Do not dispose of this equipment in the household waste. Electrical and electronic
equipment contain substances that may damage the environment if they are not handled
appropriately. The symbol of a crossed-out waste bin indicates that electrical equipment
should be collected separately from other urban waste. For correct environmental
management, itmust be takentothe collectioncentres provided for this purpose, at the end
of its useful life.

OVERVIEW
While the AC unit is working, from your OneZone thermostat you will be ableto controlthe following functionalities:
Zone On/Off.
Select the set-point temperature.
Operationmode (heatingor cooling).*
Manual or automatic mode.
Timescheduling.
Eco mode.
*Note:ThismodemustmatchtheoperationmodeselectedontheACUnitthermostat.
With OneZone you cancontrol the temperature in one room. Just feel yourcomfort while therest remains thesame as before.

I WANT MORE ONEZONE
If you wish, you can have more than one OneZone in your installation, it is recommended not to exceed the 30% of the area
served bytheAC unit. For example, ifyou have10 vents, you caninstall itin upto 3 vents.

INSTALLATION
ONEZONE DAMPER
Important:Toinstallthissystemascrewdrivermayberequired.
To completethe installation, follow thesteps:
1. Insert batteries (C Type) inthe battery box following the directionsfor thebatteries polarity.
2.
3. Connect the motorcable to the battery box.
4. Remove the air supply grille and insert the damper in thesupply duct.
5. Affix the IR receiver connected to the battery box in the grille frame pointing towards where the thermostat will be
installed. Use the adhesive strapped to the IR receiver cable.
Important: Donotblock the IRreceiver, nor thetransmitterin the thermostat. Fora proper functioning,bothdevices have
tohavedirectvisualcontact.

ONEZONE THERMOSTAT
The thermostat should be located in a place with good aircirculation,and notexposedto direct sun light,lightspots or above
heaters, and noton externalwalls. Thecorrectlocationis:
In anarea with air circulation.
Away from direct currents ofcoldor hot air.
Away from sources ofheat such as heaters or radiators.
Out of direct sun exposure.
Preferablynot installed on exterior walls.
To install the thermostat, followsteps:
1. Removethe thermostat wallbase and present it inthe walland mark to level it,
2. Affix the wallbase withtape or screws,
3. Open the thermostat, and insert thebatteries (AAA Type),following the polarity indications. To openthe thermostat
insert acoin in thegap located in thebottom part ofthe thermostat frame, and turnit to open the thermostat,
4. Insert the back plate to the wall base, and then, insert the thermostat in the hooks located in the base and press the
thermostat against the base to lock it in position.

CHECK
Once the OneZone Damper and the thermostat are installed, it is suggested to check the system operation. To do that, follow
the steps:
1. Set the ACunit to run.
2. Select the same operatingmode as selected in the AC.
3. If the mode is set to heat, increase the temperature selection to the maximum. If the mode is cool, lower the
temperature to the minimum. This action will force thedamper to the open position.
4. Power off the OneZone thermostat and verify that the damper stays open

THERMOSTAT ICONS
The Home Screen options for the Thermostat are:
1.Time. Displays the current time.
2.EcoMode. IndicatesEco modeis activated.
3. Cooling operation mode.Indicates that the Coolingmode is the current operationmode.
4. Heating operation mode. Indicates that the Heating mode is thecurrent operation mode.
5.Selectionarrows. Press (Up) or (Down)to adjust manually the temperatureset point byincrements of 1ºF (0.5ºC).
6. Communication Icon. Displays communications between the Thermostat and the damper actuator.
7. Current Set point. Displays the currentset point.
8. Airzone Icon. Used to enter another menu or confirm avalue.
9.On/Officon. Enablesturning the air conditioning On or Off in the zonewhere the Thermostat is installed.
10. Low Battery. Displayed when batteries have run low. It has approximately 2 weeksof life left.

conditioning of the zone.

OPERATION MODES
TheoperationmodeestablisheshowOneZonewilloperatewhileworkingonCoolingandHeating.Thismodedoesnotchange
the AC unit mode, but it must remain the same at every moment. So, it is important to have the AC unit working for your
OneZone to regulate theroomtemperature. OneZone operation modes are:
-Cooling : OneZone damper will openwhenroom temperature ishigher than the set-pointtemperature selected.
-Heating : OneZone damper will open when room temperature is lower than theset-pointtemperatureselected.
For switching the operation mode, short press on the current Operation Mode and all the available operation modes will be
displayed. The current operation mode will blink; select the desired operationmode.
USER MODES
Your OneZone can work operate either manually or automatically based on time
schedules. User modes are indicated as follows:
-Manual : You select manually at every moment the desired
temperature.
-Automatic : Commands your OneZone thermostat to follow a
previouslystoredtimeschedule.
You can swap from manual mode to automatic mode on your OneZone usage
simply by pressingon theshown icon.
Manual andautomatic mode
Change from Off to On to activate and deactivate the OneZone temperature control.
When set toOn, use selection arrows toset the desired temperature. Range available is from 65ºF to85ºF withstepsof 1ºF.
Inautomaticmode,storedtimes-schedules(seepointUsermodes)ontheOneZonethermostatwillprevail.Changetoautomatic
mode by pressing on themanual mode icon , appearingthe automatic mode icon .

