Before you start
Things to check before you start
To avoid the risks that are always present when you use an electrical
appliance it is important that this appliance is installed correctly and that
you read the safety instructions carefully to avoid misuse and hazards.
Please keep this instruction booklet for future reference and pass it on to
any future owners. After unpacking the appliance please check that it is
not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance but contact Customer
Services on 0844 800 1128 (UK), 014475261 (Ireland).
Check the package and make sure you have all of the parts listed.
Decide on the appropriate location for your product.
If this product contains glass please take care when tting or handling to
prevent personal injury or damage to the product.
The specications plate is available on this appliance. This plate displays
all the necessary identication information for ordering replacement parts.
If you sell the appliance, give it away, or leave it behind when you move
house, make sure you also pass on this manual so that the new owner
can become familiar with the appliance and its safety warnings.

This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years.
Regularly check the power plug and power cord
for damage. If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied persons in

A steam cleaner is not to be used.

Danger of burns! During use the appliance
becomes hot. Care should be taken to avoid
touching heating elements inside the oven.
Warning! Accessible parts may become hot
during use. Children should be kept away.
Warning! If the door or door seals are
damaged, the oven must not be operated until
it has been repaired by a competent person.
Warning! It is hazardous for anyone other
than a trained person to carry out any service
or repair operation, which involves the removal
of any cover, which gives protection against
exposure to microwave energy.
Warning! Liquids or other food must not be
heated in sealed containers since they are
liable to explode.
Utensils should be checked to ensure that they
are suitable for use in microwave ovens.
When heating food in plastic or paper
containers, check the oven frequently due to
the possibility of ignition.
If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the
appliance and keep the door closed in order to
stie any ames.

Microwave heating of beverages can result in
delayed boiling; therefore care has to be taken
when handling the container.
The content of feeding bottles and baby food jars
are to be stirred or shaken and the temperature
is to be checked before consumption, in order to
avoid burns.
Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs
shall not be heated in microwave ovens since
they might explode even after microwave
heating has ended.
Use the appliance exclusively for the
preparation of food. Do not use the appliance
to dry clothing, paper or other objects.
Do not operate the appliance without food in
the cooking compartment. Operating without
food can damage the appliance.
Dishes can become hot due to the heated
food. Therefore, always use oven gloves to
take the food out of the appliance.
Failure to maintain the oven in a clean
condition could lead to deterioration of the
surface that could adversely affect the life
of the appliance and possibly result in a
hazardous situation.

Warning! Only allow children to use the
oven without supervision when adequate
instructions have been given so that the child
is able to use the oven in a safe way and
understands the hazards of improper use.
Caution! If the appliance operates in
combination mode, it is recommended
that children use the oven only under the
supervision of adults because the temperature
may be high.
Only use utensils that are suitable for use in
microwave ovens.
The oven should be cleaned regularly and any
food deposits removed.
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp
metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass
since they can scratch the surface, which may
result in shattering of the glass.
The microwave oven is intended for heating
food and beverages. Drying of food or clothing
and heating of warming pads, slippers,
sponges, damp cloth and similar may lead to
risk of injury, ignition or re.

Precautions to avoid possible exposure to excessive microwave energy
Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open, as this can
result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not
to break or tamper with the safety interlocks.
Do not place any object between the front face of the oven and
the door or allow dirt or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing
surfaces.
If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not be
operated until it has been repaired by a qualied person.
If the apparatus is not kept in a good state of cleanliness, its
surface could be damaged and the lifespan of the apparatus
affected, leading to a dangerous situation.
Make sure the appliance is attended when in operation.

Clock setting
When the microwave oven tunrs on, the oven will display "0:00", buzzer will sound
once.
1. Press "Kitchen Timer/Clock" twice, the hour gures ash.
2. Turn to adjust the hour gures, the input time should be within 0-23.
3. Press "Kitchen Timer/Clock", the minute gures will ash.
4. Turn to adjust the minute gures, the input time should be within 0-59.
5. Press "Kitchen Timer/Clock" to nish clock setting. ":" will ash, the clock
setting has been nished.
Note!
1) If the clock is not set, microwave will not function when powered.
2) During the process of clock setting, if you press "STOP/Clear", the
oven will go back to the previous status automatically.
Microwave cooking
1. Press the "Micro./Grill/Combi." key once, and "P100" will display.
2. Press "Micro./Grill/Combi." for times or turn to select the microwave
power 100% to 10%. "P100", "P80", "P50", "P30", "P10" will display in order.
3. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to conrm.
4. Turn to select the cooking time (the time setting should be 0:05- 95:00).
5. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to start cooking.
NOTE:The step quantities for the adjustment time of the cooking switch are as
follows:
0-1 min : 5 seconds
1-5 min : 10 seconds
5-10 min : 30 seconds
10-30 min : 1 minute
30-95 min : 5 minutes

