Introduction
Making Life Easier and Safer

1. Do not operate the charging dock or AC adapter if it is broken or damaged to
reduce risk of electric shock, re or injury.
2. Do not disassemble the charging dock. Disassembly of the charging dock or AC
adapter may result in risk of electric shock or re.
3. To reduce risk of damage to the power supply electric plugs and cords, pull the
plug rather than the cord when disconnect the charger from the AC outlet.
4. Unplug the charger power supply from AC outlet before any maintenance or
cleaning. This will reduce the risk of electric shock.
5. Do not use cleaners or solvents to clean the exterior of the charging dock or AC
adapter. Use only a damp or dry cloth.
6. Do not expose this product to splashing or dripping water, snow or under direct
sunlight.
7. Do not plug the wall adaptor into the power outlet if the outlet is wet.
8. A power extension should not be used unless absolutely necessary. Use of an
improper extension cord could result in risk of re and electric shock. When
operating a charger outdoors, always provide a dry location and use an
extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use
reduces the risk of electricshock. If an extension cord must be used, make sure
that the cord size is 18 AWG for lengths of up to 6.5 feet (2.0m), and 16 AWG for
lengths up to 9.8 feet (3.0m). An extension cord must have adequate wire size
(AWG or American Wire Gauge) for safety. The smaller the gauge number of the
wire, the greater the capacity of the cable, that is, 16 gauge has more capacity
than 18 gauge. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in
loss of power and overheating. When using more than one extension to make up
the total length, be sure each individual extension contains at least the minimum
wire size. The following table shows the correct size to use depending on cord
length and nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gauge.
The lower the gauge number, the heavier thecord.

4. Do not place the power supply cord to the charger and the AC adapter
cable in any location with water or stress. Make sure it will not be stepped
on or tripped over.
5. Do not place the charging dock in designated areas, such as gas/refueling

DO NOT charge the battery in an air temperature below +40°F (+4.5°C),
or above +104°F (+40°C). This is important and will prevent serious
damage to the battery.
11. Do not place any object on top of the charger or place the charger on a soft
surface that might block the ventilation slots and result in excessive