Eco Mode
The OneZone thermostat counts with anadditional functionality that will vary thedesired temperature at sleep time.
To activate press on the icon andthen on the icon. Todeactivate press onthe icon showing main screen.
This user mode varies the desired temperature in 1ºF every 30 minutes with a maximum variation of 4ºF. The variations are as
follows:

TIME SCHEDULING

Beforedoing any time scheduling,day and timemust beset:
Press and hold on the time display the day of the week appears blinking. Select the day of the week with the arrows
(Sunday is number 1). Confirm the selection with ashort touch in the icon.
The hour digits will start blinking. Select the hour with the arrows (Hours are in 24Hrs format). Confirm the
selectionwith a short touch in the icon.

Time schedule
Once day and time areset, you cando time schedules with your OneZone thermostat to runyour user-defined schedules. To

TEMPERATURE UNITS
OneZone thermostat allow the user to select the temperature units. The default units are ºF, the user can change it to ºC as
follows:
The minutedigitswill start blinking. Select the minutes with the arrows . Confirmthe selection with ashorttouch
inthe icon.
With the thermostat set to OFF, touch and hold on the icon until the display shows all the icons. The
temperature appears in the screen. Touch and hold onthe icon, until the first setupscreen appears.
Cyclewiththearrowkeys untiltheunitssettingappearsinthescreen.Touchontheunitsdisplay.Thesewillbegin
to flash.

BATTERIES REPLACEMENT
OneZone ispower onboth thermostat and motorized damper by batteries.

Onthethermostat,alow-batteryiconwillshowwhenbatteriesarelow.Toreplace
them do as follows:
1. Insert a dull object such as a coin in the lower slot and turn it slowly to
remove thethermostat.
2. Remove exhausted batteries for new onesrespecting polarity.
3. Insert the thermostat in the upper flaps and press gently until the thermostat is attached to its back plate.
On the damper control module ared LED will blinkslowlywhen the batteries arelow. To replace themdo as follows:
1. Disconnect the cable. Open the cover to replace thebatteries.
2. Remove exhausted batteries for new onesrespectingpolarity.
3. Reassemble the cover and adjust thelatches.
Select the units type (ºF or ºC) using the selection arrows .Confirm the selectionwith a touch on the
icon. To exit configurationmode, touch the On/Off icon .

POLÍTICA MEDIOAMBIENTAL
No tire nunca este equipo con los desechos domésticos. Los productos eléctricos y
electrónicos contienensustanciasquepuedenserdañinasparaelmedioambientesi noseles
da el tratamiento adecuado. Elsímbolodel contenedor debasura tachado indicala recogida

INSTALACIÓN
COMPUERTA ONEZONE
Importante: Paracompletarlainstalaciónnecesitaráundestornillador.
Para completar lainstalaciónsigua lospasos:
5. Inserte las baterías (Tipo C) enel móduloportapilas prestando especialatencióna lapolaridad.
6. Inserte el clip metálico en el módulo portapilas y fíjelo alborde de la compuerta.
7. Conecte elcabledel motoral móduloportapilas.
8. Retire la rejillade acceso de aire eintroduzcala compuertapor el ducto de suministro de aire.
9. Fije el receptor IR del módulo portapilas al marco de la rejilla orientado hacia el termostato; utilice el adhesivo
incorporadoretirandoel protector.
Importante: Para asegurar una correcta comunicación, el receptor IR y el termostato tienen que tener contacto visual
directo.
10. Fije la rejillaen suposición original.

TERMOSTATO ONEZONE
El termostato sólo requiere que se fije a pared. La ubicación del termostato debe ser aquella en la que haya una buena
circulacióndeaireynoestéexpuestoafuentesdecalordeformadirectaypreferiblementenoenmurosexteriores. Lacorrecta
ubicaciónes:
En un área con circulación de aire.
Alejado decorrientes directas de aire frio o caliente.
Alejado de fuentes de calor, talescomo calefactores o radiadores.
Fuera de laexposicióndirectadel sol.
Preferentemente, noinstalado sobreparedesexteriores.
Para fijarlo en paredsiga estos pasos:
1. Retire la base de fijación a pareddel termostato y preséntela en la pared, nivele ymarque conun lapicero.
2. Fije la baseo concinta adhesiva ocon tornillos.
3. Abraeltermostatoparainsertarlasbaterías(TipoAAA)respetandolapolaridadindicada.Paraelloinserteunamoneda
en la ranurade la base del termostato y gírela para abrirlo.
4. Coloque la tapa trasera en la base fijada a la pared y posteriormente inserte el termostato en los ganchos y fije
realizandouna presión enérgica.

