Congratulations! You have purchased a Regent Cool Touch 300 watt
halogen worklight. This worklight has been designed to provide a wide con-
centration of light for any project inside or outside your ho e. The special
outer shell of this worklight is uch cooler and safer than an ordinary halo-
gen worklight. Please review the following i portant safety instructions
carefully.

What to know
INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO A RISK OF
FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPOSURE TO

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPOSURE
TO EXCESSIVE UV RADIATION OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
• Lighted la p is HOT!
• Do not re ain in light if skin feels war .
• For indoor and outdoor use.
• UL and cUL LISTED for wet locations.
• Fixture ust be connected to a 120 Volt, 60 Hz power source. Any other
connection voids warranty.
• Keep away fro fla able objects.
• The bulb and fixture get extre ely hot during use. Always
unplug the light and let it cool 5 inutes before atte pting to
touch the fixture.
• Do not touch hot lens, inside of wire guard, or die-cast housing located
inside protective polypropylene outer shell.
•This fixture has been designed with a protective outer shell which is
safe for incidental contact with the fixture. Do not handle or touch
outer shell for extended periods of time and never touch the glass
lens while fixture is HOT! Always use the handle located at the top
of the worklight to carry or aim the fixture.
• Bulb gets HOT quickly! Only contact switch/plug when turning on.
• The electrical syste , and the ethod of electrically connecting the fixture
to it, ust be in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local
building codes.

• Do not operate the unit with a issing or da aged wire safety guard,
safety glass lens (la p contain ent), or UV filter.
• Do not direct the light at persons or look directly at lighted fixture.
• Use only with a 300 watt or s aller bulb. Installing a bulb of a higher
wattage could create a fire hazard or risk of burns. Use of a higher
wattage bulb will void the product warranty.
• Never touch the bulb with your bare hands. Oil fro your skin can
cause pre ature failure. Always handle the bulb with gloves or a soft
cloth.
• If lens is replaced, use only a diffused te pered safety glass of
equal thickness.
• For axi u bulb life, position light so that the halogen bulb re ains
within 4° of horizontal.
• Disasse bly of your fixture will void the warranty.
• Use only with three wire extension cords that have three-prong
grounding plugs and that are suitable for outdoor use, such as cords
arked SW, SW-A, SOW, SOW-A, STW, STW-A, STOW, STOW-A,
SJW, SJW-A, SJOW, SJOW-A, SJTW, SJTW-A, SJTOW, SJTOW-A
and grounding receptacles that accept a three-prong plug. When the
fixture is used in wet locations, Ground Fault Circuit Interruption
(GFCI) protection ust be provided on the circuit(s) or outlet(s) to be
used. Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection and
are able to be used for this easure of safety.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Replacing the bulb
Step 1: Loosen the screw located at the top of the fixture recessed
inside the outer shell.
Step 2: Open door fra e asse bly for easy access to the bulb.
Step 3: Using gloves or a soft cloth, press the bulb to one side of the
socket as indicated on the etal reflector. Re ove opposite
end of bulb fro the other side of the socket. Reverse this
procedure to install a new replace ent bulb.
How to use
The fixture is packed in a co pact storage position. Re ove the fixture
fro the carton. Loosen the knobs on the sides of the fixture and
swing the fixture up so that the lens guard is directly above the closed
or curved portion of the tubular steel stand. Retighten the knobs.
Aiming the fixture
Loosen the knobs located on the sides of the fixture housing. Using the
top carrying handle, tilt to desired position, then retighten knobs. There
is a stop designed in the stand asse bly which restricts downward ai -
ing of the fixture for safety reasons. To prevent over-heating and risk of
burns or fire, do not ai the fixture down at an angle of ore than 10
degrees fro horizontal.

Two year limited warranty
Cooper Lighting (“the Co pany”) warrants this product (“the product”) against
defects in aterial or work anship for a period of two years fro date of orig-
inal purchase, and agrees to repair or, at the Co pany’s option, replace a
defective product without charge for either replace ent parts or labor during
such ti e. This does not include labor to re ove or install fixtures.
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product. A pur-
chasers receipt or other proof of date of original purchase acceptable to the
Co pany is required before warranty perfor ance shall be rendered.
This warranty only covers product failure due to defects in aterials or work-
anship which occurs in nor al use. It does not cover the bulb or failure of
the product caused by accident, isuse, abuse, lack of reasonable care, alter-
ation, or faulty installation, subjecting the product to any but the specified
electrical service or any other failure not resulting fro defects in aterials or
work anship. Da age to the product caused by separately purchased, non-
Co pany brand replace ent bulbs and corrosion or discoloration of brass
co ponents are not covered by this warranty.
There are no express warranties except as described above.
THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE
PRODUCT OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. ALL
IMPLIED WARRANTIES, IF ANY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE
LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRAN-
TY. So e states do not allow the exclusion or li itation of incidental or con-
sequential da ages, or li itations on how long an i plied warranty lasts, so
the above exclusions or li itations ay not apply to you.
No other warranty, written or verbal, is authorized by the Co pany. This war-
ranty gives you specific legal rights, and you ay also have other rights which
vary fro state to state.
To obtain warranty service, please write to Cooper Lighting, 1121 Highway 74
South, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Enclose product odel nu ber and prob-
le s you are experiencing, along with your address and telephone nu ber.
You will then be contacted with a solution, or a Return Goods Authorization
nu ber and full instructions for returning the product. All returned products
ust be acco panied by a Return Goods Authorization Nu ber issued by the
Co pany and ust be returned freight prepaid. Any product received without
a Return Goods Authorization Nu ber fro the Co pany will be refused.
Cooper Lighting is not responsible for erchandise da aged in transit.
Repaired or replaced products shall be subject to the ter s of this warranty
and are inspected when packed. Evident or concealed da age that is ade
in transit should be reported at once to the carrier aking the delivery and a
clai filed with the .