Quick start
1. In standby mode, press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" key to cook with 100% power
level for 30 seconds. Each press on the same key can increase 30 seconds.
The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes.
2. During the microwave, grill, combination cooking and defrost by time, press
"START/+30Sec./Conrm" to increase the cooking time.
3. In standby mode, turn anti-clockwise to set cooking time with 100%
microwave power, then press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to start cooking.
Note!
Under the states of auto menu and defrost by weight, cooking time
cannot be increased by pressing "START/+30Sec./Conrm".
Grill or combi cooking
Press "Micro./Grill/Combi." once the LCD will display "P100", and press
"Micro./Grill/Combi." or turn to choose the power you want, and "G" "C-1"
or "C-2" will display. Then press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to conrm, and turn to set
cooking time from 0:05 to 95:00. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" again to start cooking.
Example: If you want to use 55% microwave power and 45% grill power (C-1) to
cook for 10 minutes, you can operate the oven as the following steps.
4. Press "Micro./Grill/Combi." once, the screen display "P100".
5. Continue to press "Micro./Grill/Combi." until the screen displays "C-1".
6. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to conrm.
7. Turn to adjust the cooking time until the oven displays "10:00".
8. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to start cooking.
Combination power instructions:

Note!
Once half the grill time has passed, the oven sounds twice, and this is
normal. In order to have a better effect of grilling food, you should turn
the food over, close the door, and then press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to
continue cooking. If no operation, the oven will continue working.

Defrost by weight
1. Press "Weight/Time Defrost" once, the screen will display "dEF1".
2. Turn to select the food weight. The range of weight is 100-2000g.
3. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" key to start defrosting.
Defrost by time
1. Press "Weight/Time Defrost" twice, the screen will display "dEF2".
2. Turn to select the cooking time. The maximum time is 95 minutes.
3. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" key to start defrosting.
Lock-out function for children
Lock: In standby mode, press "STOP/Clear" for 3 seconds, there will be a long beep
denoting entering the children-lock state and the current time will display if the
time has been set, otherwise, the LCD will display " ".
Lock quitting: In locked mode, press "STOP/Clear" for 3 seconds, there will be a
long "beep" indicating that the lock is released.
Auto menu
4. In standby mode, turn right to choose the menu from"A-1" to "A-8".
5. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to conrm the menu you choose.
6. Turn to choose the food weight.
7. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to start cooking.
8. After cooking nishes, the buzzer sounds ve times. The LCD displays
"0:00". If the time has been set, current time will be displayed.

Multi-section cooking
Two stages can be set to maximum. If one stage is defrosting, it should be put in
the rst stage. The buzzer will ring once after each stage and the next stage will
begin.
Note!
Auto menu cannot be set as one of the multi-stage.
Example: if you want to defrost the food for 5 minutes, then to cook with 80%
microwave power for 7 minutes. The steps are as following:
1. Press "Weight/Time Defrost" twice, the LCD display "dEF2".
2. Turn to adjust the defrost time of 5 minutes.
3. Press "Micro./Grill/Combi." once, LCD will dispaly "P100".
4. Turn to choose microwave power till "P80" displays.
5. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to conrm, LCD will display "P80".
6. Turn to adjust the cooking time of 7 minutes.
7. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to start cooking.

Kitchen timer
1. Press "Kitchen/Timer/Clock" once, LCD will display 00:00.
2. Turn to enter the correct timer. (The maximum cooking time is 95 minutes).
3. Press "START/+30Sec./Conrm" to conrm setting, timer indicator will be lighted.
4. When the kitchen time is reached, timer indicator will go out. The buzzer will
ring 5 times. If the clock has been set (24-hour system), LCD will display the
current time.
Note!
The kitchen Time is different from 24-hour system Kitchen Timer is a
timer.
Query function
1. In microwave, grill and combination cooking mode, press
"Micro./Grill/Combi." the current power will be displayed for 2-3.
2. In cooking mode, press "Kitchen/Timer/Clock" to check the current time. It
will be displayed for 2-3 seconds.
Other notes
1. "START/+30Sec./Conrm" must be pressed to continue cooking if the door is
opened during cooking.
2. Once the cooking programme has been set, "START/+30Sec./Conrm" is not
pressed in 1 minute. The current time will be displayed. The setting will be
cancelled.
3. The buzzer sounds once by efcient press, inefcient press will be no
responce.
Care and maintenance
Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons
in order to avoid a danger or injury.

