IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
Thank you for choosing a Comfort Zone®humidifier. To ensure the best performance from your
product, please read and save the following instructions.
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE
FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK AND INJURY TO ANY PERSON,
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
• This humidifier is for indoor use only. Do not use in wet or damp locations such as bathrooms,
laundry areas or other similar indoor locations. Never locate humidifier where it may fall into a
bathtub or other water container.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause risk of
fire. However, if you must use an extension cord, the cord shall be No.14AWG minimum size and
rated not less than 1875 watts.
• Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or the like.
Arrange cord away from a traffic area so it will not be tripped over.
• Do not use this product if parts are missing. Do not use this unit if the power cord shows signs of
damage or wear or if the unit has been dropped or misused.
• Use this unit on a flat, level surface only. If unit is placed on a non-level surface, this unit may not
function properly or water may overflow from the water flume.
• Place this humidifier on a water-resistant surface.
• Be sure to turn off and unplug this unit when not in use.
• Never tip or move this appliance while it is operating or while water is in the base or tank.
• This humidifier is not to be serviced or repaired by anyone except the manufacturer or service/
repair facilities authorized by the manufacturer. Never disassemble your humidifier. Doing so will
void your warranty and possibly allow water it get into sealed parts.
• Do not use this humidifier with timers, programmers or any other automatically controlled devices.
• Use this humidifier in the manner described in this operations manual only. Not following this
manual may cause damage to the humidifier, may create a fire hazard, electrical shock, or injury to
persons or property.
• Do not place this humidifier near furnaces, heaters, stoves, or any other source of heat.
• Position this humidifier out of the reach of children and pets.
• This humidifier requires periodic maintenance. Refer to those instructions in this manual.
• DO NOT use anything other than water in this appliance. Do not use additives.
• Never block the mist outlet.
• Do not cover any part of this humidifier. Do not insert any object into any area of this humidifier.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
SET-UP
Put the humidifier on a flat surface and take the water tank out. Open the water tank cover and
fill with cool water. Close the cover and put the tank back into the humidifier. For best results use
distilled or filtered water. Do not use hot water or additives. Put the nozzle and top cover into the
socket on top of the water tank.
The humidifier comes equipped with a power adapter that is required to supply power to the
humidifier when in use. Plug the rounded end of the adapter into the adapter port located in the back
of the humidifier. Plug adapter's two-pin power plug into a 120V AC wall outlet.
OPERATING THE HUMIDIFIER
1. The best working environment for the humidifier is between the temperatures of 68°F (20°C) and
104°F (40°C) and relative humidity is lower than 80%.
2. Use the touch button to operate the humidifier. Touch the button the first time for ON and LOW
intensity. Touch a second time for MEDIUM intensity. Touch a third time to turn the humidifer OFF.
Once the water in the basin is low, the machine will automatically alarm for 3 seconds and then
stop working.
CAUTION: If you start feeling light-headed, nauseous, or any kind of discomfort, stop operating the
humidifier immediately and consult with a healthcare professional.

FILLING/REFILLING THE WATER TANK
Turn off and unplug the power cord. Open the water tank cover and fill with cool water. Close the
cover and put the tank back into the humidifier. For best results use distilled or filtered water.
Do not use hot water or chemical additives. Properly replace the tank, plug into an outlet and turn
the humidifier ON. Comfortable, soothing, visible cool mist will be produced immediately.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE HUMIDIFIER:
It is strongly recommended you clean your humidifier at least once a week or more if you have:
• Hard water
• Notice a buildup of impurities on or in the tray, etc.
• Notice an unpleasant odor.
Always turn off and unplug the humidifier before cleaning. Periodically wipe the outside of the
humidifier with a damp or wet soft cloth. Do not use harsh, abrasive cleaners on this humidifier.
Never submerse the housing in liquid or pour liquid in or on the housing. Doing so may damage the
humidifier and cause injuries.
From time to time mineral deposits will accumulate in and on the water basin. When this occurs, the
water basin should be cleaned.
CLEANING THE TANK:
Put 1/2 teaspoon of chlorine bleach and 1/2 gallon of water in the tank. Let solution set for about 20
minutes swishing every few minutes. Empty the tank and rinse well with water until the bleach odor
is gone. Be careful not to splash the solution on surfaces/clothing that may get damaged by the
cleaning solution. Do not operate the humidifier with the chlorine bleach solution in the tank.
CLEANING THE TRAY:
From time to time mineral deposits will accumulate in and on the water basin. When this occurs, the
water basin should be cleaned.
END OF SEASON CARE AND STORAGE
Empty the tank and tray of water. Clean all surfaces with a damp, soft cloth. When completely dry, store
the humidifier in its original carton, in a cool, dry, clean location. Remember to clean and inspect your
humidifier before using it the next season.

LIMITED WARRANTY
This unit is guaranteed to the original retail purchaser against defects in quality or workmanship for a period of one
year from the date of original purchase. If this unit fails because of a manufacturing defect within 30 days of purchase,
return the unit, with your receipt, to the retailer. After 30 days, but within the warranty period, if the unit was purchased
within the continental United States, return it, freight prepaid, to World and Main for repair or replacement. If the unit
was purchased outside the continental United States, return the unit to the place of purchase. This warranty does not
cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, overheating or alteration. Repairs made by anyone other than World and Main
are not covered in this warranty. World and Main will not be held liable for any losses due to neglectful operation. All
implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and of fitness of purpose, if applicable, are hereby limited
in duration to the period of one year from the date of original retail purchase. Some states do not allow limitations on
how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Incidental or consequential damages
arising from a breach of either express or implied warranties are hereby disclaimed and excluded. Some states do not
allow the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you. Upon the expiration of this warranty all such liability will terminate. No other warranties are expressed or implied.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. No
informal dispute settlement mechanisms are available. This limited warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties.
