LOCATING MODEL # INFORMATION
Model numbers and other information required for service parts is
located on a label on the interior right side of the top most drawer.
•Empty weight of 36" cabinet is 308 Ibs
•Empty weight of 46" cabinet is 472 Ibs
•The maximum weight for each drawer should be
no more than 200 pounds.
•The maximum product weight, including contents, for the 36"
model should be no more than 1800 pounds.
•The maximum product weight, including contents, for the 46"
model should be no more than 3000 pounds.
•The maximum weight for each (2) inch deep drawer is
(120) pounds.
•The maximum weight for each (3) inch deep drawer is
(200) pounds.
•The maximum weight for each (4) - (6) inch deep drawer is
(320) pounds.
•The maximum weight for each drawer (9) inches deep or more
is (400) pounds.
• Lubricate the Lockbar Pivot (A), Lockbar brackets (B), Lock
Mechanism (C), and Cable ends (D) with spray lubricate twice
yearly (See Figure 1)
• Lubricate the Lock (E) with graphite yearly.

•Lubricate the casters with high quality bearing grease
twice yearly. Use zerks if applicable.

• Lubricate lock with graphite yearly.
• Periodically the surfaces should be cleaned with
a mild detergent and water.
• Grease and oil can be removed with most standard cleaning
fluids. For safety, use a nonflammable cleaning fluid.
• Auto wax will preserve the unit's luster finish. Apply the wax as to
a car. The wax will also help protect the unit against scratches.
• If drawer liners are supplied, it is recommended they are
used to protect the finish inside the drawers and to make
the drawers easier to clean. The drawer liners may be
cleaned with soap and water.

SIDEHANDLEINSTALLATION
items Needed:
114=20x 1 1/2 Hex Screw (Qty: 8)
Handle (Qty: 2)
318" Wrench
Process:
oAttach (1) handle endcap using (2) screws.
Tighten with a wrench.
oAlign handle with notches in attached endcap,
hold in position.
oAlign notches in second handle endcap and attach using
(2) screws. Tighten with a wrench.
oTo remove, reverse the procedure.
oHandles are attached to both sides.

Process:
oDecide which position and in which drawers they would
best serve your needs.
oThe dividers are cut to fit right to left in the drawers. If
you prefer to run them front to back, they may be
trimmed in length to do so.
oPosition the dividers in the desired locations.
oThread screws through the bottom of the drawer and into
each divider. Tighten all the screws.

CASTER INSTALLATION (ifrequired) DRAWER LINER INSTALLATION

Process:
oLay the cart down on its back. (Use packaging matedat
to protect the paint finish.)
oMount both swivet casters on the same side of the cart
using (4) screws on each caster.
oWrench tighten alt screws.
oMount rigid casters to the opposite end of the cart in the
same manner.
oReturn the unit to its upright position.
Items Needed:

Process:
oRemove the non-slip drawer liner from the rolt. The
drawer liner may be cut with scissors to fit each drawer
and around the drawer dividers, if necessary.
CHEST ATTACHMENT (if purchased)
Items Needed:
5/16-18 x 1 Hex Screw (Qty: 4) [included with chest]
5/16 Wrench
Process:
-Remove the wooden top from the cart.
oRemove the top two drawers of the cart (refer to the
drawer removal instructions).
oLift the chest onto the cart. Line up the holes in the
bottom of the chest with the holes in the top dthe cart.
oAttach the chest using (4) screws inserted from the
underside of the top of the cart. (See Figure 8)
oWrench tighten all screws.
oReplace the drawer (refer to drawer
installation instructions).
-To remove, reverse procedure.

FRICTION SLIDES
Tab Styme-Fully extend the drawer. Insert screwdriver into
the slot in the side and push in on the stop until it clears
the lance. Pult drawer just past lance before
releasing stop. Repeat the process for the other slide.

REMOVING AND iNSTALLiNG DRAWERS
oEmpty the drawer.
oFully extend the drawer.

