Operating Instr ctions:
1. Belt Adjustment
1) This unit omes with and adjustable belt that ranges from 20 in hes to 54 in hes in length.
Simply slide the belt through the adjusting bra kets to the desired length for proper fit.
2) On e the belt is properly adjusted, use the Vel ro overs atta hed to the belt to over up
the ex ess.
2. Battery Charging and Installation
1) In luded with your systemare a lithium 12v battery and harger. Charging time is 3
hours
2) Plug the battery into the harging ord. A red light lo ated on the harging ord will
indi ate that the battery is properly onne ted and harging. The light will turn green
when the battery is fully harged. Completely harge the battery for 4 hours prior to first
use.
3) Re-insert the battery on either side of the pump lo ated in the battery pou h.
4) Se ure remaining ord into the pump pa k
5) Close the ompartment.
3. Ice Bottle Use and Installation
1) The system omes with a round plasti i e bottle ontainer that needs to be filled to
the top edge of the COOLSHIRT label on the bottle and pla ed in a freezer until frozen
all the way through for maximum ooling times. Overfilling will result in damage to
the bottle. An additional round i e bottle ontainer is in luded.
2) Open the Cam-Lo k bladder lo ated in the “ ooler” bag.
3) Pla e the round plasti i e bottle in the Cam-Lo k Bag. For additional ooling, remove the
lid from the round plasti i e bottle prior to pla ing in the Cam-Lo k Bag.

Operation (Contin ed):
1) In the Water Bladder add ½ an oun e of Maintenen e Additive ( #MA-16 ). Add 16
oun es of lean water.
2) Fill the remainder of the Water Bladder with ubed i e.
3) Seal the Water Bladder ontaining the i e blo k bottle, the Maintenan e Additive, and
the lean water, he king to ensure a tight and omplete seal has been made on the
Water Bladder.
WARNING! The nit will leak if yo do not ens re that the water bladder is sealed.
4) Fold over the top of the Water Bladder and zip the ooler bag pa k losed.
5) Using the properly adjusted waist belt, atta h the system to your waist.
6) Turn the belt so that the pa ks are lo ated on your left side for easy onne tion and
installation of the COOLSHIRT or A tive Aqua Vest. With all onne tions made turn the
waist belt to pla e the pa k in a omfortable position.
7) Conne t the battery and press the “ON”, you should feel a slight vibration and hear a
low hum.
8) Within 30 se onds you will feel the COOLSHIRT or A tive Aqua Vest begin to ool
indi ating proper onne tions and installation of the systems omponents.
Maintenance:
1) After ea h use of the system the unit should be drained. Open the Water Bladder and
pour out ontents of the system.
2) Remove the round plasti i e bottle and pla e in the freezer for the next use.
3) Conne t lithium battery to the harger and re- harge the battery pa k.
