Learn to link your Quantum digital-RF thermostat with your Quantum wiring centre-RF,
either oine or online using the Quantum hub and the Smart Home app.

UNDERFLOOR HEATING
Network LED statuses:
(LED is lit steady) - wiring centre is added
to the ZigBee network and paired with the
Quantum coordinator.
(LED is blinking) - wiring centre is not
connected to the network, but it is ready for
pairing with the Quantum coordinator for
the ZigBee network.
Checking the address of the wiring centre
To check the address of the wiring centre in the ZigBee network press the Pair
button. The wiring centre number is indicated by the number of LEDs at the zones
(this number is known as the control box number on the Quantum thermostat.)
1. Linking in oine mode

To begin linking in oine mode, hold the button for 5 seconds on the Quantum coordinator
on the Quantum wiring centre-RF. This is located in the top right hand corner as shown
below.
The wiring centre set up is now complete. In order for the rest of the set up to work correctly, do not
touch the wiring centre until all the thermostats are connected.

Power up sequence
To power on, hold
the button for 3
seconds. The display
will show all icons.
The thermostat will
display the software
version.
Now, choose your
language by using the
or buttons. Conrm
your language using the
button.
Using the and
buttons select the control
box number (press the pair
button on the control box
to see its address number).
Press button to conrm
Use the or
buttons to select the
zone number and
press the button
to conrm.
You can now pair your
thermostat with additional
zones. Select another zone
or nish pairing by pressing
the button.

2. Linking in Online mode
To begin set up in online mode, rst remove the Quantum
Coordinator. If the system has been set up in Oine mode
previously, both the wiring centre and thermostats will
need to be factory reset (Page 7 of this document).
Power on your Quantum hub
Ensure the Quantum hub is connected to the internet and
you have downloaded the Salus Smart Home app on to your
mobile phone or tablet. (See the Quantum hub quick guide.)

Complete the linking process
Once the process has been complete, do not disconnect the
wiring centre from the mains for at least 30 minutes. After
this time the thermostats will memorise the locations and will
automatically re-connect if the mains are disconnected.
Connect to the wiring centre
Open your Salus Smart Home app on your mobile device and follow the steps below.

Connect the Quantum thermostat
Open your Salus Smart Home app on your mobile device and follow the steps below to
connect your thermostat. (Thermostats should be connected individually.)
Power on Quantum digital-RF thermostat as seen below
Name the room.

Apply the
thermostat
to the correct
zone.
The thermostat can
be set to a default
programme with 2
on times or click no
and set the desired
program.
Set the
desired time
format.
Once all the above
steps are complete,
you can now repeat
the process to
add any additional
thermostats to the
system. Once all your
thermostats have
been connected, your
Salus Smart home app
should resemble the
image.

3. Factory reset
Quantum digital-RF thermostat
• Press the menu button
• “Admin settings”
• To conrm
• “Factory reset”
• To conrm
• “Yes”
• To conrm
• Press the menu button
• Ensure all thermostats are reset
• Hold the pair button until G1 & G2 red lights come on and go o again
• Hold the circle button on the Quantum coordinator until the light changes to orange
• Press the Quantum coordinator button again for 5 seconds until it ashes red
• Use a small pin to press the “reset button”
The thermostat will now completely reset and remove itself from the ZigBee network.
Quantum wiring centre-RF
The wiring centre is now reset. Remove the coordinator if connecting to Quantum hub.
If a factory reset is required, each Quantum thermostat will need to be factory reset separately to
the Quantum wiring centre.