REINSTALL DRAWERS
Ball bearing slide =Putt slides and slide carrier out to fully
extended position (See Figure 13). Hold the slide on the
cabinet while aligning it with the slide on drawer. Slightly
insert one side and repeat for the other side. Slowly push
drawer to its fully closed position to engage slide. Open
drawer and rectose to ensure proper operation.

BALL BEARING SLIDES
Lever Style - Lift or lower (depending on the slide) the
release lever on both sides, (this allows the slides to ride
over the stops.) Putt out to remove.

Tab Style - Depress the release tabs on both sides,
(this allows the slides to ride over the stops.)

Friction slide =Fully extend slides in cabinet. Hold the
slide on the cabinet while aligning it with the slide on
drawer. Push the drawer into the unit until the drawer
futty engages stides. Open drawer and reclose to ensure
proper operation. (If stop does not engage slide, lightly
deflect the stop with screwdriver.)

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE UNiT
Locking the Unit:
oPutt handle lever out.
Insert the key into the lock and turn it clockwise.
Release lever.
oIf the drawers do not open, push att the drawers
completely closed to release the tockbars

Unmocking the Unit:
Always check the unit to make sure all the drawers are
completely closed before locking.
oPutt the handle lever.
oInsert key into the lock and turn it counterclockwise.
*Release lever.
SELF CLOSING SLIDES
The self closing feature will putt the drawer closed when
the drawer is pushed past the slide detent. This is located
approximately 1/2" from the fully closed position.
REMOVING AND iNSTALLiNG SLIDES
Slide Removal =
The drawers in these units can be rearranged to fit your
specific needs. This means that drawers may be moved
or replaced as desired. For example, a 6qnch drawer
may be replaced by a 2=inch and a 4=inch drawer, or
three 24nch drawers.
oFirst remove the drawer (Refer to Operation A).
oLift and hold the spring retainer, and push the slide
toward the rear of the unit.
The slide may now be removed.

Slide Installation =
oPlace the slide in the appropriate position in the unit and
pull toward the front of the unit until the spring retainer
snaps into position and secures the slide.
oFor smooth operation, make sure that the drawers are
matched with their original slides.

° Fije (1) remate terminal de manija utilizando (2) tornillos.
°Apdete con una Ilave.
°Alinee la manija con las muescas en el remate terminal,
sost6ngala en posici6n.
°Alinee las muescas en el remate terminal de la segunda manija
y fije utifizando (2) tornillos. Apfiete con una Ilave.
° Para quitado, deshaga los pasos anteriores.
• Las manijas se atan a ambos lados.

Proceso:
°Decida qu8 posicign yen cuales gavetas se adaptaran mejor a
sus necesidades.
°Los divisores estan cortados para encajar de derecha a
izquierda en las gavetas. Si prefiere colocados del frente hacia
la parte posterior, pueden recortarse a Io largo tambign.
°Coloque los divisores en las ubicaciones que desee.
°Inserte tornillos a trav6s de la parte inferior de la gaveta yen
cada divisor. Apnete todos los tornillos.

, Recueste la unidad rodante sobre su parte posterior. (Utifice el
material de empaque para proteger el acabado de la pintura.)
, Monte ambas ruedas giratorias en el mismo lado de la unidad
rodante utilizando (4) tornillos en cada rueda.
, Apnete todos los tornillos con una Ilave.
, Monte ruedas r{gidas en el lado opuesto de la unidad rodante
de la misma forma.
, Vuelva a colocar la unidad en su posici6n vertical.

Proceso:
o Retire del rollo el forro antirresbalante para gavetas. El forro de
gaveta puede cortarse con tijeras para adaptado a cada gaveta
y alrededor de los divisores de gavetas, si fuese necesario.
ACCESORIO DE gAOL (si to adquiere)
Emementos necesarios:
Tornillo hexagonal de 5116=18 x 1 (Cant.: 4) [se incluye con el
baOI]
Llave Inglesa de 5/16"
Proeeso:
, Retire la parte superior de madera de la unidad rodante.
, Retire las dos gavetas superiores de la unidad rodante
(refigrase a las instrucciones para remoci6n de gavetas).
, Levante el baOl y colgquelo en la unidad rodante. Alinee los
agujeros en la parte inferior del ba01 con los de la parte
superior de la unidad rodante.
, Fije el baOl utilizando (4) tornillos insertados desde abajo de la
parte superior de la unidad rodante. (Refigrase a la figura 8).
, Apnete todos los tornillos con una Ilave.
, Vuelva a colocar la gaveta (refigrase alas instrucciones de
instalaci6n de la gaveta).
, Pare retirar, invierta el procedimiento.