COMPROBACIÓN
Una vez instalados tanto la compuerta OneZone como el termostato fijado en pared, se recomienda hacer un chequeo. Para
ello sigalos siguientes pasos:
1. Enciendael equipode aire acondicionado.
2. Seleccione elmodo defuncionamiento igual que elseleccionado en el equipo de aire acondicionado.
3. Seleccione una temperatura objetivo a la máxima si el modo es Calor y al mínimo si el modo es Frío para comprobar
que la compuertase abre.
4. Apague el termostato OneZone y compruebe quela compuerta queda abierta.

ICONOS DEL TERMOSTATO
Las opciones de la pantalla principal deltermostatoson:
1.Hora.Muestra lahoraactual.
2.Modo Eco. Indica que el modo Eco está activado.
3. Modo de funcionamiento frío.Indica que el modo Fríoes el actual modo de funcionamiento.
4. Mododefuncionamientocalor. Indica queel modo Calor es el actual modo de funcionamiento.
5.Flechas deselección. Pulse (Arriba) o (Abajo)para ajustar la temperatura de consigna en pasos de 1ºF(0.5ºC).
6.Iconode comunicación. Muestrasi hay comunicaciónentre el termostato y lacompuerta.
7. Temperaturade consigna. Muestra latemperatura deconsignaactual.
8.Icono Airzone. Se utilizapara entrar a algún menúo confirmar un valor.
9.IconoOn/Off.Permite encender/apagar lazona donde el termostato esté intalado.
10.Bateríabaja.Se muestracuando se están agotando las pilas, aproximadamente, dossemanas de vida útil.

MODOS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
El modode funcionamientoestablece cómo va a funcionar OneZone, trabajando en Frío oCalor. El modo de funcionamiento
novaa modificarelmodode lamáquina,perodebe ser igualaeste (y lamáquina estaren funcionamiento) para poderregular
la temperatura. Los modos de funcionamientode OneZone son:
-Frío :LacompuertaOneZoneseabrirácuandolatemperaturaambienteseamayorquelatemperaturadeconsigna
seleccionada.
-Calor : La compuerta OneZone se abrirá cuando la temperatura ambiente sea menor que la temperatura de
consignaseleccionada.
Paracambiarelmododefuncionamientodeltermostato, realiceunapulsacióncorta sobre elmodo actual,semostrarántodos
los modosde funcionamiento disponibles, el modo actualapareceráparpadeando. Pulse sobreel modo deseado.
MODOS DE USO
Su termostatoOneZone puede funcionarde forma manualo de forma automática
en base aprogramaciones horarias. Estosmodosse indican como sigue:
-Manual :Ustedseleccionaencadamomentolatemperaturaquedesea.
-Automático : Indica a su termostato que funcione según una
programación horaria que esté enmemoria.
Puedecambiardeunmodoaotroconsólorealizarunapulsacióneneliconoactivo.
Modo manual y automático
Cambie deOff a Onpara activar ydesactivar el control detemperatura OneZone.
Cuando esté encendido, use las flechas de selección para establecer latemperatura deseada. Elrango permitido estáentre los
65ºF y los 85ºF con paso de 1ºF. En modo automático se ejecutarán las programaciones horarias que haya realizado
anteriormente (ver apartado Modos de uso). Cambie a este modo mediante una pulsación en el icono de funcionamiento
manual apareciendoel icono de modo de utilizaciónautomático .

El termostato OneZone cuenta con una función adicional que varía de modo automático la temperatura en la estancia, en
funcióndeltiempo.Paraactivarlopulseenelicono ,despuéspulsesobreelicono .Paradesactivarlopulsesobre
el icono en la pantalla principal.
Este modo de funcionamiento varíala temperatura de consigna en 1ºFcada 30 minutos, con una variación máxima de 4ºF. El

PROGRAMACIONES HORARIAS
OneZone permite realizar programaciones horarias (hora inicio, hora final y temperatura deseada en esa franja horaria),
teniendo hasta 3 programas independientes paracada díade la semana, grupode días (laborables y fin desemana) ysemana
completa.

Los dígitos de las horas comenzarán a parpadear. Seleccione la hora mediante las flechas (formato 24 horas).