Note!
If the appliance is not in use for a long period of time, disconnect
power, clean the inside parts, place the appliance in a dry area and
leave the door slightly open.
Cleaning
• Be sure to unplug the appliance from the power supply.
• Clean the cavity of the oven after using with a slightly damp cloth.
• Clean the accessories in the usual way in soapy water.
• The door frame and seal and neighbouring parts must be cleaned carefully
with a damp cloth when they are dirty.
• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the
oven door glass since they can scratch the surface, which may result in
shattering of the glass.
• Cleaning Tip---For easier cleaning of the cavity walls that the food cooked
can touch:
Place half a lemon in a bowl, add 300ml
(1/2 pint) water and heat on 100%.
microwave power for 10 minutes.
Wipe the oven clean using a soft, dry cloth.
Protection from moisture
Warning
Always switch off the electricity supply before
performing maintenance work. In the event of a fault,
contact customer services. Spraying the appliance with
water is forbidden.
OFF
• Avoid placing the appliance in a place when heavy moisture is present in
order to minimise the possibility of its metal parts becoming rusted.
Protection from heat
• The appliance should be kept away from any heat source or direct sunlight.

Materials you can use in microwave oven
Caution!
• When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on
the oven due to the possibility of ignition.
• Do not overcook food.
• Remove wire twist-ties and metal handles from paper or plastic
containers/bags before placing them in the oven.
• Eggs in their shells and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be
heated in microwave ovens as they may explode, even after
microwave heating is complete.
• The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or
shaken and the temperature checked before consumption in order
to avoid burns.
• Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive
boiling. Therefore, care must be taken when handing the container.
Aluminium foil
• Cover only. Small, smooth pieces can be used to cover thin parts of meat or
poultry to prevent overcooking. Arcing can occur if foil is too close to oven walls.
The foil should be at least 1 inch (2.5cm) away from oven walls.
Browning dish
• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. The bottom of the browning dish must
be at least 3/16 inch (5mm) above the turntable. Incorrect usage may cause the
turntable to break.
Dinnerware
• Microwave-safe only. Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use cracked
or chipped dishes.
Glass jars
• Always remove lid. Use only to heat food until just warm. Most glass jars are not
heat resistant and may break.
Glassware
• Heat-resistant oven glassware only. Make sure there is no metallic trim. Do not
use cracked or chipped dishes.

Oven cooking bags
• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with metal tie. Pierce to
allow steam to escape.
Paper plates and cups
• Use for short–term cooking/warming only. Do not leave oven unattended while
cooking.
Paper towels
• Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing fat. Use supervised for short-term
cooking only.
Parchment paper
• Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for steaming.
Plastic
• Microwave-safe only. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Should be labelled
"Microwave Safe". Some plastic containers soften, as the food inside gets hot.
"Boiling bags" and tightly closed plastic bags should be slit, pierced or vented as
indicated on the packaging.
Plastic wrap
• Microwave-safe only. Use to cover food during cooking to retain moisture. Do
not allow plastic wrap to touch food.
Thermometers
• Microwave-safe only (meat and sugar thermometers).
Wax paper
• Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain moisture.

Metal or metal-trimmed utensils
• Metal shields the food from microwave energy. Metal or metal
trimed utensils must not be placed in the microwave. In more.
Metal twist ties
• May cause arcing and could cause a re in the oven.
Paper bags
• May cause a re in the oven.
Plastic Foam
• Foam may melt or contaminate the liquid inside when exposed to high temperatures.
Wood
• Wood will dry out when used in the microwave oven and may split or crack.
Care and maintenance
Warning

OFF
Caution
Do not use hot water, diluents, petrol, alcohol, kerosene, washing
powder, cleanser, alkaline detergent, acid, chemical cloth, etc. for

appliance must not be cleaned directly with water as this could cause
rusting or render the insulation less efcient.