REMOCI6N E INSTALACI6N DE GAVETAS
, Vacie la gaveta.
, Abra completamente la gaveta.

CORREDERAS DE FRICCtON
Estimo Reng_eta - extienda comptetamente ta gaveta.
Inserte et destornillador en ta ranura dei costado y
presione et tope hasta que tibere et rej6n. Hate ta gaveta
justo despues del rej6n antes de tiberar el tope. Repita el
proceso con ta otra corredera

VUELVA A COLOCAR LOS CAJONES
Correderas de rodamientos esferieos: hale hacia afuera
las correderas y el soporte de las correderas hasta que queden
en posiciSn totalmente extendida (RefiSrase a la Figura 13).
Sostenga la corredera en el gabinete mientras Io alinea con la
corredera de la gaveta. Ligeramente inserte uno de los lades y,
luego, repita la operaci6n para el otro. Lentamente presione la
gaveta hasta que est6 completamente cerrada para enganchar
en la corredera. Abra la gaveta y vuelva a cerrarla para
asegurarse de que funcione correctamente.

Corredera de frieei6n: extienda completamente las
correderas en el gabinete. Sostenga la corredera en el gabinete
mientras Io alinea con la corredera de la gaveta. Empuje la
gaveta en la unidad hasta que la gaveta se enganche
completamente en las correderas. Abra la gaveta y vuelva a
cerrarla para asegurarse de que funcione correctamente. (Si el
tope no se engancha en la corredera, d6blelo ligeramente con un
destornillador.)

• Inserte la Ilave en la cerradura y 9irela en el sentido horado.
• Suelte la palanca.
• Si las 9avetas no abren, empuje todas las 9avetas
completamente cerradas para Iiberar las barras de sujeci6n.

° Las gavetas de estas unidades pueden disponerse de otro
modo para que se adapten a sus necesidades especificas.
Esto significa que las gavetas pueden moverse o reemplazarse
como Io desee. Pot ejemplo, una gaveta de 6" (15,2 cm) puede
reemplazarse pot una gaveta de 2" (5 cm) y de 4" (10,2 cm), o
tres gavetas de 2" (5 cm).
, Pdmero retire la gaveta (Refierase a la Operaci6n A).
, Levante y sostenga el retenedor con muelle y presione la
corredera hacia la parte posterior de la unidad. La corredera
podra retirarse ahora.

Desbmoqueo de Raunidad:
, Siempre revise la unidad para comprobar que todas las gavetas
est6n completamente cerradas antes de asegurar.
• Hale la palanca de la manija.
, Inserte la Ilave en la cerradura y girela en el sentido antihorado.
• Suelte la palanca.
CORREDERASAUTOCERRANTES
La caracteristica de cierre automatico tirara del caj6n cerrado
cuando el caj6n se empuja mas alia de la muesca de la
diapositiva. #:ste es aproximadamente Iocalizado 112"de la
posici6n completamente cerrada.

Instalaei6n de la ¢orredera =
, Coloque la corredera en la posici6n adecuada en la unidad y
hale hacia el frente de la misma hasta que el retenedor de
resorte encaje en su posici6n y asegure la corredera.
, Para un funcionamiento suave, cerci6rese de que las gavetas
correspondan con sus correderas odginales.

En la posici6n DESBLO-
QUEADA hale la palanca de
aseguramiento vadas veces.
Coloque la unidad en un
area nivelada.
Desbloquee la unidad.
Cierre todas las gavetas
completamente. Vuelva a
asegurar la unidad.
