that may damage the pump vents.
8. Press the trigger and release any air until the water ows.
Caution: The temperature of the incoming water must not exceed 40°C. Let
the water run for a while before starting if the hose has been lying in the sun
and is warm. The high pressure cleaner must always be used in an upright/
vertical position. Never use it lying down.
Caution: Make sure there are no people or pets within the risk zone of 15 m
from the nozzle before assembly continues. The high pressure cleaner must be
used in an upright/vertical position; use the high pressure cleaner standing up.
9. Make sure that the garden hose is intact and fastened at both ends. Turn the
tap all the way on (or enough that the water supply is sufcient for the high
pressure cleaner.)
10. Connect the mains cable to a socket, press the pistol grip trigger, aim the
lance in a safe direction, and turn on the motor with the power switch (1).
If water is taken from a tank or similar without natural pressure, the pump and
inow of those must be lled with water before the pump is started. The tank must
be at a higher level than the high pressure cleaner. If the water is polluted or clou-
dy, an inow lter must be installed on the hose’s inow.
Attention: The recommended distance between the nozzle and surface to be
washed is approximately 30 cm. Shorter distances provide higher cleaning power
and may damage the surface being cleaned. Longer distances provide softer clea-
ning of fragile surfaces.
