1 . I N TROD UCTI ON
The 3G-SDI 1 by 4 Split t er allow s SD-SDI , HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals t o
be split from a single SDI source t o up four sim ultaneous SDI outputs
while ensuring high bit rates of 2.970 Gbit/ s t o give you high bandwidt h
signal t r ansm ission w ithout signal loss ov er long distances.

and 270Mb/ s
• Suppor t s SMPTE 425M ( Lev el A and Lev el B) , SMPTE 424M, SMPTE
292M, SMPTE 259M- C
• Provides equalized and re- clocked t r ansm ission
• Supports signal input and out pu t dist ances of up to 300 m for SD
signals, 200 m for HD signals and 100 m for 3G signals.
Note: Test ed w it h Belden 1694ACable. Operating dist ances m ay vary
if used with cables of different specifications.

Pow er LED
The LED will illum inat e green when t he device is connect ed t o a
power supply .
SDI OUTPUT
Connect t o up to four SDI TVs or m onit or s for sim ult aneous display
or to anot her splitter to cascade t h e SDI signal t o m ultiple displays
or devices.
6 .2 Re a r Pa n e l
SDI I N PU T
Connect to t he SDI output of t he SDI source device such as a
video cam cor der or SDI player. Accept s SD,HD or 3G SDI signals.
DC 5 V
Plug the 5 V DC power supply into t he unit and connect the
adapt or t o an AC out let. The 'POWER' LED will illum inat e green
when t he power is ON.
