2 For your safety
General
Every person working with the fan unit FAN3S
must have read and understood the present
installation and operating instructions before
carrying out any work.
Knowing and understanding the contents of the
present installation and operating instructions
is a basic requirement for protecting the per-
sonnel against any kind of danger, to prevent
faulty operation, and to operate the unit safely
and correctly.
All ideograms, signs and markings applied to the
unit must be observed and kept in readable state.
Qualicationofpersonnel
All actions described in the present Installation
and operating instructions (installation, operation,
maintenance, etc.) must be carried out only by
welltrainedandsufcientlyqualiedperson-
nel authorised by the owner.
For safety and warranty reasons any action
beyond the scope of this manuals must be car-
riedoutonlybyqualiedpersonnelauthorised
by the manufacturer.
It is assumed that all persons working with the
fan unit FAN3S are familiar and comply with the
appropriate regulations on work safety and the
prevention of accidents.
This unit may not be used by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal abilities or persons with lacking experience
and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or they
received instructions on how to operate the unit.
Children must be supervised to make sure that
they do not play with unit.
Intended use
The fan unit FAN3S is intended exclusively
for the steam distribution in association
withthesteamhumidierCondairCP3and
DefensorMk5withinthespeciedoperating
conditions(seechapter9 “Productspecica-
tions”). Any other type of application without the
express written consent of the manufacturer is
considered as not conforming with the intended
purpose and may lead to the fan unit FAN3S
becoming dangerous.
Operation of the equipment in the intended man-
ner requires that all the information in these
instructions as well as in the corresponding
installation and operating instructions of the
steamhumidierisobserved(in particular
the safety instructions).
2 Concernant votre sécurité
Généralités
Il est indispensable que le personnel affecté aux
travaux sur l’appareil de ventilation FAN3S ait
lu et assimilé les présentes instructions d’ins-
tallation et d’exploitation avant d’effectuer des
travaux à l’appareil.
La connaissance du contenu des présentes
instructions d’installation et d’exploitation est la
condition sine qua non pour protéger le personnel
contre les risques et pour éviter des erreurs de
manipulation et, ainsi, pour effectuer l’exploitation
compétente de l’appareil.
Tenir en état bien lisible et observer tous les
pictogrammes, plaquettes et inscriptions appo-
sées à l’appareil.
Qualicationdupersonnel
Seul le personnel instruit, sufsamment
qualiéetlepersonnelprofessionnelautorisé
par l’exploitant sont habilités à effectuer chaque
action décrite dans les présentes instructions
d’installation et d’exploitation (installation, exploi-
tation, maintenance, etc.),
Seul le personnel autorisé est habilité à effectuer
des interventions qui dépassent le cadre des
travaux mentionnés dans la présente docu-
mentation.
Il est supposé que chaque personne qui effectue
des travaux à l’appareil de ventilation FAN3S
connaît et respecte les prescriptions concer-
nant la sécurité du travail et la prévention des
accidents.
Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à être utilisé par des
personnes(ycomprisenfants)avecdéciences
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales et/ou sans
expérience ou connaissances adéquates, excep-
té si elles ont reçu les instructions appropriées
ou si elles sont surveillées par une personne
compétente, pour leur sécurité.
Lesenfantsdoiventêtresurveillés,anqu’ilsne
jouent pas avec l’appareil.
Utilisation conforme aux consignes
L’appareil de ventilation FAN3S, raccordé aux
humidicateurs à vapeur Condair CP3 ou
au Defensor Mk5, est destiné uniquement
à la répartition de vapeur dans les limites
desconditionsd’exploitationspéciées (voir
chapitre9“Caractéristiquesspéciquesdespro-
duits”). Toute autre utilisation sans autorisation
écrite du fabricant est considérée comme non
conforme aux consignes et peut rendre l’appareil
de ventilation FAN3S dangereux.
L’utilisation conforme implique également l’ob-
servation de toutes les informations gurant
dans les présentes instructions d’installation et
d’exploitation et dans les instructions d’installa-
tion et d’exploitationdel’humidicateuràvapeur
correspondante (en particulier, des consignes de
sécurité et d’indications de danger).
2 Zu Ihrer Sicherheit
Allgemeines
Jede Person, die mitArbeiten am Ventilationsge-
rät FAN3S beauftragt ist, muss die Montage- und
Betriebsanleitung vor Beginn der Arbeiten am
Gerät gelesen und verstanden haben.
Die Kenntnisse des Inhalts der Montage- und Be-
triebsanleitung ist eine Grundvoraussetzung, das
Personal vor Gefahren zu schützen, fehlerhafte
Bedienung zu vermeiden und somit das Gerät
sicher und sachgerecht zu betreiben.
Alle am Gerät angebrachten Piktogramme, Schil-
der und Beschriftungen sind zu beachten und in
gut lesbarem Zustand zu halten.
Personalqualikation
Sämtliche in dieser Montage- und Betriebsan-
leitung beschriebenen Handlungen (Installation,
Betrieb, Wartung, etc.) dürfen nur durch ausge-
bildetesundausreichendqualiziertessowie
vom Betreiber autorisiertes Fachpersonal
durchgeführt werden.
Eingriffe darüber hinaus dürfen aus Sicherheits-
und Gewährleistungsgründen nur durch vom
Hersteller autorisiertes Fachpersonal durchge-
führt werden.
Es wird vorausgesetzt, dass alle Personen die
mitArbeiten am Ventilationsgerät FAN3S betraut
sind, die Vorschriften überArbeitssicherheit und
Unfallverhütung kennen und einhalten.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt durch Per-
sonen (einschließlich Kinder), mit eingeschränk-
ten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder
mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn
sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zustän-
dige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr
Anweisungen wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.
Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicher-
zustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Bestimmungsgemässe Verwendung
Die Ventilationsgeräte FAN3S sind aus-
schliesslich zur Dampfverteilung in Ver-
bindung mit den Dampfluftbefeuchtern
Condair CP3 oder Defensor Mk5 innerhalb
der spezifizierten Betriebsbedingungen
(siehe Kapitel 9 “Produktspezikationen”)
bestimmt. Jeder andere Einsatz ohne schriftli-
che Genehmigung des Herstellers gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäss und kann dazu führen,
dass das Ventilationsgerät FAN3S gefahrbrin-
gend wird.
Zur bestimmungsgemässen Verwendung gehö-
ren auch die Beachtung aller Informationen in
dieser Montage- und Betriebsanleitung und der
Montage- und Betriebsanleitung zum entspre-
chenden Dampf-Luftbefeuchter (insbesondere
aller Sicherheits- und Gefahrenhinweise).
