GENERAL WARNINGS
This appliance shall only be used with the regulator
supplied with the appliance and must only be connected
to non-rellable 468 g disposable propane cartridges
certied to DOT-39.
It may be hazardous to attempt to t other types of gas
containers or cartridges.
This appliance is to be stored in a dry and well ventilated
location free from direct sunlight. Do not store when still
connected to the cylinder. Make sure that the cylinder is
disconnected and is stored in a well ventilated area, free
from direct sunlight, heat and ignition sources.
If being stored indoors insure that the location complies
with the standard AS/NZS1596.
This appliance must only be serviced by an authorised
service agent, return to your place of purchase for
service and repair.
IMPORTANT: Read these instructions for use carefully. Familiarise yourself with the appliance before
connecting it to its gas container. Keep these instructions for future reference.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not remove the guard protecting the burner from this
appliance.
Do not use the appliance if it has a leak, worn,
deteriorated or damaged seals.
Inspect the LP gas regulator regularly for signs of wear
or damage, replace if found to be damaged.
Handle with care even after brief use as some surfaces
may become hot during operation. Always allow the
appliance to cool down before moving.
Pick up using the handle only.
Use only in well ventilated areas.
The guard on the appliance will become extremely hot
– Do not touch.
Check that seals between the appliance and the gas
container are in place and in good condition before
connecting the gas container.
Do not use the appliance if it has damaged or warned
seals.
Do not use this appliance if it is leaking, damaged or
does not operate properly.
Ensure all transit protection is removed prior to use.
Do not obstruct any combustion air openings.
Gas containers should be changed in a well-ventilated
location, preferably outside away from people and any
sources of ignition, such as naked ames, pilot ames,
electric heaters/equipment.
This appliance shall only be used in an above ground
open air situation with natural ventilation, without
stagnant areas, where gas leakage and products of
combustion are rapidly dispersed by wind and natural
convection.
Do not use adaptors or modify appliance to t other
connectors or cylinders.
When using this appliance, children must be supervised
by an adult at all times.
Never leave appliance unattended when operating.
Do not use as a cooking appliance or modify for any
other reason.
Do not hang or attempt to dry clothes or any ammable
material on or placed near the appliance.
Do not modify this appliance or remove any guards or
covers.
This appliance is not to be used in enclosed areas and
must be operated away from any type of ammable
material or liquid.
ONLY USE IN WELL-VENTILATED AREAS.
CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD - USING THIS APPLIANCE IN AN ENCLOSED SPACE
MAY CAUSE DEATH. DO NOT USE IN CARAVANS, TENTS, MARINE CRAFT, CARS,
MOBILE HOMES OR SIMILAR LOCATIONS.
CAUTION: Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young children away.
USE OUTDOORS ONLY.

IMPORTANT
The appliance must be used outdoors only and is to be
operated no closer than 1000 mm from the sides and
1000 mm from above all combustible surfaces, fabrics
and ammable materials. Must only be used on solid and
stable horizontal surfaces made from non-combustible
or non-ammable materials and should be protected
from direct drafts and in a well-ventilated place.
Use only in a sheltered position ensuring the appliance is
not exposed to rain.
Caution: Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young
children away.
If you smell gas immediately turn the gas off at the
control and move the appliance to a well-ventilated area
outside, keeping well away from sources of heat such as
naked ames and pilot lights.
Do not attempt to move or relocate the appliance when
it is operating. Extinguish the burner and allow cool,
disengaging the gas cylinder then moving the appliance.

CONNECTION
Step 1. Locate the appliance on a rm horizontal
non-combustible surface.
Step 2. Check that the gas control on the appliance is in
the OFF position.
Step 3. Rotate regulator out from heater. Screw the gas
cartridge (clockwise direction) onto the gas regulator
and tighten securely. Check for leaks with soapy water.
– Do not use a ame. If a leak is detected remove the
gas cartridge and retighten all connections, then retest.
Step 4. Position gas cartridge into heater.

SAFE LOCATIONS
This appliance shall only be used in an above ground
open air situation with natural ventilation, without
stagnant areas, where gas leakage and products of
combustion are rapidly dispersed by wind and natural
convection.
Any enclosure in which the appliance is used shall
comply with one of the following:
An enclosure with walls on all sides, but with no
overhead cover (see example 1).
Within a partial enclosure that includes an overhead
cover and no more than two walls (see examples 2 & 3)
Within a partial enclosure that includes an overhead
cover and more than two walls, the following shall apply:
At least 25% of the total wall area is completely open.
30% or more in total of the remaining wall side, back
and front wall areas is open and unrestricted
(see examples 4 & 5).
In the case of balconies, 20% or more of the total wall
area shall remain open and unrestricted.

apply to any other shaped area.

LIGHTING THE HEATER
Step 1. Turn the gas control to the PILOT position and
depress for 10 seconds and release, this will allow gas
to enter the burner system.
Step 2.
Depress again until the pilot light is ignited.
Once ignited, keep the control depressed for 10 seconds
and then release, the pilot light will stay ignited.
Step 3.
Slightly depress the gas control and turn to the
HI position, the burner will ignite.
ADJUSTING THE FLAME / ADJUSTING
THE OVEN TEMPERATURE
Slightly depress the control and turn to the HI position.
TURNING THE APPLIANCE OFF
Slightly depress the control and turn to the PILOT positon,
the burner will extinguish and the pilot light will remain on.
Slightly depress the control and turn to the OFF position.
Note:
Allow the appliance to remain off for a minimum of
5 minutes before relighting.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Using warm soapy water with a mild detergent wipe
down all surfaces and areas of the appliance,
taking care not to allow water to enter the burner outlets.
Do not submerge the appliance in a sink or bowl.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Appliance should be kept clean and stored in a secure
dry location.
This appliance must only be serviced by an authorized
person.
Inspect the appliance regularly for signs of wear,
leaks or incorrect operation. If symptoms such as
aring of the burners, issues with lighting, damaged
connections or leaks from seals or gas controls
are identied do not attempt to repair, contact
Customer Service on 1300 555 197.
