b) This product is intended for outdoor and indoor use. When products are used outdoor, connect the product to a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper
installation.
c) This seasonal product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
d) Do not mount or place near to gas or electric heater, fireplaces, candles or other similar sources of heat.
e) Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks.
f) Do not attempt to open the cover at the back or any part of the product, this may cause damage to the wire
insulation.
g) Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or leaving the product unattended.
h) This is an electric product –NOT A TOY. To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury or electric shock, it should not be
played with or placed where small children can reach.
i) Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use.
j) Do not hang ornaments or other objects onto power cord or light string.
k) Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cord as this may damage the wire insulation.
l) Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any flammable material when in use.
m) Do not plug in the power cord when product is inside the packaging.
n) Do not leave product unattended in the presence of children.
o) During extreme weather conditions, do not use product outdoor.
p) Do not use with a voltage converter. Use only the adapter provided with the product.
q) Read and follow all instructions provided with the product.
r) Please save carton and all inner packaging materials to repack and protect this item for storage at the end of the
holiday season.
USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
a) This Nutcracker is made of durable, weather-resistant poly-resin, finished with a top quality outdoor paint and a final
coat of clear lacquer. You may see slight variations from piece-to-piece in finishes and materials.
b) Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damage, or frayed wire
insulation or cords, cracks in the lamp holders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
c) When storing the product, move the product carefully from where it is placed, including trees, branches, or bushes,
to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections and wires.
d) When product is not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location away from sunlight.
e) To clean Nutcracker, use a soft cloth or sponge, water and very mild, well-diluted dish soap. To avoid scratching or
damaging the finish, do not use abrasive cleaners, brushes or steel wool.
f) Do not allow children to climb, hang from, or play on this item.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Gently lift the unit from the packaging. DO NOT LIFT BY NUTCRACKER ARMS. Have 2 people lift and
place the Nutcracker on a flat surface.
STEP 2: Gently lift the drum unit from packaging. Mount the metal hook on drum unit to the other hook on
the waist of Nutcracker. Attach the plug of cord on drum unit to the connector on Nutcracker, and
twist the cap to secure. To attach the plug, make sure the arrow mark is facing top. See Fig. 1.
STEP 3: Lift the drum sticks from packaging, and twist on the Nutcracker’s hands to secure. Both sticks can
interchange for both hands. See Fig. 2.
STEP 4: Take the adapter with power cord from packaging. Attach the plug of cord to the connector located
at back of Nutcracker’s base. Twist the cap to secure. See Fig. 3.
STEP 5: Plug the adapter into a nearby working outlet

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
MUSIC AND LIGHT OPERATION
STEP 1: Locate the control panel on the right back of Nutcracker.
STEP 2: Turn the volume knob clockwise to start playing music and light.
STEP 3: Music volume increases when turning the volume knob clockwise towards “ ”.

TIMER SETTING
STEP 1: Turn the timer knob clockwise with the indication mark pointing to “ ” to turn on timer function.
STEP 2: When the timer function is activated. Nutcracker plays for 8 hours and stays idle in standby mode for the
next 16 hours. If the timer function stays activated, the music and light will automatically turn on and off
at the same time each day.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the product does not light or music does not play:
1. Make sure the adapter is connected to a 120V –60Hz power supply.
2. Make sure the product cord is properly connected to the adapter.
3. Turn the volume knob clockwise to increase music to a proper volume level.
4. Check if the timer function is activated. When the timer knob is turned on, Nutcracker plays for 8 hours and
then automatically stays idle in standby mode for the next 16 hours.
