IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should be followed as follows:
• Read all the instructions.
• Intended for household use only.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than
intended use.
• Do not operate this unit in the presence of explosives
and/or flammable fumes.
• Remove the unit and the instruction manual from the
box and remove all packing materials.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used by or near children to avoid injury to themselves or
others.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner.
• Do not place the unit on or near gas or electric cooktops
or in a heated oven to avoid damage.
• Use only replacement parts provided by the
manufacturer.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse
power cord, plugs, or the whole unit in water or any
other liquid.
• A short power cord is provided to minimize the risks
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a
longer cord.
• Always unplug from the wall outlet first.
• The use of an extension cord is not recommended.

• Place the unit on a level surface away from walls and
cupboards. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter, or come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Unplug the unit when not in use and before cleaning.
• Make sure the unit is unplugged before moving the unit.
• The blades are extremely sharp, handle with care.
• Keep hands and utensils out of the food processor while
in use to prevent personal injury or damage to the unit.
• Always use the food pusher, never feed by hand.
• The unit needs to be fully stopped before opening the
lid.
• To avoid injury, do not place the blade or discs on the
base without properly installing the bowl.
• Always store blades and discs properly to avoid damage
or personal injury.
• Warm liquids are acceptable in the food processor,
never put hot liquids in the food processor.
• Never chop ice in the food processor.
• Never put frozen food into the food processor to avoid
damaging the blade.
• Never use the food processor for longer than specified
to avoid damage to the motor.
• Before putting any attachments on, always put the bowl
on the food processor first.
• Remove the blade first then empty the bowl of the food
processor.
• Never overfill the food processor, always follow
suggested capacity.
• Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
• Do not use outdoors.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Clean all parts with hot water, dishwashing liquid,
and a non-abrasive sponge.
3. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with
a cloth.

CAUTION: Never chop ice, frozen or hot foods as this can damage the
blades.
Note: Since ingredients differ in origin, size, shape and brand, ingredients
may need to be cut down to fit in the feeder tube. Never force food down the
feeder tube and always use the food pusher when processing. It is
suggested to cut meat into one inch pieces for processing.

USING THE APPLIANCE
Stainless Steel Chopping Blade:
Assembly:
1. Place the bowl in the unlock position and twist
clockwise to the lock position.
2. Place the stainless steel chopping blade inside
the bowl.
3. Put ingredients inside of the bowl and place the
chopper cover on top of the bowl then lock in
place.
4. Choose desired speed for ingredients and begin
processing.

Tip: For chopping onions using the stainless steel chopping blade, use the
pulse function a few times to prevent the onions from being too finely
chopped.
Note: Always put the blade in the bowl before you start to add ingredients.
Safeguards for stainless steel chopping blade:
•Do not use continuously for more than 1 minutes and never put more
than 2 cups of ingredients into the container.
•Do not use for mixing flour or nuts. Never chop ice or frozen foods.

Shredder and Slicing Disc:
Assembly:
1. Place the bowl in the unlock position and twist
clockwise to the lock position.
2. Place the desired side of the disc facing upward
inside the bowl on top of the rod. Note: There are
two sides that are labeled.
3. Place the top cover on the bowl and lock into
place and begin inserting food into the feed tube
by using the food pusher.
4. Choose desired speed for ingredients and begin
processing.

Tips: The shredder disc works for carrots, and potatoes and can be used
for salads and garnishes. The slicer sides works for carrots, potatoes,
cabbage, cucumber, or zucchini.
Note: Always put the disc in the bowl before you start to add ingredients.
Do not use the machine for more than one minute at a time. Always use the
food pusher, never put your hands in the feed tube. During processing, food
might get stuck and processing will need to be stopped to clear the chute
out.

CLEANING
Clean after every use.
1. Before cleaning unplug the unit.
2. Wash all parts with hot water and dish liquid.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Wipe the external surface of the food processor
with a soft damp cloth and dry surfaces with soft
dry cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasives as
these may scratch the outside.
4. Once all parts are dry place into the storage box
when not in use.
Note: Never immerse the food processor housing in
water.

NOTE: Use caution when handling discs and blades as they are extremely sharp to avoid injury.

Machine does not work
-There is a safety interlock switch on
bowl, make sure the bowl and lid lock
are securely locked in position.
-Check the power cord and power
outlet.
Disc will not extrude.
-Always clear any blocked food from
the disc before beginning again.
Motor slows down when chopping.
-Amount of ingredients is too much.
-Do not add more than the MAX line.
Vibrates/moves during use.
-Clean and dry the rubber feet on the
bottom of the unit.
-Make sure that the maximum load
capacity is not being exceeded.

soft. Pulse to chop, then

Shredded butter is great for
preparing certain pastry

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
This warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials in the mechanical
and electrical parts arising under normal use and care in this product for a period of
12 months from the date of purchase provided you are able to present a valid proof-
of-purchase. A valid proof-of-purchase is a receipt specifying item, date purchased,
and cost of item. A gift receipt showing item and date of purchase is an acceptable
proof-of-purchase. Product is intended for household use only. Any commercial use
voids the warranty.
This warranty covers the original retail purchaser or gift recipient. During the
applicable warranty period within normal household use, we will repair or replace, at
our discretion, any mechanical or electrical part which proves defective, or replace
unit with a comparable model. Shipping and handling costs are not included for
warranty replacements and are the responsibility of the customer.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS UNITS PURCHASED AND USED
WITHIN THE UNITED STATES AND DOES NOT COVER:
• Damages from improper installation.
• Damages in transit.
• Defects other than manufacturing defects.
• Damages from misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care
and maintenance, or incorrect current or voltage.
• Damage from service by other than authorized dealer or service center.
• Shipping and handling costs.
• This warranty gives you special legal rights and you may also have
other rights to which you are entitled which may vary from state to
state.
Manufacturer does not assume responsibility for loss or damage for return
shipment. We recommend that you keep your original packaging should you require
repair service. Before returning product please contact our customer care
department for return authorization. When returning product for repair please include
your full name, return address, and daytime phone number. Also include a brief
description of the problem you are experiencing and a copy of your sales receipt or
other proof of purchase in order to validate warranty status.
